The chicken biryani is without doubt the best/number 1 biriyani in kochi.the chicken was so soft (boiled to perfection) and rice was also small and healthy (without over spices) must try

Waiting for long time to get food.i orfered only 1 fried frice which took nearly 30 mts to serve. Very poor customer service.pathetic.

I had ordered just a fruit salad with icecream and had asked to not put pineapple as i am allergic. They put pineapples which made my tongue swell and have rashes and i had to rush to the hospital. The staff could have told me it was prior added so i would have ordered something else. Poor communication

We tried lunch at the restaurant. Chicken biryani, pal Kappa and fish, dragon chicken and porotta- loved each of the dishes we tried. Less crowd now a days, but quality and taste of the food is maintained.

It was disappointing to have food from this hotel after many years. We have ordered kadai vegetable, Singaporan noodles etc. We wondered how the chef prepared these dishes and served with in 2 minutes. The kadai was a hell with masala and other dishes not worth with a money. Cylone bake house is no more a good destination for good food. RIP

Located on the main road, with the parking location completely hidden. As usual, Ceylon's specialities are worth trying and they won't disappoint you at any moment.

Mouth watering food and the ambience is great. The service is good. The bakery adjacent to the restaurant is really good.

Our regular place to stay whenever we visit Kochi.its more comfortable, safe and easy for commuting within the city as it's in the heart of the city. Love the food there especially chicken biriyani, prawns biriyani, appam and idiyappam re my favourites. They re just awesomely delicious

This place is soooo good in every aspect. The food and everything. Customer care service is so good, thank God we found this place, feeling so blessed. This is a genuine review.

Meals was ok but it other vegetarian options might not be that good. Had vegetable fried rice earlier which was very bad. It may be good for non veg food.

As you all know, their food is tasty, nominal rated. But the service is too poor. They will take a long time to attend. One or two guys are attending guests. Some guys in uniform, simply roaming here and there. Management must look in to this matter. Would like to say again that I do like the food of them.

The wait really makes it a deal breaker. Like the waiter didn't even attend to us for almost 45 minutes. And it was pretty crowded. The food is decent in taste and quantity. The ginger chicken felt nothing like it was supposed to taste like.

Directly on the roadside of MG road, easily noticeable, tasty food especially of nonveg varieties, good service, neet, moderate charges, parking facility also.

Awesome experience. Today I visited along with my family for lunch. We reached late by around 4 pm. But still we could taste the chicken Biriyani, kadai chicken, Porotta and Potthu roast (beef roast). I will never ever hesitate to say that this is one of the best lunch which I ever experienced in the town. All the staff behaviour was caring and good. Moreover the restaurant has a got a great ambience. I would love to recommend this hotel to all. Thank you Ceylon

His is a place that’s been around for a long time and is frequented by local people who know value for money! They have everything from Biryanis to wadai and great coffees too! I like the simple atmosphere combined with really tasty food! His is yet another good restaurant in the MG road (just opposite to The Hotel Avenue regent). This hotel is generally crowded which tells the quality of the food and reasonableness of the rates of the dishes. Luckily I got a seat during a peak lunch time. This is a spacious restaurant with extra family room at the interior. All the Indian dishes and some chinese dishes are available here. I had ordered for Chicken Biriyani which was quite nice in taste and the chicken quality was good. This is an ideal restaurant to go with the family for lunch or dinner.

Located near to Ernakulam South railway station and is on MG Road too. Rooms are moderately priced and of good size and cleanliness. WiFI is available.  
Restaurant is downstairs and good tasty food is served. Breakfast timings are odd and food is not ready by 7.30am.

Visted after a long long time. Had fish biriyani and chicken tikka biriyani. Both look spicy but were not so spicy. Food was little oily. Rate is slightly on a higher side. Taste wise also it's just above average. I have not tried anything other than biriyani from here so not sure on other items.

One of the recognized and highly growing hotel. Situated near to Bata M G Road. You will get Services while sitting in table itself.you can use the device on table. Ordered meals fish fry etc. Bit costly than regular hotels. Ambiance is too good. Cosy place. You can give orders via call also. Ceylon briyani is the famous dish here. Some other branches are too in ernakulam.

One amoung the oldest hotels in town. They provide almost all the varieties of food from biriyani to north indian. Rates are bit high but meets quality and quantity. Desserts option also available. Cars can be parked in front of the restaurant. Staffs are friendly.restaurantis clean and tidy.

The food is tasty and if you are looking for near authentic Kerala cuisine, this is the place to go to. It does get crowded especially on weekends mainly because of its prominent location.
Do not miss their prawn dishes. Vegetarian fare is also available.

Lovely place and good for group.price little high but value for the price.they are having calling bell on table if we press service button server will come to ur table if u press a bill button bill will ready for u and came to ur table.

Good service and good food but not all the items in the menu. Be careful to order what you know as their special items might not taste so good to you. Highly recommended to try coin porotta and Ceylon Porotta. Be careful when you order Ceylon Porotta as they are pretty big and hence don't order a lot. Coin porotta is best suitable with chicken or beef Curry. Try their varieties of fresh juices. It's nice and they are good at it. Items are heavily priced compared to other joints which offer same service and better food at lower prices. So be careful with it. Good for a family dinner as their dining is well maintained and can occupy large crowds. Service is good as well. Friendly staff help you choose dishes and helps with the quantity as well.

After renovation. The entire outlook has become better. The ambience is good enough to accommodate enough amount of customers. The taste.yeah it is satisfactory.

Best in the town for Chinese dishes, especially in mg road. Value for money, me and my family always visit here. Fried rice and Butter nan with Butter chicken is best combination i ever had from their branches

Ceylon is one of a famous restaurant.we didn't expect that here we will get such a bad food.we have ordered beef biriyani and we were served with biriyani rice and beef curry within rice.can't we order rice and curry instead of biriyani? Waste of money and we didn't expect crooked food from ceylon.never order a biriyani again here
