In desperate need of update place looks tired.
Still had old colonial look a little disappointed.

Casino hotel is really amazing this was my 1st experience the service is amazing
Room was neat and had big space for our standard booking

People who are travelling with there parents it’s recommended

Stay will be comfortable and food is amazing

Had a lovely stay. I must also make a mention about the food served at Casino.everything they served was scrumptious.

The place had great ambience and delicious food. The staffnis really great. The pool services was star rated with kids pool, life Guard Mr Karol was so friendly and helping.

Amazing interior, clean spaces, well maintained, good service from the team, the dinner and breakfast buffet was amazing too.
Choose the location if you want a calm and quiet neighborhood

The hotel in willingdon island is so beautiful. The reception staffs were so nice. Ms Anjana and Mr Vishak were so helpful and went out of the way for our team. The food in tharavadu was delicious. Authenticity in every corner. The durbar hall was huge and we had great meeting. Everyone were so helpful. Really would like to visit again. Thank u casino team.

Amazing colonial-style hotel. The staff was great, the breakfast was so good I would have liked to have two stomachs so that I would take it two times. I highly recommend it. It has spacious and confortable rooms, it is in a quiet area, has a swimming pool. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will return surely.

One of the best places to stay in Willington Island. They have a big swimming pool with depth at 7ft on one side. And have kids pool too.morning buffet breakfast is super.

Absolutely beautiful rooms, great location, lovable staff and amazing food. It's everything you could ever want. Everything is very easily accessible and all of the room services are very much available most of the time. Even if you are not familiar with the language or culture the staff will always be patient and take the time to understand and cater to your requests. It might sound exaggerated but I have never been to a hotel as homely and the hospitality as immaculate as there's.

Overall good could've been great if some issues didn't pop up due to some maintenance activities. Going on a family vacation i wouldn't like issues to bother me where i want the nicest days and memories to take back from the trip

The staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable. The breakfast and lunch buffets were amazing. It was a wonderful stay.

The rooms very neat and clean great hospitality service. Good ambience and especially the staffs Abhilash, Ameen and Antony of ground floor who were so cooperative and friendly in nature. Have a great spread buffet and nice ambience at night with special programs

The overall stay was pleasant and the staff were polite. Truly a heritage hotel and the pricing is reasonable. The downside is the location as Wellington Island as there is not much around.

Nostalgic. Saw this hotel as a very small joint and today a huge structure. Attached to the CGH as well. Earthly divine!

Even when there was ample space in the parking area, the security guard made as park the vehicle outside the gate, and we had to carry the luggage inside. Due to some renovations there was a pungent smell inside the rooms. The seafood restaurant is very mediocre. And the service is not up to the mark, we would expect much better service from a CGH property.

I would like to rate 3 out 5. Room was good. They gave us their only one renovated room. All the amenities were there including fridge, toiletries, tv, and options for laundry and in room dining as well. We went for 2 days stay. Firstly, room allotment took extra 30min. Their checkin time is 2pm and checkout is 11am, which is a disadvantage unless you stay for atleast 2 days. They gave us room by 2.30 pm (said they were cleaning the room. So much time for cleaning despite checkout of the previous guest by 11am. And we had asked for late check-out for which they told they'll let us know, unfortunately they did not and we checked out by 11.15am). First night we had dinner from their seafood restaurant. It was very good. We had seafood chowder soup for rs. 380, green salad for 200 and a main course for 800. They have options for grilled fish at a rate 1950 per kg of whichever fish we select. I would like to give 4 out of 5 rating for restaurant. One star less because, it's open only after 7pm and when we asked them about the live fishes for the day, they told they don't know about it and we had asked it at 6.30pm.and mosquitoes were there for which they've not done anything. We had buffet breakfast from their Tharavad restaurant which was also ok, rating 3 out of 5.2 stars less for spread was very small considering the price.

We had main issue during the night. Their rooms have less privacy in terms of audio isolation. We can hear what people talk in the other room, in the corridor etc. One of the nights, we could not sleep properly because the people next room were having a party and hotel didnot have any restriction. They were partying till 2am and there were around 5 to 10 people in next room. Midnight at 1 am i had to go there and request the next room people to reduce the noise. When we told the hotel staff next day, apparently they didn't hear anything it seems. This happened in the second night.

Other useful aminities are the swimming pool and their spa. Swimming pool was ok, but crowded. Spa we didn't feel as worthy as we have done to other better spas in kochi. Even the spa receptionist was not that welcoming and we decided not to do any spa. They didnot have lady masseuse for my wife. She was on leave and they were not sure whether she will come next day or not.

Through our our stay, house keeping staffs were very friendly. They used to provide us whatever we needed without any hesitation and with a smiling face. One of the staff Mr. Jinu was exceptional in the work and attitude towards the guest.

A grand old hotel known across Kerala at Wellington Island. Have gone several times for their buffet lunch / dinner. Tasty food and gracious service. They are also famous for their Special Plum Cakes. Pandhal chain of pastry shops also belong to them

Clock watcher front staff. Pushed us to leave rooms earlier than check out time while some other guests were given relaxation in the check out process

Internet is good. Pool facility is good. Restaurant staff are friendly and supportive.

They have good service and they have a pool. They provide complementary breakfast and that is very good and yummy. They have a neat pool for all. The pool timing is from morning 7 to evening seven. Their room service is so good and the staffs are very welcoming.

Dinner buffet: Heavy twist of flavour not everyone will like it. The restaurant "THARAVADU" is an ambient place to be. Breakfast buffet is way better.

Totally happy with our experience at Casino for buffet. Property is just nice and the service was extra ordinary by Mr. Albin. All starts for food, property, service and location.

A little late but worth Absolutely brilliant. The staff were really great and professional. Catered to all our needs. Whether it was the restaurant where Vaishak and team took care of my toddlers food demands or the front desk who helped us out. I am not able to recollect the individual names but the whole team there were brilliant

A good hotel, not the best 5 star hotel at kochi, usually they have reasonable rates for the rooms, which is a plus point. The breakfast spread was not that great, only few options were available. The dinner spread was good but not great. The food was tasty.

A peaceful place to get relaxed and enjoy. Its located away from the rush of city. They serves fabulous and delicious food.

Very horrible hotel. Banquet manager Mr. Damodharan very horrible un trousty person. He will change the words as per his intrest. Dont book this hotel for any of the fuction. Finally you will be cheated during the program.

Went for buffet at tharavadu restaurant. Not an exuberant spread but decent. The food quality if very good. They could have added a prawn item. Deserts were less in nunbers but were very good.

Wonderfull room, wonderful food and wonderfull staff specially front desk person Mr. Bipin, he is very hard working and professional person. As in pandemic every property is running with limited staff so same I have seen there. I stayed for one night to celebrate my husband bday, front office manager Mr. Singh alloted beautiful room with lovely decoration (which makes my husband happy). In Night Mr. Bipin place cake in my room which makes us happy as he is a part of front office and doing service part also. I requested water bottles also as no one from housekeeping and service answering my calls so I request same to Mr Bipin he personally bring two water bottles for us.

Visited the Restaurant by the pool side. The ambience is amazing and the food is simply awesome. I wish there was a live band / Gazal!

So we went for the dinner buffet. The spread was very less for the price they charged. And the taste was very average too. There was no proper starters, they just gave a slice of chicken, a paneer cutlet and some bajji kind of stuff. For bread there was only 2 options -Kallappam, and kerala parootta (which was cold and hard to get) for main course they served one variety or chicken, one pork, 2 fish items. Everything else was veg. Interesting part is there was no Rice items, not a single one. Dessert also was very average. Service was good. But menu is too less for the price. Disappointed!

I traveled with my family of 6 adults and 3 children. The front office staff Mr. Melvin was extremely helpful and others were the same including the staff in the Restaurant. Liked the stay so much because of it's ambience and friendly staff. The property is well maintained and well cleaned. Breakfast was awesome with many varieties. I definitely recommend this to anyone traveling with family. As it is inside the Willington Island, there will be a toll of 12 INR on your way in by the Port Authorities.

Excellent place. Great food. We ordered Sea food chowder soup, the pork spare rib and jasmine rice with pork char siu. Each was better than the other. Loved it 10/10

A little away from the town, but it's worth the travelling. Rooms are spacious and neat with all kind of amenities. When coming to the food, it's delicious and superb. Restaurant was just opened after the pandemic, so the menu was not fully available. About the staffs, they are so helpful and courteous in every way.

Good hotel and good amenities. Suitable for the people who are going to Lakshadweep by cruise as they don't have to travel a lot. They have in house restaurant too and a seperate bar too. There's also a restaurant near by. Considering their guests arrival time for cruise they should allow early check in without additional charges.

It's one of the oldest restaurants in Cochin. Good ambience and enough seating. Friendly staff. May need booking in advance on some days. Buffet menu changes each day and it would be better to check that with the hotel before going.

Hotel ambience and service is superb. Food quality and taste is too bad. They charge extra amount if you order a fresh juice during the buffet. The worst dish was pork and beef

We had dinner at the Fort Cochin seafood speciality restaurant.
Pro's:
1. The ambience was nice and the service was good.
2. The quality and taste of each dish is of a really good standard.
Con's:
1. The prices are definitely on the steeper side with a basic main course dish costing you a minimum of Rs. 600+.
2. Since they have an open kitchen layout, at one point, I was shocked to see the manager doing some cooking.

This is a honest review after staying here for a month. The hotel is spacious, rooms are good and the hotel staff at reception goes out of way to help you in need but that does not make it all.
The room service and food at restaurant is not upto the standards of a two star let alone the five star rating it has. The food is always in buffets with almost the same cuisine repeating everyday.
After a certain duration in my case the service overall seemed to become more off like favours rather than their duty cleaning staff needed to be reminded for room cleaning, etc.

Had a relaxing laid back Sunday amidst Corona with all three ingredients correct. Chilled Beer, Sumptuous Food and the Pool.the buffet was a great spread (1200 bucks plus taxes). Pork was missing.so looking fwd to that. Made plenty of laps at the pool and then gorged on the beer and food. Definitely worth your money!

We've been at Casino hotel for a day out and I must say we quickly became a loyal customer of this venue. @Tharavadu Restaurant: Excellent and authentic food, tasteful setting and kind staff.
The highlight of our outing at the hotel was surprise cake arranged by staff as it was my wife's birthday. It was a great gesture and made our day.
Highly recommended, perfect place for going out with family or friends.

Casino is a five star rated heritage hotel located in Willingdone Island Kochi. It's located very calm place. This hotel is very eco friendly. Here you can enjoy best seafood restaurant in Kerala. The pool water is treated with salt minerals instead of clorin bleaching.its safe to ur eyes, skin and hair. The food they served is safe to ur health and delicious. I visited their kitchen. There is well maintained baking unit is here.

This is one of finest hotels in Kochi. Be it the food, be it the Ambience, be it the customer service and management. Everything is top notch.
They have a main restaurant named Tharavaadu which serves various cuisines and also have buffet for lunch and dinner.
They have a seafood speciality restaurant named Fort Cochin which is also a poolside restaurant has a wide spread of seafood dishes. The seafood here is super fresh and we can feel the freshness in each bite. This is my favourite dining area at the hotel. It's warm and exotic ambience along with poolside setting of the area makes it just the perfect place if you're looking for a place to hang out with your mates or to bring a date and even your family. You can also have a few drinks at the lawn and just ease into the mellow vibe that surrounds the area. So the combination of such drool worthy seafood and lovely Ambience can make the whole experience an exemplary one that you'll cherish for a long time.
They also have a nicely done restobar on the first floor named after the world famous explorer Vasco da Gama. Its a small well lit area with a few tables just for having a few drinks. They have a rather long list of drinks in the offering both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
The rooms and services here are impeccable and gives justice to it's 5 star hotel rating.
There is also a conference hall and also an outdoor party area adjacent to the pool which can be used to host small gatherings or parties.
So overall The Casino Hotel is one of the best 5 star hotels in the city and you won't be disappointed if you choose to visit the hotel.

Went there for a solo trip to celebrate my birthday. Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They even came with their team to sing at the time I cut the cake (gifted by my sister). Made it really special.

Star hotel famous for it's sea food restaurant, Excellent bar, cozy accommodation, nice swimming pool with car parking at Willington Island in Cochin. Definitely try the seafood restaurant.

I visited here todya. They have a great variety of dishes in their Sunday Brunch. Good ambience and open space for dinner parties. There's an open bar inside.

Loved this hotel staff are so so sweet and anand was such a caring pool attendant and really enjoyed his time we spent talking and loved his company

A fine restaurant with a very good buffet. It is a bit expensive. The hotel is at the beautiful willingdon island. They have a variety of love counters and the soup was exquisite. The staff is very friendly. We went there for my anniversary and they offered us a complimentary cake to celebrate the occasion.

Beautiful Place! Would visit again!
Con: no good restaurants nearby, had to travel to the city for food.
Casino food was tooo expensive!
