Having followed the instagram page of Byhand for several months, while I was visiting Kochi I did not want to miss out on the opportunity to visit this store!
Walking into the store, you’re met with a very welcoming staff that is ready to answer any questions/query that you have, top notch collection of unique items of clothing- they have everything- from beautiful salwars and dupattas to gorgeous sarees, kids wear, menswear, you name it!
The entire experience was of such high standard that it made me want to return again before we left the country but unfortunately couldn’t due to time constraints.
Their online and offline services were impeccable- would highly recommend this shop to everyone!

I always wanted to try BYHAND by hearing their product quality and unique designs. I was too excited to buy the cotton kurtha from byhand and brought the kurtha on February month. And with first wash the cloth started loose it's stiffness and faded. Now the material is like saggy and the kurtha looks soo ugly. It was soo lovely when I brought. And I have followed the washing instructions directed by the store staff. I brought it from padivattom store and it's costed me 2800 rs for the kurthi. I wanted to raise a complaint and fix my dress. But couldn't find any option in their site.

This is a blazer and formal dress I wore to my U. S.citizenship oath ceremony, representing the duality of my life. This was made out of the iconic Kerala Kasavu handloom material, which was actually my mother's sari of over 15 years. The By Hand team sourced fine quality blazer lining material to support the Kasavu material.

I actually came in to the shop, just because I wanted to wait for someone else for fooding, but saw a great collection of sarees and couldn't resist. And I actually decided to buy one particular saree, but one of the employees told me that this saree would look great on me, and did a demo drape as well, and upon his words, I purchased it. Yesterday I wore it for a function, and received super-duper comments! Thank you so much!

We found this shop quite accidentally. After dining from Beyondburg, we were coming out of the parking lot and just then we noticed this shop. At that very moment, we got this weird feeling- "come lets go and check it out". We just followed our instinct and went there. Wow.just wow. How come we missed this shop for this long? ! We have been living in Palarivattom for the past 2 years and we have not so far noticed this shop.

We roamed through all sections. Huge collection of dresses, sarees and kurtas. All unique designs. Customization is available. Home decor and Accessories are also available. Designer Sruthy was very helpful. She helped us in customizing the dresses. She even allowed us to visit the fabric godown and stitching unit which was located underground. I ordered customized dresses for my wife and daughter. Great ambience. Overall we were very happy and we would be visiting this shop more often.

I visited this showroom last month and was happy to see their collection. Stark different from any ethnic boutique store. Each piece spoke a beautiful story. The designs elegantly hand woven. A totally different first time experience made me visit the shop again this month. They customised my wear within minutes. Very happy with their customer service as well.

Good collection and nice showroom. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. There is good collection of clothes and other handcrafted things. With the discussion i made with staff i can understand that the clothes are very eco-friendly and handcrafted. I don't know how much it is true. Anyway i like the experience and it is very economical also.
