Wonderful location, great service, humble and caring staff of restaurant reception and all.

The most beautiful and innovative hotel in Munnar. The room had a stunning view over the tea plantation and in the morning the hotel looks unbelievably picturesque surrounded by mountain mists. The staff and the service were excellent. The variety of all meals was superb. Truly recommend a stay here.

Everything about Windy’s wood is awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It’s worth the money. They have an in-house forest for trekking. It’s fun.

We were there on the occasion of our 2nd wedding anniversary. It was a special day for us and their hospitality made it even more special. Chandy’s has set the highest benchmark for HOSPITALITY better than Taj even.
The first thing you will notice is the genuine smile, concern and care from each and every staff. They will great you wherever they find you. Also, they know your movements from one place to the other.
They would cater to your every need accordingly and would also ask for your feedback immediately for every experience. For eg.when we came to the restaurant for lunch post a swimming pool session, they asked how the experience was and did we like it? (Surely, we did) and like wise they asked our food preferences and prepared it accordingly, post which they asked if we liked it and were ready to serve us another portion if we wanted certain modifications (which wasn’t necessary because the food was wonderful in the 1st go itself).
Another instance was when my wife became sick with nausea and an upset stomach on the checkout day. (We had reached Munnar after a long drive form Pune). The moment they came to know that she is sick they swung into action. Mr. Ashish in the restaurant suggested there would be some medication available in the spa and took me there.
Mr Bipin the executive chef offered ginger lime and packed some idli chutney for her to have as she couldn’t have breakfast. He understanding that I was worried soothed me and suggested a hospital in Adimali and surely the hospital turned out to be good. The Operations Manager Mr. Bejoy Sebastian went a step ahead and packed many fruits deserts (A special shoutout to The Operations Manager Mr. Bejoy Sebastian. His energy is contagious. Especially considering what he had endured through in his life. He overwhelmed us with his hospitality. Whenever we met him, he made sure we are happy with the services)
Mr. Joel-The Restaurant in charge and Mr. Pradeep made sure that every meal we had was awesome. They also arranged a candle light dinner for us which was a beautiful experience.
Also we had arrived early on the 1st day and had buffet breakfast. On checkout they billed only for one person because my wife couldn’t have breakfast on the second day even though they had packed a good amount of food for her.
In my experience such genuine hospitality cannot be trained, but can only be inspired from the top. And that inspiration would be the owner himself Mr. Mathew and his senior staff- the GM- Mr. Nibu. Their humility can be explained through what we saw when we were travelling through the approach road towards the hotels from the highway. The owner was picking plastic bottles himself with a group of staff, as he hated plastic. And this we saw in the whole resort. No plastics were used anywhere. Mr. Nibu always greeted us with a smile.
To mention other staff who catered to us, Mr. Ancil, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Ratheesh and the housekeeping lady on our floor alongwith her team were all cordial. They made a surprise floral decoration on our bed when we were away for dinner. You all made our stay very special. (It was like one big family hosting us. (A noteworthy point- Ashish who was a serving assistant at the restaurant addressed the spa staff as ‘my chettan’ meaning my elder brother. The spa staff wasn’t his real brother, but it showed the bond the staff had with each other. Most of them stay in the staff quarters at the resort itself)
Apart from these, the ambience, the inhouse forest and artificial waterfall and the campfire were all tastefully done.
It was an AWSOME experience to sum-up and we would surely visit again.

Just loved the way staff handled all the guests. Literally the staffs treat each guests like God. The inside trekking is really fun and is made amazingly.

The staffs do conduct many activities like tea plantation walk, towel art demo, campfire, and many other activities with it.

Last but not the least is the food. It's out of the way, and fantabulous with in terms of taste, options, cuisine varieties and what not. Name it and you have it ready for you.

Best resort ever visited.no wonder how it has got this high reviews. Whatever U say everything is better dan the best in the industry. There is water fall n artificial woods inside the resort.believe it or not. All the staff members were cordial and their to help U 24*7 with a smiling face.property is well maintained.food was exceptional and if kids r with U they will make sure they r provided with the food they asks for even if itz not there in their buffet. Service we got there was exceptional. View from the room was awesome. They even provided us with cakes n snacks to have in our journey back. It's a beautiful hotel + place to stay.
The architecture of the hotel blends with the mountains there, designed very well to blend with the space, which makes all the rooms have the spectacular view of the tea plantations and the vallies, which is filled with beautiful mist most of the time. And there is an interior landscape with an artificial water fall, added with a local tea shop, which is unique.
The staff were very friendly, helpful especially Mr. Pradeep from the restaurant and Mr. Jhon.
The restaurant has an interior space and an outdoor space with the spectacular view. And the food tastes authentic.
You can have free ride through the tea plantations with a bicycle or motorcycle provided by the hotel.

Has the best food and excellent services. The activities in the hotel was fun. The artificial waterfall and forest inside the hotel was worth a experience along with cave and tea shop inside it.it is the one of the best hotel in munnar. One again the best food in munnar.

Scenic & isolated this luxury hotel/resort is a step shaped stacked buildings built on the slopes of a hill. Room amenities are on par of to those found in good star hotels in cities. Travelling inside the hotel can be adventurous for some painful for others. To move from one level of building to the other, you need to access different lifts - 4 in total. Or use their scenic artificially created jungle path to walk up/down. It includes it's own waterfall and jungle sounds. A veritable delight for kids. They offer few activities like yoga, cooking, tea plantation visit, camp fire, etc. You can also borrow well equipped bikes or motorbikes to explore surrounding areas. Only con is that the property does not have any outdoor space of it's own. Good place to relax and enjoy with family.

Excellent property at excellent location, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The forest inside the hotel is mind blowing. They also have waterfalls inside the hotel. You can view it from your room all the time.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. High quality food. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Operations Manager Mr. Bijoy goes extra mile to make sure guests feel like a King.

Good for a night stay for bachelors, but not ideal for a family with kids as there is no space to play around or rather a garden where we can walk around, just an artificial waterfall which is tough for kids and elders. Complimentary brekfast was indeed complimentary, lacking taste or flavor just bland. The croissant, donut, muffin everything was insipid literally. Not sure what the 5 stars are for, I would rate it a 3 star. Above all we got rooms at the lower level where the view was blocked by trees, just for a hype there's a balcony in every room, that's it.

Beautifully maintained property with mouthwatering south indian and continental cuisine. Loved every bit of the stay here, especially the view from the balcony of our room. If you are looking for a luxurious getaway in Munnar, you can definitely go for it!

This was on the top of the list of best experiences ever where I stayed. The amenities were great. All of the staffs are incredibly helpful and generous who go above and beyond to make sure we have the best time. The hotel is very clean throughout, and our room was spacious with everything that we needed. Mr. Anu, the Manager of the resort who was particularly helpful, he assisted from the front desk and till at the check out of our stay. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Mr. Chef, I appreciate your effort and we are truly fortunate to have such a talented chef with us. Highly recommend. Scenics have been incorporated into the resort.good food and hospitality.would say not a great option during public holidays place was a bit crowded.resort management has to monitor the time slots given to guests to use the pool.

We enjoyed every moment we had here. The care and service offered by the staff was highly to be praised. The trees and waterfall inside was a fresh and new experience. Food was quite enjoyable too. Rooms were really cozy and had all comforts one could expect.

Last time i had this much tastier food was. I don't know. I mean anything and everything you had over there was dddelicious. For the first time, i challenged my tummy's elasticity. Next time i come back, I'll be packing a bigger tummy. And now i have a reason to not exercise.

Highly Recommendable Property. Extremely helpful and caring staff. Neat and clean rooms. Food is super delicious. We were staying there with two kids, they took care in each and every moment we spend at Windy woods, from the arrival to the departure and done a lot to make all of us comfortable. All the staff took special attention for having individual attention to all the visitors. Windy woods is having an inhouse trekking experience, which is suitable for families with kids who wants to experience some thing unique. Swimming pool was quite tidy. Well maintained property. Have to give 7* for the experience they provide.

It was a nice trip and we enjoyed the facilities provided by Chandys’s. Manager, employees are very friendly. Service is awesome. Raja, Pradeep and Pankaj are doing a great job. We faced a minor issue with the room and the general manager immediately given the upgraded room to fulfill the customer satisfaction and make them feel home. Interior design with baniyan tree with waterfalls is the one of the best to enjoy in Chandys.

The staff were very good and there hospitality was awesome. No one can beat it. I love the hotel very much and stay was the best. The rooms are well maintained and artificial forest which is build inside the hotel to too good with treating track inside itself.

Exceptional property with the most amazing views of the valley especially at the sunrise and sunset. Mind blowing interior design of the rain forest and each level has a different one. Do go for the candle light dinner and feel free to ask the chef for any special requirements. Near to the adventure park as well.

This was one of the best resorts I have been to hands down, courtesy the staff! We were welcomed so graciously into the resort and the staff, I have to say each and everyone, made it their personal responsibility to ensure we had a great time. The resort is at a beautiful location were the view is the cloud covered hills and tea plantation. They have an amazing indoor trekking track/waterfall meant for beginners which goes hand in hand with the calm and serene of munnar. The restaurant serves delicious food. There is a ayurveda centre as well for those would like to unwind. There is a pool which is 4 feet deep. Campfire would be arranged upon request. There are various activities planned for the guests including trekking and so on.

Excellent getaway destination. Hotel rooms were excellent. The food quality was outstanding. Staff were overwhelmingly caring, nice and helpful. The hotel staff were very careful to ensure that we were comfortable and welcome. We were provided lots of complementary gifts and food. The name of staff that we can't miss to thank were Aneesh, Binoy, Pradeep and Jiji. Aneesh was very helpful and friendly. Binoy gave us a tour of the hotel's internal trekking. The view of the rooms were magnificent. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone who is thinking of visiting munnar. The rates were also modest.

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay in this amazing resort. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The resort is at a perfect location with lovely breathtaking views of the valley and tea plantations on the moutains. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The food of the restaurant was delicious. The chef, Mr. Nibu James checked if we would want some customised food. We also tried their teaplantations and inhouse trekking which was a wonderful experience given by Mr. Bejoy. The trekking was completed by a plate of hot banana fritters and  piping hot cuppa ripple tea in the thela. Happy faces and friendly staff ready to help at any time right from the watchman to the manager. Special Mention of Raja, Pankaj, Nibu James, Pradeep and Bejoy. Would love to go back again and would definitely recommend this resort to all.

Stayed at Chandys Windy Woods last month and this was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip in Kerala. All the staff are so friendly, welcoming, attentive and professional. Also special thank you to Bejoy who took us for the walk through the tea fields, gave us the towel folding class and made sure we were looked after well during our stay. The food was great and they cooked us anything we asked for and the staff were very hospitable. The hotel has an amazing location, cleverly built with an indoor trail and the views are beautiful. It was also very clean and peaceful. Overall an amazing experience, we wished we stayed longer! Definitely will be recommending this hotel to friends and family!
