The perfect place to stay at Munnar…Thanks to Team Camelot for providing the best hospitality. I had a wonderful vacation with my family. The food provided was so great and the morning trekking through their tea estate was totally different experience. I strongly suggest this resort for those who are looking for a place which is calm and relaxing.

Good food. Great ambience. Most friendly hosts. This will be our go to place for all future visits to munnar.

Very beautiful location. Service was good. The food was tasty. Manager Dani tried his best. However, rooms were stinking a lot. No hygiene at all. Washrooms and room comforters were stinking a lot. Damp smell. Bed bugs. No hot water. Road to resort (1.5 kms) were bad. I definitely won't recommend it.

Go only if you have no other options for staying. It's a bit too difficult to get to this place. Approximately 2.5kms stretch leading to the resort is an uphill climb. Your car will climb only in 1st gear, provided it's a good vehicle and the path is not wet.

Excellent location and we had a great stay here. Felt very close to nature. The hospitality was super. Friendly, helpful staffs and management (Feel like family). Food was very tasty. This vacation will be always in our memories for sure. Glad that we chose to stay here.

Camelot is a beautiful resort in the laps of munnar hills, with good ambience and splendid mountain view. Its an
apt place for someone who seeks fresh air and mountain view to relax and a place to forget stress and enjoy life, away from the city lights. Dileep uncle, simi aunty and all other staffs are really helpful & friendly, they treated us like their own family. Trekking through the valley, adventurous activies enjoying the cool breeze are the highlights of this place. Really miss Roxy and Camy (the 2 dogs at the resort). Must place to visit if you are seeking adventure as well as relaxation.

Very high food rate, veg meals cost 400, tv not working.wifi not working in the rooms. No single point of phone signal.lot of lichess in the room.not safe

My family and I recently stayed at Camelot Resort for a two-night get-together vacation, and we had an amazing experience. The private tea plantation property provided us with the perfect getaway to relax and unwind, with stunning surroundings that made us feel like we were in heaven.

The hospitality we received from the host, Dileep, and Simmee was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We were impressed by the delicious food that was served, made with farm-grown vegetables and spices, which added an extra level of flavor.

We also enjoyed a hike to the plantation hilltop, where Dileep's extensive knowledge of the plants, fruits, spices, and tea varieties was fascinating. We saw many things we had never seen before, making it a unique and educational experience.

A paradise-like place. Peaceful! Simmee n Dileep are warm hosts. Their staff are quite friendly and good at their work. Breakfast was awesome. At night we had fish it was Wow! During the morning we viewed mesmerizing scenic beauty.

The tariff and reality is hard to believe, seriously price should be reconsidered. Breakfast is pathetic and need urgent attention.

An excellent property in letchmi estate, Munnar.peaceful and silent.away from the crowds.a must stay resort. You can enjoy the tea plantation and captivating views of the western ghats. Climate is beautiful. Service provided by the staff is excellent. It is a quaint resort located 12 kms (30 mins drive) from munnar town. The last few kms of the approach road could have been better and i would request the owner to make it so.

I would suggest you include breakfast in your stay as the breakfast is exquisite and quite a good spread with local dishes included.

We usually had dinner at the resort. The dinner is a little on the expensive side. It is prepared very nicely and the taste is very good.
However you should tell them in the morning only what time dinner is required as otherwise it will be very late as it is made to order.

The activities included are the morning Trek where Mr Dileep himself takes you on a nice trek around the property

Beware of leeches and wear high socks with shoes.

The property itself is lovely and is located within the tea estate. Sunset is visible from the property.they have a nice games area as well.

The location is good but the restaurant is very expensive as they give very less quantity ant he rooms are old and not so good

We had a great time here. Camelot is a wonderful destination away from town. A beautiful place where we can enjoy the weather and nature. We loved the morning trekking and the heavy breakfast after it. It's really a great place.

The stay was very nice especially the hospitality of Dileep and his wife. If you want to stay away from hustle and bustle, then this is the place. The way to the resort is off-road. You can experience the tea plantation inside the resort. There are other activities also included.

The location is very nice as well as the service.

The stay at Camelot resort Munnar was one of a kind experience. The resort situated on a hill and is surrounded by serene tea garden. It is about 12 km from the main town.there is a last steep uphill drive for about 1.3 km which may be tricky but with experienced drivers it's not an issue. They offer early morning mini trek to view the vast expanse of Munnar and its beauty and also their variety of farm. The staff is very helpful and always at the doorstep for any assistance, with special mention to Mr. Dileep, the owner of this place. Such a friendly person and works dedicatedly towards betterment of the resort.

Would highly recommend this resort for solo and family trip.

Best place to relax. Very quiet amidst beautiful scenery. You could treck to the top of a small hillock inside the property. They have a well maintained functioning tea estate which is open to the guests. A birder's paradise.

Room and bathroom can be bit more luxurious for the super luxury rooms. It seems to be bit old in the sense of current trend and fashion.

The walk inside the resort property was really wonderfull and a great experiance. Especially inside the tea garden and the 360° view point.
We could really feel the climate and the temperature of munnar if we are in Camelot. The extreme temperature to more specific the coldest in munnar.

Good nature view from the place. Gypsy trekking was good. Fruits garden and some view points are really enjoyable. Spacious parking.

However, the road to the place is little off road, so be cautious. I felt like food is very much expensive. In terms of our room, I expected much better facilities for a luxurious room. I came here after watching YouTube videos, felt like overhyped the place.

Also, please note that there is no Wifi on rooms, phone coverage are limited except for BSNL & Jio.

Its a nature friendly place to visit. The food was good and charged high. But the stay they provide for the money we give is not at all a worth. The rooms are not at all clean. Only thing enjoyable is the nature and early morning jeep safari which is again charged seperately.

A sweet quiet place away from the rushes of Munnar Town. One who loves to enjoy beauty of Munnar with a tint of privacy. Ambience, hospitality by the couple Dileep n Seemee, Food, Rooms, Excellent.

I was stayed in Camelot resort for 2 days.
Resort was good. Even at 2 pm the climate was awesome, full of rain and mist.
If you wanna enjoy with your family in a silent place with full of positive vibe, this is one of the recommended resort. Also I have noticed that the owner Mr. Dileep and his wife is also staying in this resort and I am surprised that they welcoming their client. I didnt see this in any big star rated resort. The route nearby the resort was little bit tricky, while reaching towards the place, our car was stucked in a hilly place and we called Mr. Dileep and ask for help within 15 mins thier staffs reached towards us and thats really appreciatable.
The staffs are very friendly. We feel safe over there.

Placed inside the Letchmi estate, an excellent, awesome getaway destination in Munnar with all strings to the outside cut.
You should take 2 days off, and be here, shouldn't miss the trekking.

Good location. Reachable from munnar town. Nice place for those looking away from crowded town area. Climate is excellent. Free from pollution. Staffs are co operative and owner is always available. Overall a good experience Enjoy the calm silent nature.
NB: Suggetion to owner-Kids above 6 yrs needs additional payment. Would be better if it can be changed to 10 years and above.

Its a very overpriced property which is not worth for money we were charged rs 5500 for one night stay and breakfast included. The ambience was good as the property is located on a hill top and offers a good view of the mountain valley. The staff was polite and helpful. But the food was charged with a very high price than a five star hotel. Even then the food was not upto the mark especially the lunch the provided costs rs 200 for just rice thoran and moru curry, the rice was very watery and also thoran. Also the beef chilly they served for dinner was very chewy and not fresh. Will not suggest this property for anyone when its raining as there are leeches around the property were we are supposed to spend our time with family or friends.

I do not suggest this to anyone. Very bad experience. Average room which they call luxury room which charges Rs. 5500. As it is a hill top, I can enjoy the climate. You do not have to come here for that. There are many other resorts with cheap rates. And the Main thing is The price and quality of the food here is very, very bad. This is the only restaurant that does not offer Raitha Free with a biryani. And they charge for one biriyani (350) + Raitha (110) and pappadam (20) is Rs. 480+gst. All foods are like this. Staying at this resort was a huge loss for me and my family. Let no one else have this experience.

People's who are visiting Munnar must go to Camelot Resort and enjoy the natural beauty of the location. Very affordable and attracting Home stay with delicious food.

Only visit whether the owner of the property is there. Because the staff over there have very poor quality in service. So try to visit in days when the owner of that property is available. I think as of now he is on an all india road trip. So make sure about it! Nature and climate is top notch in winter because it has a higher altitude than Munnar town.

Worst accommodate please I've ever visit and also very costly, it's nearly 15kms out from Munnar city road very worst, no cell phone signal except bsnl, if you get inside we couldn't come out for anything because of the road so we've to order food there itself it's very very costly than 5star hotel when compare to Alibaba restaurant very nice away from 12km, we've make a call and asked for 4 luxury room's for rent, said after coming we can do something for it but they refused done nothing.
It's not at all resort it's only cottage for it this rent is very costly not worth for it so don't choose this lodge (resort) to stay in Munnar

This is a great place to stay and enjoy the natural beauty of Munnar. The entire scenic beauty of Munnar is generalized here. We can enjoy the tea gardens, the hills and the coolness of Munnar.

Its realy a nice stay at Camelot resort i prefer there to stay with my family which made a lotof pleasure the attractive point is thier hospitality

The Resort is very good as per location, mostly who wants to stay surrounded by nature. But sorry to say the food is below average. Apart from that management is very polite and helpful. The sub staff also very good.

Beautiful place. It's 15 km uphill from Munnar city. Takes 45 mins one way on a jeep.

- People who can't live without cellphone. No airtel/voda/bsnl/jio connection. They have a wifi installed in their reception. If you can't function like that, this place is not for you.

- Sightseeing. Since it's a bit secluded, options become less. You'd need a car to reach Munnar or for anything.

We booked this Resort for two nights but said good bye in one night!
Location is just awesome.morning scene from rooms was memorable one but reaching to this location is worst part. No proper roads. You are totally disconnected from world once you reach the place as there is NO mobile network. WIFI only available at reception area which is FAR away from rooms. During night no proper light support provided to take walk in premises. Intercom does not work so every time to place any request we had to walk down the hill up to reception. Very less staff (we could see only 3).

You visit the place.have a look at beautiful mountains and GO.spending night not at all recommendable. Only good if you are group of enthusiastic, experimental Young people. BIG NO if you have KIDS and Senior Citizens.

One of the worst hotel ever booked. There was just one person who was Manager, cook, managed cleaning and other stuff. No wifi in the room just at reception.
Poor breakfast, no fans in the room, even hesitated when we asked for additional water to drink. I would seriously recommend not to book this hotel. The location was good but the hotel was not.

Nature's own paradise

I revisited and stayed at Camelot Resort Munnar with my family in December 2019. This is my third visit in 3 years and everytime nature reveals an altogether new scene.
Pros - The tea gardens have expanded and have become awesome. The food is too delicious and the rooms and service is super. Special mention to the Owners and their pet Camy for their lovely hospitality.
Cons - the approach road is little adventourous.
As a whole a lovely experience.
