Cafe Coffee Day

Don’t waste your hard earned money on CCD here. Their reputation is really bad. Whenever you do an online order, they swindle you on quantity and quality. A cold chocolate that I ordered came with 50% broken ice cubes (I didn’t even get a straw though I asked for cutlery) - this gives the illusion that there’s a lot of quantity but the drink itself is actually very less. I basically paid INR 300 for ice cubes. Also whenever I’ve ordered flavoured cappuccino or latte, it appears and tastes like plain milk. It literally looks like they have provided a glass of plain milk for INR 250+. Vending machines give better coffee for just INR 20. The instant coffee I make at home tastes better than this and doesn’t cost a bomb. There’s art to making coffee and baristas know this, this is what CCD charges a premium for. Cappuccino needs a certain layer of froth, latte art - none of this comes when you order it online - although it can and should come like that. They only swindle you when you order online - not when in-cafe.
When you order online, It’s like this is not made by a trained barista (which is what you are paying so much for). This is pure swindling and not simply “shrinkflation”. I have never seen CCD to have too bad a reputation like this, but these guys are looting customers for profit, and giving back nothing of value in return. At this rate I doubt if they’ll run for long. If then can’t do ethical business, they should just shut shop and sleep at home. Watch out and avoid this outlet. As a big fan of coffee, I find this very disheartening when a renowned coffee shops does malpractices, but it needs to be called out. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Worst experience ever! Since there was an complaint with the ice maker they made us wait for around 40min and the drinks served was also too bad in taste compared to other ccd's, never ever recommending this place ever again, not worth the money and experience

Barely manageable. They place has a run down look. Toilets are bad. Only once person serving in

Near NH, enough parking, inside seating are, good ambience, but qc not working, no fan. Coffee machine not working.

One of the best places to hangout. Could have been reasonable with the rates for more customers can come.

The only stopover between walayar and thrissur for a good coffee with a good ambience to take a short break from your drive and relax.

Great place, spacious with nice ambience.apt location.food and beverages are of the same standards of any cafe coffee day outlet.a nice place at Palakkad to drop in and hang out with friends.

Worst experience. Stopped by for evening coffee.first staff forget about my order. Waited for 30 mins. Loud mobile music played by staff is really disturbing and irritating.staff fighting and arguing with each other.
