A Refreshing Culinary Experience in Changanacherry

During my recent visit to Changanacherry, I had the pleasure of dining at Calicut Cafe. The ambiance of the cafe is warm and welcoming, with a decor that beautifully captures the essence of Kerala's rich cultural heritage.

The service at Calicut Cafe was commendable. The staff were attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience.

While the food and service were exceptional, the cafe could benefit from a slightly faster service during peak hours. However, this did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

Tasty food, more than enough quantity, very friendly service with a decent ambience. Nothing not to like. Had a nice late dinner at 23: 00 hrs.

The restaurant is good place to have a late night food. I have tried their alfam, parrotta and beef which was worth the try.

Very poor food, had defected from severe vomiting issues and stomach pain after had mandhi from the particular restaurant

Tried mandi almost frozen meat dry
Mandi have to be given hot if you can't pls remove it Chile chicken is just Tamarind Water with tangy chicken

We had tried there barbeque. It was delicious. Not having a lot of parking as it because in traffic. Bathrooms need to be more clean

One of the best restaurant in changanacherry. Items are available in Very affordable price. Neat and clean, very good ambience. Washrooms also available. We tried porotta, beaf masala, chappathy, biriyani, veg schezwan fried rice etc. All are good in taste. Very delicious foods. Porotta and beaf must try. Staffs are very friendly behavior.

Bought prawns roast. Taste was good prawns was good but instead of gravy there was only curry leaves. There was so much curry leaves in one serving that it was more than enough for a family of four to use at home for atleast 3 days.

Just another ordinary restaurant.nothing special in non veg.for first timers won't recommend.

ഞാനും എന്റെ സുഹൃത്തും കുടി ഇന്ന് വൈകുന്നേരം ഫുഡ്‌ കഴിക്കാൻ കാലിക്കറ്റ്‌ കഫെ എന്നാ ഈ സ്ഥാപനത്തിൽ പോയിരുന്നു.
ഫസ്റ്റിലെ ഞാൻ ഓർഡർ ചെയ്തത് ഫ്രിഡ്രെസും ബീഫും ആയിരുന്നു. വായിലോട്ടു വക്കാൻ കൊള്ളാത്ത അവസ്ഥയിൽ ആണ് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് കിട്ടിയത്. അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ ഞൻ അതു അവിടുത്തെ ചേട്ടനെ അറിയിച്ചപ്പോൾ പറഞ്ഞത് കുക്ക് മാറി പുതിയ കുക്ക് ആണ് പുതിയ കുക്ക്എ ആണ്ന്നെ അതുകൊണ്ട് ക്ഷമിക്കണം പുള്ളി ആയി വരുന്നത് ഒള്ളു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഞങ്ങൾ സാരമില്ല കേറിയതല്ലേ എന്നു വച്ചേ ഓരോ ശമർമ്മ ഓർഡർ ചെയ്തു, അതു വന്നപ്പോൾ അതും കൊള്ളില്ല ചിക്കൻ ഫുൾ കരിഞ്ഞതായിരുന്നു, അത് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞു സ്റ്റാഫുകൾ എല്ലാവരും നാട്ടിൽ പോയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. അപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾ ചോദിച്ചു ഷവർമ മേക്കറും പുതിയതാണോ നാട്ടിൽ പോയിരിക്കുകയാണ് എന്ന്. അതു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉറപ്പായി ഇത് സ്റ്റാഫിനെ മിസ്റ്റേക്ക് അല്ല, ഹോട്ടലിനെ മിസ്റ്റേക്ക് ആണ് എന്ന് ഞങ്ങൾ ബില്ല് പേ ചെയ്തിട്ട് ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ അവർ പറഞ്ഞു ബില്ല് പേ ചെയ്യേണ്ട എന്ന്. ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഇത്രയും മോശമായ ആഹാരം വേറെ എവിടെയും കഴിച്ചിട്ടില്ല

Food was very unhigine and untasty. Most of the ordered food was unable to eat due to its making

Last day, my family had our dinner over here. Food was awesome. We ordered porotta, mixed fried rice, chilly chicken, garlic chicken, Shawai etc. I would say, quality and delicious food at a reasonable rate is what they offer. Good customer service. Good ambience (musical). Highly recommended for both families and youth.

Only con which i see is that, no seperate dining for family, (ie: family above 6 people should find another table) which is not an issue considering the quality of food and the ambience offered.

The Best hotel in Changanassery now. Very nice interior works.quite friendly services and food is so delicious except I didn't tried Chinese.

They serve delicious food with enough quantity. We had chicken biriyani. Customer service is also commendable. Pretty good location. Attractive interiors make the perfect ambience to have the food serves to you enjoyably.

Tasty food and good service! Good restaurant in changanassery. I was driving from cochin to pta & best spot in between to dine. Parcel service was also neat & quick.

I tried the chicken noodle and chicken biriyani from here, both of them was very tasty and delicious️️️️️, but the shawarma need to improve, pls avoid the coriander leaves from shawarma, its not good in shawarma,

An amazing place to dine & discuss! We had our friends meet up here & the experience is overwhelming! We ordered Mojitos, Chicken Schezwan fried rice, AlFaham and shawarma! Tasty & delicious! A must try is their charcoalz! I will suggest CC as a best place to eat in Changanacherry!

No home delivery is available which is a drawback. We bought biriyani today thinking that they have some Calicut recipe. But utter waste. Never had such bad biriyani in the past.
