The room service was horrible. The toilet commod was not even has a toilet seat, when complained they hesitated to attend it. However by evening changed the room. The complimentary breakfast was below standard. The mess room was not hygenic. Overall experience is not good.

Value for money. Complimentary breakfast was good. Rooms are clean and adequately spacious. The wooden finishing has a premium feel.

Cleanliness needs to be improved. There were bed mites in the bed. Lost our sleep at night. They were good a year before. But now they are not upto the mark. Stayed here for about 3 weeks on 2017 November and stayed recently on September 2019.

The breakfast is good. Staffs are OK. The door is less secure. The overall smell in that hotel is kind of smoky. Lot of room for improvement.

Booked a double room online. Had to change room at midnight as bed& pillows were full of bedbugs (മൂട്ട). Newly allotted room too had bedbugs.had to shift to 3rd room which was ok. Need to carry own towels as the ones provided are used over a long time & yellowish.
Bed, pillows& towels needs to be better maintained.hope the management will take tgese reviews positively & improve

Nice hotel Ac is working good rooms are clean. But in the TV only some channels are coming. Parking facility is there you can pay here by card or cash or by online. Restaurant is also avalible here. Hit water facility is there but not upto the mark.

A fake audition for a Malayalam film was conducted here in this hotel. All of the people who associated with this fake project were mind-blowing frauds. I won't recommend this hotel for ladies and those with families as very unpleasant and immoral things did happen here. I'm refraining from getting into the details. I'm keeping it short and simple as this is a public forum! Kindly avoid your stay here!

Not upto the expectations. The rooms were just ok. The furniture are very old. The food was not very good either. The ambiance is not good enough to give a better rating.

Book via Oyo and the hotel with charge you extra, otherwise they won't let you in. Front office staffs are not friendly or professional. No uniforms, some casual dress wearing young guys. They don't even know how to treat their guests.

Rooms are ok, not great. Haven't tried food from there.

The hotel is very close to the main road. Parking is available for vehicles here. The rooms are very spacious and easily accomodate three persons. Bathrooms are neat and clean and utilities are also provided. There's an in-house restaurant available at the hotel and for bookings through online they provide complimentary breakfast also. The breakfast is buffet type and is available from 8: 30 onwards. The staff at reception and housekeeping are all very helpful

Thay gave a room which has no clean linen and full of bedbugs and when complained they changed to other room which also has bedbugs, had a terrible night bite from the bedbugs. They did not gave compensation. Do not recommend this place and not value for money.

Booked an Oyo room here for 3 people. Stayed for approximately 1.5 days. Rooms were comfortable but the bathroom did not have the required amenities like soap and shampoo. Had to ask for them in the reception. In general, the staff is nice and the service timely. Also it's close to the Kozhikode Beach which is top 5 beaches in the city. It's 4.5 kms from the hotel. THEY ALSO HAVE COCKROACHES.

Well arranged and calm place.washroom was neat and clean but bad odour was coming from linen i.e from pillow. All other was ver good.

We stayed in that hotel. But the hotel room was really bad. Compared to other rooms in oyo, it was congested. Facilities were extremely limited. Bathroom is also not good. But I'd like the praise the breakfast that they provide us as complimentary for that we are giving them 2 stars, oreos it will be a single star. But the rate was low compared the other oyo rooms in calicut.

We have booked 4 Rooms through MakeMyTrip (Check-In 06 Jul 2019). But when we reached Hotel, they refused to give rooms saying that they have some issues with OYO and can't give rooms for MakeMyTrip offer price. Payment already done at the time of booking. Also Hotel staff behavior is not good. There is no option to give "Zero Star" hence I give "One Star".

Good location and rooms. Room waste bin not cleared. I felt lack of professional experience in staffs

We booked 2 rooms in this hotel through Makemytrip and we called hotel around 5pm to confirm about our booking and reaching late by 11pm. But once we reached at 11pm, the hotel staff made a simple comment "room is not available". With an elderly person, family and 2 kids at 11pm anyone can understand the situation you face during midnight without a room. Hotel staff was not helpful at any stage and they simply asked us to call OYO to make some other arrangement. OYO was not able to make any arrangements till 12: 30 but at last our driver helped us to get another hotel around 1am. Making this note so that it will be helpful for others in future. With my experience don't ever trust if you have a confirmed booking at this hotel.

Stay was comfortable but service was not satisfactory. There was a problem vd TV and asked for help. No one came and I reminded. Still there was no response. Then I went out and told them to get it right before I come back. I came back after 4 hours and no action was taken.
Next morning I asked for drinking water bottle, even after one hour no one brought water. I went to reception and told I was going outside to buy water.
When I came back the receptionist explained that they served gave the bottle of water in another room, by mistake.

This is situated opposite Hotel Maharani on Taluk Road, Calicut. Good hotel with limited parking facility. Staff are polite. Rooms are good and hygienic.

Pathetic experience.stay away. These guys put their rooms for sale on make my trip with great offers. I paid through make my trip, 4 days before my stay. When I entered the reception with the booking confirmation from make my trip, they refused to give me a room. They said that they never gave any rate discount on mmt. I tried reaching out to mmt customer care and after 3 hours of discussion, they had no way left rather than to refund my booking amount. I asked the reception guy, why he didn't intimate me earlier if they cannot agree with my mmt booking. Refusing to give room when you arrive for check in is the ultimate form of disrespect which a customer can face. Finally after 3 hours of ugly talk in the evening, we had to find another hotel. The most funny part of it was that I got a mail from mmt saying "hurray, we resolved your issue under 4mins"

I booked a room in OYO for three people at a price of Rs. 1350 and since we were 4 in number we paid an extra Rs. 500 at Check-in. The overall ambience was good but smoky smell was present in the lift as well as our corridor.
The room we got actually was meant for 2 people only. When I asked, we got an extra bed and when I said we were 4, we got one more. 4 beds were too much for the small room. Cleanliness, furniture, A/C were good ; except the fact that the extra bed we got had bedbugs. That made my sleep disturbed. Also the flush of the toilet was not properly working.
We had ordered two tea at about 5.50 in the evening and was replied that those will be available only after 6. At 6.30 we called again and asked for two teas ; one without sugar and one with. At about 6.50 we received the order. Both were with sugar.
Complimentary breakfast had limited options and there too no tea without sugar was available.
Overall there is very much scope for improvement.

Rooms are spacious neat and clean. Located in a calm place and just 1 km away from bus stand. Breakfast is very average. Overall value for money

Standard hotel. Arrongant staff and bare minimum facilities. Good for an overnight stay but priced high for the facilities.

It's over crowded, however stay is average. Old furniture, small rooms. Don't go for rooms with breakfast.

Good for short and quick stays.comfortable and affordable (i used coupons and offers ofcourse) but i was well satisfied.though food options are limited it seems.only breakfast is complimentary.

Great place. Great location. Decent rooms with clean toilets. They don't have a restaurant. But you can order through Dwight or uber eats. It's a nice place to stay when you are in Calicut.

Gud and economical. Complimentary break fast is normal and limited varieties. Restaurant facility not available. Ten.minutes walk to Rahmat hotel where to you can get delicious biriyani and porotta.

I booked this hotel through OYO. It was clear in the pictures of the room, that the room had two large beds, but when we were disappointed to see only a single large bed. Other than that the furnishings seemed to be pretty decent.

But its management was inept. The complimentary morning buffet breakfast ran out well before 9 AM, even though they would ask for room number to each guest who comes for breakfast. A good number of families had to wait for a long time for breakfast. There is simply no excuse for this, since they would have known about the number of guest at the night itself. This incident would have been forgotten by all, but for a rude staff member who wouldn't agree that they had made a mistake.

The front office personal were hardly welcoming and all of them had this dead pan face. It was if, I had to pay extra to see them smile. All my interaction with them, even the last one, had ended up like this: "You would be checking out by 5 PM, so you would have to pay Rs 100 extra per hour after 12 PM.sir. " Goddamnit, I had agreed to this, a day before I even set my foot in Kozhikode.

Although the hotel ticks all the boxes (amneties, cleanliness), somehow it felt that the hotel lacks a soul.

Good service and food. Great ambience especially the dining area and lawn. Clean toilets and bedsheets. No disturbances during the stay. Reasonable pricing! Friendly atmosphere. No extra or hidden charges. Worth the price! Pleasant experience. But doesn't permit unmarried couples and people with local ID proofs.

Rooms: unclean, linens stained, window doesn't have lock nor grill - so insecure, pillow covers had grey stains.

Bathrooms: used tongue blades were left astray, when asked the room boy he said guest forgot, there were insects inside bath room and cockroach near closet. Hot water wasn't provided on 10 Feb.

Check in - took 30 minutes. I had called priorly to inform that our flight would land at 9 and we would reach only by 10. Despite that we had to wait for half hour

Services - horrible. Rude staff. Complimentary. Water bottles weren't provided. When we called for water we were asked to pay bill for water figuring checkout. We told them we had 2 rooms for 2 days and hence we are entitled to 4 bottles in toto. But they insisted on paying for 2 bottles since we called and requested for water. The girl in reception, who was exceptionally rude and hostile, told us that they keep water bottles only when they clean during routine room service and that they do such a room service only when requested by guest. So our calling them for water bottle is apart from room service and so we will be charged. This is some retarded policy existing only in this particular foolish hotel and has to be reprimanded.

Breakfast: the table cloth over which glasses were inverted and kept had brown stains. Sambar was being poured into the bigger container in a callous manner that it was spilling outside on the table as well as splashing on to the clothes of people near by.

Safety: the windows don't have grill and the windows cannot be locked. So the room is kinda unsafe.

When I summarise, I feel such hotels should be taken out so that customers aren't troubled. Wouldn't ever want to come back. Ki

We stayed our first night in India in this little hotel. We had been a little bit deceived as the notes were very good in the place. Nothing extraordinary, nothing bad neither. A hotel without any charm but rather clean.
We were with 2 children in the room 1 in an extra bed, 1 with us. An experience!
The area is crowded and the walk towards the sea not so nice as the roads are really busy and polluted. It is a real Indian city!

Hotel is good, if you like Kerala food it was good, but you are from other state you feel little bit congestion.totally malbar hotel is good

Very poorly maintained. The bedsheets and blankets were I stayed were not clean. The floor boards were loose. The door lock wasn't working properly. The service was poor and unclean. Also I had booked for a deluxe twin bed, on arrival found out that they didn't have one such room. Instead of giving us a deluxe, they gave us a normal twin bed, we ended up paying for the deluxe itself. Thus inconsistent of their orders and services.

Very bad. Old rooms. No hot water @all time. Only for few hours in the morning and night. We have to call reception for getting hot after. Blanket also dirty. Reception also very poor. Never recomend for any one. I have paid 2000around.ac sound will not let you sleep. Old ac

Its a budget hotel. Facilities are ok. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good place for a days stay or so if you are Kozhikode town. Not a great place for prolonged stay.

Very nice hotel, good service, neat and clean, free buffet breakfast with number of options, worth of money that reasonable rent

Extremely bad hotel. Bathroom was not clean, switches in the room were not working properly, staffs were very unprofessional. I booked this hotel after checking the ratings but was disappointed.

Beware of inspects in suite room. If we are reporting it to staffs there behavior also very rude even they are not ready to visit and check the issue.
