Cafiya Restaurant

Went in for a brunch apart from us there were only one family dining in but still attended after 10 to 15 minutes.and then made me wait for another 15 minutes and brought me the wrong order again i waited for 20 minutes and left with an empty stomech

Worst experience I have to share, last day for breakfast I had porotta and beef fries from there. Ordered beef fries was something like roast beef and most of the pieces were bad, porotta was stale and chewy, the serving plate was broken and the plate on which the beef fries was served was broken. Black dirt was also caked at the bottom. The table was placed near the washroom without any curtains so you can actually see the spitting and snoring, no one has a thought that the noise in the kitchen and shocking the staff is difficult for the customer outside, there was a young man working in the morning he was trying his best but couldn't, there were a few tables at that time, a great game at the cash counter He was playing, and if he lends a hand, the incident will happen very easily. I complained that I ordered tea and did not get it.

I ordered a 60 ruppee meal from here. At first i got a dirty plate, then i told them to bring me another clean plate to have my food. Then the rice, sambar, meen curry, thoran, achar. Everything was so little in quantity and i asked for more curry which they gave me.

Dining was so poor, with flies all over the place. The furniture and the lighting is decent. Last week i had an Al-Faham from here. The chicken was not cooked properly and had blood remains inside the leg piece of the chicken. The mayonnaise was pretty good. The Butter nan was so rubbish, it felt like a mainstream maidha chappathi with no flavours.

This is a spacious restaurant located at the Pantheerankave Junction.
The problem that we faced with this place is that it's not cleanly maintained. Dust seems spreaded across the chairs and Tables. Spider webs seen on walls. Food also was not that tasty.

As a local i most of time eat food from cafiya in special occasion.they are reliable and they deliver food.my personal favorites are the Alfaham and vegetarians curries such as chilly gopi, panner butter masala.this hotel has been in pantheerankavu for a long time. The Restaurant has a great ambience and a second floor which is ac which can also be booked for special occasions.i will recommend you to try cafiya its a good family restaurant in pantheerankavu.

Very bad food.
They are serving ugly and damaged old foods.
We realized that they are getting penalty and notice from food safety department.

A regular breakfast customer, as on my way to Mangalore from Cochin. For Non Veg breakfast lovers, this is the right place. Decent ambience and good people too.

Overall ambience: OK for non-vegetarian lover family. Food quality: Ordered "Kuzhi Mandi" It didn't taste good. Seemed healthy to me since it had to be traditionally made in pot under soil. Boiled chicken with bland taste. Quantity is enough for 3/4 but rice is also not spice as Indians want. We had to order Chickoo shake to neutralize the taste. Price: Not cheap but not expensive.
Overall: Can be visited but don't order the one we did.
