With the ongoing road work leading to the salon it was a bit difficult to reach the place and with a sudden rainfall i was left stranded and decided to call them to reschedule my appointment. To my surprise the owner and her assistant came out with umbrellas and convinced the road workers to move the baricade slightly to accomodate my car atleast in a safe spot. You don't get to see such gestures everyday. The service provided was top notch and i had opted a detan facial done by a very professional Ruhi who took time and effort to the work. Very happy with the entire episode and grateful to such people. Thankyou Catlyst.

Im only here to review because I didn’t leave a review earlier. They completely destroyed my wedding makeup and saree tying! Looking at the photos make me want to cry even after 5 years. Better late than never. Stay away from this horrible place!

Worst hair cut for my son! The guy was rude when I told him to cut it nicely. Started shouting at the kid and very bad attitude. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all

I have frequented their different services over the past few years and found it to be alright mostly.
However I had a very bad experience recently with their gel polish manicure. The lady who did the service clearly had no idea how to do a gel polish. I paid 600rs just for the gel polishing without manicure. And the polish started peeling off in an hour. The product they use are either not original or well past the expiry. Not going to go back to this place anytime soon.

Iam extremely unhappy with their service. Treatments are not good and also the rates are so high that the quality doesn't match.

I had the worst possible experience from this salon. Will not recommend anybody to visit this place. I went there to colour my hair. I showed them the picture of how i want my colour to look like nd asked them to do balayage. Aftr the service i was not happy with the colour. The stylist and the owner told me that this is bcuz i was refering to the picture i had shown them nd they told that i would never get that colour as in the photo bcuz of the litightings in the photo. Aftr 2 weeks the colour started to fade and my hairs condition started get worse. I went to a salon in kochi to do a spa treatment on my hair and the stylist there asked abt the whereabout of wat i had done and he told me that they hadn't done balayage instead they had done some sort of painting. This owner lady never even asked if i wanted to do hair colouring with or without bleach. She is jst focussed in making money rather than her clients preferences. I would never recommend anybody to go there. They are not jst worth the cash. Not only did I lose Rs6700, now i have to do k18 treatment nd colour back my hair to black. Worst salon to visit in TVM.

I had long hair and asked the stylist to maintain maximum length and give me a layer cut. Im extremely disappointed that half of my hair length is gone. Shouldn’t have gone to this place in the 1st place. Horrible experience!

The owner lady should fix her attitude. Otherwise she will get only snobs as customers which will suit her attitude.

Very arrogant lady, who was acting like manager or owner. Ruined my bday. I went there with a gift card from my hus.but she treated me as if I went there for free service.

The place was very untidy and the room for facial was stinking of sewage. The service took a lot of time because the staff left the cream on skin for double the specified time.
The hairspa was good and so was the haircut. But the services are highly overpriced considering the facilities and value. Do ask for a bill as they did not provide a bill.

After few minutes, this lady came running to me asking what my wife really wants. I was confused which part of "layer cutting" she didn't understand. Such an elitist attitude. Looks like I have to pull out my S class merc and visit this place to get a fair treatment. And she was bossy all along till I was making the payment. She really has to learn how to behave with customers.

There are better options in the town and they give better results for much lesser price. I'd skip this one anytime.

Very very poor സർവീസ്. For parafin pedicure they charged 800 and for aroma pedicure they charged 600. But They didn't use Hydogen peroxide for cleaning.for pedicure they gave just 5 minutes of massage only. They didnt care even to put the naipolish too.too pathetic service

Deepa, (hope I recollected the name right, covid break and all) I have most often had only great experiences at Catalyst, if not for the work done, then atleast for your (Deepa's) exemplary customer service. It's totally 5 star!

Unfortunately today happened.
For anything hair related I have always always suggested your place in TVM, to oh sooo many people, but that too changes today.

I wouldn't lay the blame entirely at your hairdresser's feet because when I came, not a single client was present (nor was there any, half an hour in) and yet you did not assign your "superstar" hair stylist, but possibly the worst one. That one's on you!
Although you did pop in once in a while to supervise, offer suggestions, re-affirm changes with the hair-chopper. And I shouldn't discount such diligence and commitment, so I'm making note of my appreciation for that here.

So the girl who cut my hair, totally absolutely ruined it! - clearly the very worst haircut of my life!
- the grating way she sideways-pulled-cut it, sounded serious warning bells. Should have stopped it right then and there, I realise now!
- the way the colour was plastered all over- my head was burning, the air smelling of ammonia.this despite having made clear I wanted the ammonia free colour
- the way she scraped half my scalp off while washing the colour off, drenching me half in the process
- and the way she burnt off the rest of my scalp with the blow drying!
And then she tells me its not the cut that changes your look, it is the texture of your hair! Raise your hands everyone, whose face symmetry/asymmetry transformed after a simple hair cut by a brilliant stylist! (case in point- the brut of yester years)

I wonder if you have access to cctv visuals of the salon interiors in your office. If you do, then fie on you!
Also, did you not notice the mess on my head when I came in to make the payment!? While you were oh so effusively thanking me? !
I'm suing if today results in my going bald in the very near future!

Extremely happy with the service experience! The warm smile and friendly greetings right when you walk in, to the at home feeling that you get by the end of your services, Catalyst has my heart. Sweet sweet staff and professional and patient service. Haircut never felt like a life changing experience before this place! Rates seem reasonable to me (1200 for hair spa, oh so totally worth it! 800 for haircut, truly life changing). Tidy place (I saw people dedicated to constantly and consistently cleaning places after ever use, very impressive!). Eyebrows were done patiently and I didn't have to point out even a single extra hair for them to remove or correct. It was perfect! Catalyst is definitely worth your time and money.

The staff and hairstylist was very good. But the manager was very arrogant. Would love to visit there again, but for the manager. So dissappointing.

I go there for a bridal makeover in december last week and while shaving, the stylist scratch my neck and a mark appears. After that they recommend me to oxygen facial and i went to it. While removing the blackheads, the lady pinch the nose so hardly. And when i return to home, the nose become so reddish and bulged. Still i'm okay.but on the marriage day, everyone asked me "this is your marriage and why u didnt do a facial". I was wondered. And that made me sad. The skin look faded. So i didnt recommend here.

Really disappointed with the service. I had long hair and wanted to have it layered, the person didn't even know how to perform a layer cut, messed up my hair and eventually I had to settle with a short haircut which even a normal barber could have done.

Getting a haircut used to be a necessity and a style statement before Corona but in these uncertain times, it has become more of a forbidden indulgence, at least for me. So, in dire need of a chop, my long hair which was craving for a cut for the past 7 months finally got its wish when I went to Catalyst after a lot of careful consideration. A friend of a friend had recommended this place to me.
As Fleabag would say, "hair is everything! ". So I was quite particular about finding the right place and the right person to cut/style my hair. And I got my wish here at Catalyst! It was actually better than my expectations and I'm so grateful. Would highly recommend this place!

I have done my research on colour matching my skin and inquired on the same with them whether this particular brown colour was available with them and they said YES then only I have taken appointment. After colouring my hair, it looked like normal black colour which we have done our selves and not have to pay more than 2000. My family, husband and everyone said it's looking exactly black and when asked Catalyst about the same they have done colour matching as they think. Matching says who? I have done my research and asked for a particular colour. If it's not available, you should say that and its not fair to apply the colour you wish.or have.

I called to book an appointment for my marriage. They told me to come in three days before the marriage and to make a call the previous day to book appointment. I called on Monday and nobody picks up. I went there to find that Monday was their Holiday. I called on Tuesday nobody picks up or the line is busy.

One of the best if not, THE best Salons in Trivandrum that I have gone to. For the past 3 years I have adamantly gone to this salon to style my hair or do facials, and not even once I had a bad experience.
The manager there is super kind and will talk to you about which kind of hairstyle suits you, or which type of facial is good for your skin.
The quality and finesse of the hairstylists here is a delight to watch! They use branded products mostly L'Oréal so you don't even need to think twice before they use a product on you.
So I recommend everyone to go to this boon to many dreamers as they truly are the best.

Been going to Catalyst for the last 8 years or so. Deepa Aunty suggests the best treatments in skin and hair care. Always treats you with a smile and makes you feel comfortable. Also have to say.
