One of the best restaurants in Thiruvananthapuram, located near keshavadasapuram. I have been a visitor for more than two decades and the quality of the food is good and I appreciate them for keeping it. You will get both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes.
We arrived in the evening. As my family had already arrived, they waited for about 20 minutes before ordering. After I joined them, we ordered food. After we finished eating, I requested the waiter to pack the remaining fried rice. I called him over 2-3 times before he finally responded. When I inquired about the delay in packing, he responded rudely, "You waited earlier without ordering food, so that's why it's taking this long. " This behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional, as if he was my boss rather than a service provider. If you want to showcase your "heroism, " customer service is not the field for you.
Such a beautiful place for very bad food and to waste your money. Need to wait minimum one hour to start serving. You will feel discomfort immediately after start to having the food. By mistake I visited them with family 12 members and no one was satisfied and children's was crying to loose their chance for outing.
We ate Breakfast from there. Lot of parking space.my brother had a ghee roast and it felt like ghee is not used. Mom only had the half of a masala dosa because it was not gud. My father and I ate appam and egg curry which was very bad.atmosphere is gud but food is not tasty. May be meals and other options are better I don't know
Yesterday (12.11.2023) we had a very bad experience from Hotel Chinnus, Kesavadasapuram. Ordered 3 Fish curry meals and Fish curry, Sambar, dal and even pickle was not there in the parcel. We informed them and at first they refused their mistake and later they accepted to deliver the missed items in a rude manner. But they cheated us again and even not refunded the amount. Very bad service.
Very good for family. We ordered meals and biryani. Meals was good, especially fish fry. Ayala fish fry was a big size one. Also neymeen pieces in biriyani is from big neymeen, which is more tasty and costlier than small size neymeen.
Firstly What They are adding in this food to make feel heavy even if we haven't had much. Secondly, it make people sick. I am allergic to soda when they are added more than a threshold, why do they have to too much of it. They're not cooking customer friendly food. Please Stop serving chilly chicken it wasn't worth chilly. Guests who came with me also complaint regarding food that something is added in it. I am totally dissatisfied and disappointed.
Good food. Fair amounts. Not too pricy not too cheap as well. Service is good. Atmosphere wise acceptable. Not a party place or a romantic point. But if you want to have good food with fast service. Then this is a good spot for selection. Parking facilities is a crunch but considering the location and rush of the place still acceptable. Security guard is available to help you in parking as well. No vallet parking
25 of us boarded to eat. Supplier went to the order. Gave a glass + plate and left. Waited from 2.20 and got food at 3.35. But many people did not get the ordered food. Most of the people left very angry.
I've been to this restaurant multiple times. So here's my review.
* The porota served is not fresh. It'll be cold and hard like rubber. No layers. So it's better to avoid if you're a porota lover.
* Most of their beef delicacies tastes the same. But they taste good. So stick with something which is less expensive.
* Ordered Chicken kadai and it was a disaster. Chilli chicken and butter chicken are comparatively good, but not the best.
* There were flies inside the dining area.
* The washroom is reasonably clean.
* Adequate parking facility.
* Service usually takes about 10 minutes. The restaurant is understaffed though.
Edit: 28/10/2023: Downgrading rating of food quality from 3 star (which I put 4 years ago) to 1!
Here is my observation during my recent visit with family.
*AC dining hall is empty. Only a very few customers found in the ground floor dining which was a red flag and I should have walked away.
*Although the price of the food items are reasonable compared to a few years ago, the quantity and quality of the items I have ordered decreased drastically to the point I had to inform the waiter that the food was not good. Around 6 years ago, 1 chicken masala was enough for 3 people, however now, it is hardly sufficient for 2 people and it was all bones.
*There is too much oil used in all the dishes, including the porota. The porota as always was not fresh, and was dripping oil.
From the chinnus hotel I ordered fish curry meals it was pathetic.they charging GST tax etc so please do the respect to customer and good food (from the next table they complained about food but waiter was forcing to eat) not a good behaviour I won't recommend anyone here waste of money
