I wanted a custom birthday cake for my son and approached many other established bakers in ekm with the reference design from Pinterest. Most of them turned me down and others charged too much. Cake Hut was the only place that booked the order at once and the custom design cake was 'a peice of cake' to them

Very bad customer serviceWhenever my Dad and I would visit, the staff at this store would be in various businesses or in front of the shops next door. This trend is seen not once or twice but many times. A place that doesn't value customers. Customers are treated very badly. If I want to write a review here, 1 star would be enough.but they don't deserve even that one star

I paid the money then i have recalculated thr price its a big disaster on cake hut. People are getting cheated through website prices. They charged me an extra of 100 rs claiming with their own brochure prices on cakes. In a 2 minutes of time they changed the price on cake. Service manager too Jeopardize with the complaint register form rather than solve the issue.

My favorites from cakehut are ALMOND CHOCOLATE & ITALIAN HONEY.on 8th August I bought a Almond chocolate for my mother's birthday. It was not of the same taste and texture. I had informed the same to the shop and within 10 min their manager called up and I told my feedback. He took my address and send me a cake within 3hrs. I am highly impressed with their customer care. You guys had taken it to a different level of customer satisfaction.

My delivery location was out of town.but they went the extra mile to deliver it promptly. Needless to say their cakes are yummy

They have chocolate truffle rainbow, butterscotch, red velvet cake, black forest, white forest, double chocolate, mango cakes, every cakes puffs both veg and non veg chocolate mousse, samoosa, sandwich, chiken meat etc chicken roll meat roll. Seating isnt available. Very delicious food. Other cakes and crumbs available no cool drinks only drinking water available had many cakes but cake hut is the most special one. They have cakes available in both half and one kgs preference is to customers. No parking facilities. Online fast rrely. Very fast cake delivery to home. Very genuine staffs.price is lower than others but tastes better than any other hotel. I strongly recommend it. Thank you

It is one of the best cake shop in kaloor. Their pricing of items are also very moderate and not very expensive. And their cake are also good and the behaviour towards customers is good.

Irresponsible.
Paid whole money in the morning 10 for a strawberry cake and they promised to deliver by 4: 00 pm. We kept waiting for cake until 5 and after long repeated missed calls, they picked up and may be realized that they missed the order. And started giving absurd reasons such as tyre puncture and delay in contacting another branch etc. People expect to get these things on time to celebrate the occasion with loved ones. Apparently they value only money. Finally they delivered the cake at 7: 00 pm after our celebration.
Shame on you guys for ruining a child's birthday

There are various other places in the city that sells much better cakes. Staff at the store are very unprofessional.

I have been a customer of cake hut for the past 4 years and must have ordered atleast 12-15 cakes during this period. Over the years cake hut has continuously increased their prices, which would have been fine had their cakes maintained the quality. Sadly, its not been the case. As years pass by, I feel the owners are concentrating more on profits/expansion with less focus on the cake itself. I bought a double chocolate cake on 31.08.19 and as has been the case last couple of times, the cake was disappointing. It didn't taste that good and the adults at home didn't eat the cake after their first helping. Why? Because the cake had maybe 10-20% cake with 80-90% being only cream. And the cream itself was not good. Was so disappointed and embarassed. Since the kids love cream, thankfully they finished the cake. Inspite of the deteriorating experience at cake hut over the past 3-4 orders I still stuck to this place. But not anymore. The last 3-4 orders, red velvet, praline-butterscotch, chocolate truffle and now double chocolate all were average or below average when compared to the earlier standards of cake hut. I used to look forward to birthday celebrations at home just to eat their cake. I had crossed over to cake hut from bread world. Now have to find another place for my future cake orders. And to think I drove from Perumbavoor to Kaloor in the horrible Saturday traffic just to buy this cake. Frustrati.
