Blue Serene Resorts

We had a wonderfull stay in blue serene resorts for 2 nights. Friendly staffs and nice ambience. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Had an opportunity to stay in Blue serene resorts as part of my friend's wedding function. Well maintained Rooms & pool. Great hospitality and tasty food. All in all a wonderful experience. Nice getaway from city life.

Irresponsible staff, worst room service….
Delivering some other items to our room than what we asked for… When asked to connect to someone responsible, they are telling that the restaurant manager is some guy named Sanu and the GM is someone named Ratheesh… but both are not there… it seems they are busy in some other work than managing the hotel.will never recommend this resort to anyone.worst experience…

Rooms were exquisite. Restaurant service was also good. Nice food. Felt like they were short of staff. No one was there to welcome guest and backside of property was also not well maintained.
Overall experience was pleasant. The available staff were polite and tried their best to give excellent service.
Suggestion: Please serve welcome drink it sets the mood

It was a good outing with the family. The rooms are really spacious, tastefully done, good and clean wash room with a great view to the backwaters. The food is really good, both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. There is a well maintained pool, gym and a game room. They had arranged an hour's boat trip in the back waters which was really enjoyable and entertaining. They have a well stocked bar also. It's an ideal place for big family outings as well as corporate events.

Bar lounge is poor. There is not like a five star lounge.its alocal setup. Even net work coverage is also an issue.there is no free wifi for bar lounge customers.not at all satisfied.service and other is excellent.

We had our cousins Wedding reception kept here. The place is absolutely amazing. The scenic beauty is also to be admired. We had even booked rooms to stay. Rooms are good especially since they have a good roof height the rooms feel extra spacious. They have well maintained the place. Hope they keep it up

The boating was superb.especially the boat driver Joshy. He is an experienced boatman and his knowledge regarding the place is superb. He has got a very good vocabulary in Malayalam.

Excellent location, well built property, having lot of facilities and very helpful staff.

The swimming pool is not well maintained and not clean. The complement breakfast is too basic and doesn't match with the star rating of the property.

Celebrated our kids birthday here. We enjoyed the house boat cruise through the river with a humorous commentary by the skipper. The hotel facilities are well maintained and world class. And the buffet dinner was excellent. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to our requests.

Blue Serene is a good luxury resort, away from the madding crowd, but close enough to the town Thrissur for a quick weekend get away. The road leading upto the resort is reasonably good unlike some of the resorts in Alappuzha, where it is very narrow. There is ample parking space. The check in was smooth and the staff was very cordial. The room I occupied was specious with a good view of the backwaters. It is slightly more expensive than the one with no view to the backwaters. Bathrooms are clean. No bath is available, only shower. Toiletries, as usual, is mainly for one occupant, not for two, except for one or two things. Towels are clean.
There is facility to iron your own cloths in the room. There is no fridge.
You can't expect the morning newspaper.
The breakfast and the dinner were ordinary, but the vegetarian lunch was excellent, as I am a veg.
I did expect the pool to be cleaner, but you can manage. It is around 25mt long which is good enough to get a reasonable workout. There is a small gym also there with a treadmill and all, which can accommodate not more than 2 to 3 people.
There is facility for boating there which is a real treat.
There is a spa and ayurvedic massage center which I didn't use.
There are a few held available for small functions like Birthday party, small marriage functions.
One problem with the floors is that all floors are poorly signposted. We had to walk around to find where our rooms are.
Overall it is a good place to stay, though the expense may be slightly on the higher side.

If you are looking for a quite getaway then this is a perfect place. In the evening you can sit down at the deck, gazing the mountains and sound of water from nearby waterfall, it's just magical. We would love to come back

We didn't stayed so can't rate rooms and service but we went there for boating. Was a very nice experience, food served was partially satisfied us by taste and cost. I felt like food was over billed.

We had a batch gtg and had the whole place to ourselves. Rooms were good, spacious and well maintained. The staff esp Mr Sanu, was very helpful and adjusting. The food was delicious.

Location is excellent and scenic. Beautiful ambience, rooms are very spacious, neat anf clean and very comfortable too. Washrooms too was very clean. We had a very memorable stay and this was for every guest who stayed in 28 rooms. Boat ride was joyful and worth it. Coming to the services, Blue Serene had excellent staff, friendly and accomodative. Additionally Sanu the F & B Manager was very polite and very attentive towards every guest. The arrangement made by him was the best. Not to forget Jidhun who also was very polite and helpful. About the food with different choices was super tasty and fantastic. Overall I would highly recommend this Resort.

The rooms are good. Reception services, room service, in room dining, house keeping are all excellent. Very well trained and responsive staff.food is amazing.

Great stay.very good staff.epic food and very clean rooms.kinda little expensive when compare with other hotels in Thrissur but as this hotel is new and for the service they are offering its worth it. Breakfast buffet was authentic kerala.

Good ambience, spacious hall and has kids play area, boating. Restaurant is not occupied and arranged. Good place for functions and events.

We had gone for the boat ride for 50people for 9k and it was good and amazing. It was from 3-6 pm and it was a memorable one.

We celebrated our son's 1st bday @Blue Serene Resort. From the stage decoration, photography, food everything was taken care by the resort team and it was awesome. It was way more than what i expected.   Ambience was good with polite staffs. A true 5 star experience. Iam really happy that i chose this place to celebrate my son's bday. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Venue is extremely nice, food for wedding was very tasty. Professional chef and staff. Sanu is a thorough professional, very calm and accommodating. Had the best time. Would recommend this place 10/10 times. Best place in Kerala.

Overall, I had a great experience with Blue Serene; staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect.

This was without a doubt one of the most luscious dishes I’ve ever had the privilege of experiencing. I’d certainly eat it again.

I liked the room, food and stay. But the pool was not maintained properly. I could find larvae of many insects and also tadpoles in the pool.

Excellent location on the backwaters close to Guruvayoor. The perfect Wedding destination. Luxurious Rooms, Spacious Halls, parking space etc. The overlooking backwaters is the perfect backdrop for an excellent outdoor function.

Everything is quite good but what I didn't like was there too limited options for food and secondly pool was not clean enough and it's also accessible to few groups who opt for their Saturday and Sunday special package of a trip on boat+dinner so it kind of made the pool pathetically crowded that people who are staying in the resort would have to quit their plan of using swimming pool with their own family inspite of paying much higher than their outside crowd opting for before mentioned package. Rest all fine and one thing I noticed was they do not have any dustbin inside resort though they maintain cleanliness to the max.

We spent a wonderful time in Blue Serene Resort. Rooms & food service were excellent. It has a lovely entrance garden area, playground, swimming pool, gym & boat house etc. Staffs (Mr. Sanu, Ms. Saveetha & team) are very helpful.

Room and property was awesome. Good customer service. Wonderful side seeing. Neat & clean area, slient place for spending time with your family and friends.

Had a good stay. It's a very decent place good for family. People like me who enjoy quiet, uninterrupted stay and like to stay indoors would like this place. It's a small resort and there is a lot of room for improvement. Food was just average but overall experience was good.

Friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms with lake side view. Tasty food. Boat ride is fun but expensive. Good size swimming pool but unfortunately not the cleanest.

I went for a function here. Ambience is really nice. But the ac wasn’t working at all in the banquet hall and every guest was so uncomfortable. The management reacted really poorly towards us when we complained. The management lacks professionalism.

I had to go to the hotel to attend an event. Before going I called the hotel and I was told the hotel has WiFi but on arriving at the hotel I was told WiFi access will be given only if I reserved a room. I have been to several hotels for professional and personal reasons however this was the first hotel wherein I went for a banquet and I was asked to reserve a room to access WiFi. And the manager was very impolite. He needs to learn customer service and the ethics of talking and dealing with customers in a professional manner. People are very much dependent on the Internet for professional and personal reasons. When access to internet is made available all across the globe for free, the restriction at the hotel to internet access only to those who had taken a room didn't make any sense. People may require internet access even when they arrange meetings or banquet in a hotel. Their WiFi access restriction doesn't make sense in an era where WiFi is provided free at other hotels, airports, railway stations and other public places. Moreover the impolite manner in which the staff and management responded was a huge turnoff. The hotel is definitely not a place to arrange banquet & meetings. And if you don't want to upset guest and people whom you are hosting then you would/should never opt the hotel for any banquet or meetings.

Horrible service. Extremely overpriced. Untrained staff who has no idea what is to be done. Rooms are spacious but nothing else is good. Swimming pool is there but non functional. AC restaurant is there but AC not working. Complementary breakfast was not worth the money. They did not even have ice or cold water. Very bad experience.

Worst service ever.they were not at all prepared to accomodate any guests.we had to beg for the breakfast which was said to be complimentary.also dey served us the food outside under the sun during dis summer season and we were all red after d meal.we had to ask for each and everything including water and glass.there was continous power failure in between.room service also terrible.dey have a good infrastructure but not used to its full extend.they say it is a 5 star hotel but the service we got was not even 1 star.

I stayed for 2 days in this resort. The hospitality and service were far below average. There is no proper restaurant or room service. The breakfast was poorer than a local restaurant. Swimming pool was not functional as they were cleaning it seems. They spoiled the function that was arranged, by not organising it properly.
