Dr. Harrish and his entire team are beyond amazing. Be it the labour room or the post labour room, everyone was exceptional. The nurses in the room were also beyond amazing in handling the newborn and mother.

Last five days i was admitted in Caritas hosital for a surgery in E N T Section. It was a wonderfull exeriance from the security staff to Administration deartment. E N T Doctor and assistants (Special thanks to Dr. Supriya madam & assistants) are very helpfull and explained each & every thing perfectley. After surgery i admitted in cardiology 8th floor. There Sr. Jetty and all staff & ward secretary Rosiline sister are help and guide me perfectly. I also thankfull to I C U staff. Then cleaning section /canteen and catering staff good too. I had a good experience with carithas gynecology and neonatal services. Had a heart warming experience at Carithas hospital delivering my first baby. Through out the whole saga, the thoughtful support and encouragement we received from the doctors, nurses and even the support staff was truly exceptional. When we were admitted for delivery, every step of the process from admissions to the labor room and post delivery, we were guided with great patience. Dr Reji (Gynec), a very jovial person helped me be at ease through an exceptionally tough period. Dr Sajan and the neonatal team took great care of our baby during those crucial 24 hours, patiently answering our questions. The nursing staff is very capable, knowledgable and patient. The food felt homely and service was prompt. Overall our stay was very comfortable at Carithas hospital. Highly recommended.

Me and my family were admitted with covid on sept 29,2021 in BM 7 b in caritas hospital.we want to express our sincere gratitude to the nursing staff who are in these wards for more than a year with PPE kit and doing a tremendous job. Spl thanks to Sisters Liji sabu, Bini, Beena, Sheena, Priya and all other sisters there.
Also expressing our appreciation to the house keeping chechis who are cleaning and moping the floors wearing the PPE kit which is a difficult task. Spl mention to the ECG technicians, Xray staff, dietician, Babu chettan, kitchen staff all doing a wonderful and kind service in the corona care unit. Let me give a big salute to all these Corona Warriors.

My dad had a stroke in late August (2021) and he was at Caritas hospital for a month. We received such a great care from the staff there. The service was excellent and we are very happy that our dad received such good care. The doctors and nurses were very kind and considerate.

This is my second review about caritas Hospital it's about pediatric department. First of all am a new mother and on top of that am a mother of a preterm boy so I hope everyone can relate my level of anxiety. Dr. Sunu (pediatrician, caritas) she give ear to all my crazy doubts and explains everything soo well with lots of patience, She is literally my lifesaver now. She tries to understand our feelings and give lots of mental support.

Finding a gynaecologist for your regular pregnancy check ups isn’t a difficult task as there are a plethora of gynaecologists out there. However, zeroing in on the best isn’t a cakewalk. If you’re in and around Kottayam, look no further than Doctor Reji Divakar from Caritas hospital. Even if you’re further away from Kottayam, I’d still strongly recommend him. If we have come all the way from Chennai just for his consultation, you’ll understand why I strongly recommend Doctor Reji. It’s not because there aren’t good doctors in Chennai. It’s just that when a lot of your friends recommend just one name unanimously, you wouldn’t want to give it a miss, do you? Despite being the best gynaecologist, he has that aura of optimism and affability always that makes him stand out from the rest of the doctors; he oozes so much confidence in you so that all your fears are at bay and you can rest assured that you and your foetus are in safe hands after each and every OP visit. Most importantly, the reason why I write this is not because someone asked me to do but because I wouldn’t want someone to miss out on the best gynaecologist in the town. He’s simply a cut above the rest and I fully vouch for it.

It's not like other hospitals or some clinics even it is crowded most of every time we don't want to stand in queue for soo long. Doctors are friendly and well educated. Better time to visit is on late morning or early noon (11: 00 - 01: 00)

Have been here for multiple times for check up of my spouse. Well maintained, process oriented and good staff and doctors. Canteen is good too.
Only part where you may get stuck is with the layout.which takes some getting used to.

My mother in law was taken to caritas hospital on 20.9.21 midnight with acute stomach pain and was in casualty, then transferred to general ward (first paediatrics, then to neuro science), we kept on asking for a room, but always got the reply that you will get it when someone get discharged, I even asked for an AC room, if normal one is not available, meantime a new patient who was just been to hospital on 23.09.21 and was in the adjacent bed got a room within hours of her admission, my wife who was the bystander had to run between the nursing station and IP admission office begging for her mother's admission, at last she got a room at 9.30 night on 23.09.21. This was a totally embarrassing situation for us, never expected from a reputed hospital like you.

Secondly, now we are sitting in front of CT scan room for her scan since last 4 hours, very less patients here for scanning, still don't know the reason why we are not being called for test, she has completed medicine in take almost 30 minutes before, still no body is bothered to respond to my concerns. This is unjustifiable, very disgusting

We consulted dr.reji sir (gynaecologist and obstetrician) in caritas hospital for pregnancy related issues.dr.reji sir treated us very nicely, he given us nice motivation. Always he tries for normal delivery. 100% no doubt he is a great obstetrician, always recommend Dr.reji sir for pregnancy related issues. Thank you so much sir.

We brought our 80 years old father with multiple vertebral fractures and no hope of getting him back as he was before admitting at Caritas Hospital. We were so fortunate by the grace of Almighty that we got our father back perfectly to his normal life definitely owing to the treatment at the Neuro Surgery unit under Dr. Ipe George. After treatment for 12 days my father started walking gradually with support and now (after one month) without support. The excellent treatment of other doctors like Dr. Sheela Mary, Dr. Surya, Dr. Dileep Issac, and the judicious caring of the entire nursing team contributed to his quick recovery. The exceptional logistic support and services of the management (including finance, housekeeping, room service by Canteen) of Caritas Hospital made our stay at hospital stress free and comfortable. My family and myself deeply indebted to the Caritas Hospital.

Apart from a review, we would like to take this forum to thank our God's representatives and the angels of Caritas hospital.
We started our journey with Caritas hospital in August 2020 with the Gynec department and continuing, but now closely with pediatrics and in between, we have visited neonatology for 3months.
Our gratitude and appreciation cannot be described in few words regarding Dr Harish Chandran and Dr Parvathy Das. I consider doctors attitude and care as the first and primary medicine for a patient which is well given by them. Also in the case of pregnancy especially in complicated cases, it is the doctor's experience and knowledge that matters at each stage. I'm so grateful to God that I could choose Dr Harish for my consultation and I strongly believe that I got my baby alive despite my complications because of his foresight and timely decisions. Also, I'm so grateful to Parvathy madam for the way she convinced, console and guided me at every stage of my pregnancy and postpartum.

The next stage was Neonatology. As a new parent that too of a preterm baby, our anxiety was at its peak. Dr Sajan Thomas and his wife are taking great care of the babies in NICU and to calm down and guide new parents from day 1 onwards they receive the baby. Nurses in NICU are taking care of our babies as their own under the guidance of "NICU Dad and Mom" (Dr Sajan Thomas and Dr Deepa). Can't describe them in other words. They are literally our babies "NICU Dad and Mom".

When our baby attained sufficient weight and age we started consulting Dr Sunu John in the pediatrics department. Our anxiety and confusion grow exponentially even though our baby is growing linearly. Sunu madam is taking a great effort and showing lots of patience to clarify our questions and confusions. I strongly believe rather than giving some medicine to babies, it is more important to guide the parents correctly and timely at every stage especially new parents, she is taking great effort to do that.

Also, like to mention about angels even though I don't know all of their names. Their smiling faces (even though the smile is not fully seen with masks now) and caring attitude keep us comfortable at the time of hospitalizations and check-up visits. Even though waiting time is very irritable these angels calm, cool and effort to attend to everyone makes us continue waiting despite our illness.

The only cons I would like to mention about Carithas hospital is its waiting time. Even though we pre-book appointments waiting time is too high. I would like to say that the admin board should find a way out for this long waiting time.

The service provided by C Care is excellent. Dr. Babu K M and Sr. Gemini gave me personal care and help. Thanks team C Care.

I am Dr. Anuja Anna Varghese, Consultant Dermatologist working in kochi. My first delivery was done in Caritas hospital under Dr. Reji. I had very good experience with Caritas hospital. This time I told my husband Dr Vineeth, that I want to do the delivery in Caritas hospital. Dr. Reji is very attentive, dedicated and helps us alleviate all our worries. Since I had complicated obstetric history we were also very careful this time. Dr. Reji used to give us sufficient and convenient timing for antenatal consultation. Things got a little more complicated in the later part of third trimester, I got admitted and had to start treatment for complications. Dr. Reji assured us that it will be taken care of. Finally I had to undergo normal delivery preterm. But everything went well with me and baby getting discharged on the 4th day post delivery. We are extremely thankful to Dr. Reji for the attention and support he has given us throughout the pregnancy time. He happily answers our queries on our call. I also thank all the staff of B ward, labour room and especially the staff nurses and students of B ward 4th floor where we stayed who has given us all the support we needed. Visited many times before.but first time in c-care. Overall good experience. Didn't take much time in any department

I had covid and hence Pneumonia was in critical condition. Caritas has a good team of doctors who took care of each and every problem supported by experienced nurses with dedicated service and modern medicine. So I was back to normal in just 4 days and got discharged. I gratefully thank the hospital doctors, nurses, other staff and management in bringing me back to normal. May God bless the hospital function and save life of many people.

Got 1st dose C19 vaccine. Good service.
Guidance can be improved. And free medicine (like paracetamol) can be given for the vaccinated people with suggestion to use.

I am writing this review to heart-fully thank and appreciate Dr Reji D (Department of Gynaecology) and his team (Dr Thankamma, Nrs Nimisha, Nrs Biji, Nrs Sreevidya, and Nrs Rebecca), for their continuous support and guidance during our pregnancy. In particular, I would like to thank and be grateful to Dr Reji for his selfless service in taking good care and comforting the women who are expecting.
More than being a renowned gynaecologist, it is Dr Reji's humanly nature and ability to put himself in couples shoes that makes him unique. You could ask him any question, anytime (I mean it, 24 x 7), and he is there to make you comfortable and provide the guidance. There were instances when we had to wake him up in the middle of the night, Dr Reji presented himself with the same pleasant smile and cool. In our case, I and my spouse (Dr Lekshmy) were expecting a triplet, which was considered high-risk due to the multiples. With constant support, guidance and appropriate diagnosis at various time intervals, we (My spouse, Dr Lekshmy, in particular) aced it. We are a happy couple with 3 newborns. We whole heartedly point our fingers at Dr Reji, for anyone who is thinking about consulting a good gynaecologist to make their pregnancy journey a full success.
I would like to thank Dr Sajan Thomas (Department of Neonatology) for taking utmost care of our newborns.
Though we are not aware of the names and faces (thanks to covid and the mask culture) of all the nurses in the B-ward, G-ward, cardiology rooms, and in the neonatology unit, this review wouldn't be complete without whole heartedly thanking them.

I m very pleased with the services providing in caritas hospital especially the Gastrology department.

I have a small suggestion. If you can provide more social distancing method it would be much appreciable.

Totally unprofessional behavior from the Insurance staff at Caritas, they follow a 'working in silo' model with no Logic what they do. I have two experiences recently from them.

One for my wife's delivery and one for a medical checkup.

We asked them for a good room since we had the insurance coverage but they provided a below average room with dirty bathroom even the bed was laid under a projected wall mounted cupboard which was very inconvenient.

On the day of discharge i.e. 4th day we were waiting for the insurance settlement and the payment. When we asked the nurses about the discharge, they told they can discharge only after getting the clearance from their insurance team. We waited from morning till 3 pm they never called us for the settlement. By 3pm i went to the insurance office to enquire, Only then they told every thing was ready and its just that I have to make the payment for the amount which is not covered by insurance.
An example for they don't value others time and money. We had a better insurance service at Matha hospital for the first child.

Secondly I did a medical checkup.

They told they will sent the reports within 7 days (paid for courier too) but I had to call on the 13 th day to remind them as it was due for me to make the claim. Now the funny part is that it was sent thru a courier service which have delivery only at Kottayam town, where as my home is 15 KM away from Kottayam.if someone have time to go to Kottayam to collect the documents why couldn't go to Thellakom and collect it directly?

They don't even have a basic common sense or responsibility to check if the courier reaches the address. When I called their customer service the lady's response was that " it was better you could have come to the hospital and collect the reports". If I had the time, will I ask them for sending it thru courier paying the money?

When I asked about the payment, I made she her response was that there is a nominal fees for the processing of documents which I never ever heard from any other hospitals or clinics where I did medical checkups in the past. Now money is gone and they don't have an answer for that, I have to spend a day and petrol to travel to Kottayam to collect the documents now.

The other staffs were really good and helpful

Treatment and nursing care is good.especially doctor Krishnakumar and Surrsh. But today 9.30 A. M doctor discharged me and still waiting for I P bill. (now 2.15 P. M) it is a horrible experience. I think employees are celebrating Onam.

One of the best Hospital in Kerala, especially Gynecology, Neonatology and pediatrics departments from my personal experience. Dr. Dr. Harish - from Gynecology and Dr. Maya from Pediatrics are really helpful and good doctors. Especially their their patience to listen our worries makes us really happy.

When sickness comes for the people of my native, the second name comes to there mind is Carithas Hospital thellakam and the first medical college kottayam. It is run by syromalabar kanaya Catholic Arch eparchy of kottayam. The Hospital offers good medical facility. It has got Oncology institutes and Heart institute with south India's first hybrid Cath Lab. It has got qualified Doctors and Nurses who take good care of the patients. The Hospital maintains good hygiene. This Hospital is a place for common man. It is very visible into op section. It has got spacious parking area and a canteen.

It was a awesome class. Simple and more powerful one. I like mostly the presentation, it was simple and help us to understand the concept very easily. Surely it make me to understand the way a cancer can affect us and how we should take precautions. Thank you so much for this wonderful class.

Gynecology department is the worst you have to wait minimum 3-4 hours to get scanning done. They make you sit with all other persons without following covid 19 rules. Even if you have come early for scanning they just don't care.

Doctors are good, facilities are good, most of the nurses are good but few nurses and few staff at pharmacy and billing are very rude.
My father was admitted in gastro medicine and was asked to pay advance amount. I went to billing and asked them whether there is a system of briefing the treatment procedures and proposed cost. They told that there is a dedicated person in each floor and they will explain all details.
After paying the advance I went back to the room and asked a nurse about this dedicated person. She went off and after sometime I was called to the nursing station. There one nurse (told she was the assistant floor supervisor) literally shouted at me in front of other nurses and other people. When I asked her from where should I get the information regarding the proposed expenses and treatments, she told me to take an op ticket and meet the concerned doctor in the op. Felt literally humiliated in front of everyone.
I believe management is least bothered about the staff behavior.

I had my labour done at Caritas Hospital. It was a high risk pregnancy and I had my c section done at 29 th week. My twin babies were born on Nov 20 th 2020. Our Mother (94 years old) was sick for few days at Mannanam. We noticed that it is difficult to bring out Mom to Hospital especially covid 19 season. My sister contacted the home care system. The Doctor and Nurse team arrived within few hours. Doctor thoroughly checked given drip and antibiotics. Took Blood samples and sent us the result within 4 hours. Doctor assured that we can call Doctor at any emergency situation. My two sisters and two brothers monitoring Mother's condition at home. I am at Singapore and analysing the situation. We are fully satisfied with Home Care System of Caritas Hospital. Thank you.

My experience with Dr Reji (Senior consultant, Gynaecology, Caritas) has been excellent. I find him a very sincere, dedicated and positive vibrant Doctor. His diagnosis has been accurate in my medical cases so far.

3 yrs back I was taken to Caritas in an emergency situation where I had bleeding and severe pain. I had gone to 3 other reputed hospital gynaecologists but their consultation did not help me. Finally Dr Reji diagnosed the medical condition and immediate steps were taken, if not I wouldn't be alive today.
I am blessed with a baby Girl now, Thankful to God and Dr Reji. My experience in the labour ward was also good. I was really anxious since my labour symptoms came all of a sudden and was not mentally prepared. The Nurses there were very pacifying, supportive and helpful. 2 staffs were there to support a patient in labour room with additional nursing care. I am sure my journey wouldn't get this smooth if it was for any other Doctor.

Dr Reji has been pleasant and positive in all my consultations.

Telemedicine facility at Caritas is really helpful owing to this pandemic situation. The team is efficient and quick to deal with technical glitches if any. Totally the services of the staff and Doctors are commendable and exemplary. Thank you @Caritas

I am extremely satisfied with the care and hospitality I received at Caritas hospital, I had a K-wire implanted in my little finger from abroad and it had to be removed at 6 weeks but I happened to be in India at that time due to a family emergency.
