Good display of flora, cacti, orange fruit trees etc.they should start grafted/budded plants for sale. The shop attached has a reasonable collection of spices, souvenirs etc.
It's Worth visiting this place especially for people who love plants. All the plants are beautifully arranged, and it's just mind blowing. There are wide species of plants trees flowers and fruits that I hadn't seen previously anywhere else. There is an entry ticket, but that is not a loss, because their hardwork inside is a lot and the maintenance is just awesome.
Very interesting place if you love flora, so many variety of cactus, in different shapes and colors. It will just amaze you. To spend a good time admiring their beauty weekday visit it suggested. As it gets very very crowded on weekends. If you just want to visit causally, it will take around 30 mins to see all of the place. Parking available.
This place is meant for garden lover. Has varieties of plants like palm, tirucalli, crotons, medicinal etc. Located in the devan kannan hills, kerala. Best place to visit while in munnar.
This garden has varieties of medicinal plants, cactuses, fruits etc. They have arranged everything in a very nice and have many picturesque spots. You can buy items such as, spices, homemade chocolates, squashes etc.from the shop inside the garden. In house restaurant is there. Wash room facility is also there.
This is not about of the botanical garden rather about the restaurant attached to it. Stopped by as it was raining and had a wonderful lunch. Bamboo biriyani was good and the way it was served was excellent, also must try their fish fry.
Garden was very good and neatly maintained. They have their own store and restaurant.we purchases chocolates and spices. The view from the garden was good and parking was also good
This spot is on the way to echopoint. You can plan to reach echopoint or top station and cover this on the way back. A must visit if you are interested to know about cactus and succulents. The botanical gardens house some of the best cactus and succulents. It is well maintained with a green house and has some exotic cactus varieties from Thailand and Argentina as well. There is a restaurant and shop inside the complex too.
Amazing place as a plant lover! Loads of plants to explore. I couldn’t get closer to plants because of a strong net! I only realised it later after seeing a badly damaged cactus with carved etches of peoples’ names why they chose to protect the plants with the strong net. People are not kind to beautiful plants in public places.
Ticket charge is too much expensive per ₹50 Nothing is there Total space only 900 mtr Only different typeof cactus and 2 orange tree only Think before visit. If you want to go washroom with 50 rupees you can choose this place cz there is washroom neat and clean
Here i uploaded all the pictures from there only this
There is a medicine and shopping shop in this place where you can buy homemade chocolates, tea, coffee powder, ayurvedic oils, sarees etc But i would not recommend buying from this place as this is a bit costly
A small garden. They also have a restaurant/canteen near to the garden. Don't visit there. Worst food and high price. Avoid the food from their restaurant
Best place to visit if you are plant lover, and even entry fees are just 50 INR it has wide variety of cactus and other plants including herbs and fruits. And they have even chocolate and herbs store. I suggest not to buy anything as it has higher charges than market charges.
Garden with variety of cactus. Well maintained There is also a fruit garden next to it and a shop that sells tea and coffee products totally recommend it
Nice small garden with variety of cactus. Well maintained There is also a fruit garden next to it and a shop that sells tea and coffee products. This place is on the main route of tourist circuit of Munnar and so hard to miss. The garden is a small one but has a nice collection flowers and decorative plants along with those of cactus and a little bit for fruits. The cactus section and the decorative plant sections are indeed interesting as you get to see some new varieties. There is a chocolate factory, but then these abound all over Kerela.
Many types of cactus here. Apart from that there are varieties of roses and fruit plants. Charges are 50 rupees per adult. There is also a shop inside selling natural spices, home made chocolates and other souvenoirs. Prices were steep but things were top notch quality. Bought rose water, red sandal powder, dried mango, home made chocolates etc. All were really good.
Please dont visit this place its waste of money and time.here there is no nursery or any guide to explain you anything the flowers and fruits are all nice and it take hardwork to maintain.but the attitude is terrible.there is a merchandise shop a guy sitting with a terrible face I asked him about a small doubt to which he was so arrogant even though I politely asked him again he was barking like a dog I think he was hungry and needed snickers better than this place is rose garden or munnar town market place this place is for looting.this was my experience even though I was a local so think if you are a tourist. I usually dont write negative comments but this deserves one
Well this place is nice for sight seeing and the entry ticket costs 50rs per head and there is a shop which have all sorts of things like spices, crafts, chocolates and all. The items are little bit high and averge people couldnt afford it i guess.
It's a small private garden. I have no knowledge of bonsai, cactus etc so I was not able to enjoy this. If you are going to enjoys cactus garden in munnar then go for this. Otherwise I recommend to skip this. Entry fee is 100/-per person. And there is organic local store inside where one can purchase soap, herb oil bottle for hair and lots of things. Also they provide hot chocolate drink but it was not available at the time we went.
I can say it is not an important sightseeing spot.except cactus. Nothing is there.and they are charging high, not worth for entrance and food on their restaurant absolutely cheating and its a trap.food is completely not tasty and it spoiled our health.
On their Spice shop, don't buy here.absolutely cheating with huge price.
The botanical garden is aoread of land and it is so well maintained. It reminded us of the Flower Dome of Singapore and yes, it is far better then the Flowe Dome. Therea re flowers, trees, grass and what not. It is just that it is too big so will be an issue for the elderly who cannot walk that much.
I highly suggest to go up till top garden as the bottom sections are too crowded so the upper sections are relatively quite and peaceful. I could have spend hours sitting in upper area of the garden.
