BLUEMARINE Backwaters

This is a scam. I have not seen reviews just bcz my cab driver suggested it to me and I fall in the trap. They ask for 4500 for a boat and told that it is a fixed price by government and convinced us that you will feel it more than worth but in no way it is worth of 4500. I think 500 is more than enough for it.don't fall in trap otherwise you will regret for lifetime.

When visiting the BLUEMARINE backwater with your family, be sure to take in the beautiful scenery and indulge in some delicious coconut water in the center.

Very good. Back water boat ride. Depending on group size, boats are provided, with reasonable price.

It is purely waste of money.in dusty water.
No sights.at all.

Underated experiencee donnt waste your money here.you will be enjoying more sceneries and sight seeing places other than here.so personely i dont recommend more beautiful places are avalilable throught kerala

Just a scam running around Kochi. If you have visited Alleppey or have plan to visit any backwaters don't feel shy from skipping this place. They charge heavily & roam around for 1 hour where you can see 2-3,5 star hotels, some fishing nets & mangroves. There is lot of waiting time until your turn comes. This is just waste of money & time. Better to enjoy other points in & around Kochi rather than this.

Very beautiful place for boating. The boatman is good and he explained everything he showed to us.

They have a 1 hr program for 14km total to and fro boating experience. For 4 people they are charging rs 2500.

Request all to go through this review if your aged parents are going alone. Worst tour facility to the Mangrove Forest is Blue Marine Backwaters. Today date 11th Nov 2022 my parents booked the boat from Blue Marine Backwaters at Rs. 2500. They took 2500 as amount to show Mangrove Forest, Canal and Chinese Fishing Net, they promised in all in Rs. 2500. It's not a small amount. And then the boat person did not take them any of this places, just made them a round in water and came back. When asked about the site visits, the boat person abused and behaved rude and absurdly with my parents. So this is the way when the elders visit to your place? This is the way you people behave with tourist who have paid you for your service and who are from your own country, what you would be doing with foreigners?

Waste management, dirty bathrooms. Very expensive. Usually ride is for 1.5hrs.they will say there are plants blocking the path and will ride only for 30mins. Big scam. 2.5.k waste

Highly disappointed- if u did any backwater ride before, then please don’t go for it. They charged us 2000 for two ppl for 1 hr ride.

Its a tourist trap.one hour boat ride costing 2500 makes no sense.the water is full of weeds and when boat passes through it, it releases insects and mosquitoes in the air, surrounding you throughout.

There is a tea and snacks shop, the lady there made tea specially for my parents and she did not charge any extra money and excellent tea. MUST TRY THIS TEA!

They charged 3500 for 2 person for 1and half hr boating.water stinks and cant bear the loud noise of speed boat.nothing to watch they show some 5 star hotels and few mangroove trees. I dont recommend this even if its free of cost.like others said its tourist trap.

Best backwaters ride in Kochi where they cover 14 Km and you can watch varieties of birds and of course, the Chinese fishing nets! Thank you Lijin chetta, you made it a memorable ride!

DO NOT GO for this Tourist Trap -. As soon as you reach Fort Kochi, Tuk tuk drivers will tell alot of good things about this place & take u far to Blue Marine.

There is nothing to see & it is waste of Time, Money.

We paid 1700 via auto driver & it is still not worth it even 500

It is a big time scam and are cheats. Our boat didn't have petrol and stopped in the middle. Even midway after filling the petrol, the boat didnt start and they were not ready to give alternate ride. Big time cheats. Wasted our time and money. Please beware of this cheating company.

Please don't visit it's a tourist trap they will show nothing as compared to the price which they are charging. They were asking 4000 just for a small ride in the backwater. Worthless avoid visiting here

Highly unsafe, in deep waters around 15 feet, they don’t provide life jackets. It’s not worthy 2500rs. Better alternatives in kochi and allepy. Not much scenic view as they say.
