We have orderd, chiyang nudles and mixed fried rice along with, honey glazed pork fry. All the the three items were very bad in taste, honey glazed pork fry was like sweet, and was not at all honey, it was sugar coated. Quality and the taste was tooo bad. Expected chinese taste bad it was too disappointing.

Best Chinese food available within the city. They have stopped using artificial food colours. Must visit if you love Chinese food

It is one of the very good Chinese foods at Ernakulam. They have a good ambiance and well-mannered service staff. Parking was a bit difficult as it is located right beside the highway. Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice was too good to try. Quantity is also a lot to have for 2 normal guys.loved the food and ambiance.

One of the oldest and authentic desi Chinese serving restaurant, located near MG Road. The ambience and aesthetics here are really amazing and cool and give a good vibe. You can visit here with family or friends. The food is good and served piping hot, the service is a bit slow, but the staff are helpful and friendly. Their chicken lollipop is a must try dish here. They have a vast variety of seafood, chicken, beef and pork dishes and also have a good variety in vegetarian option too.

The food was good. But there were a lot of flies. Please have a look at that. Otherwise the food, Service and the quantity and taste were too good. The rate was also good. The staff gave us a good suggestion and that saves my extra expense on ordering food.

A very good restaurant for Indo Chinese delicacies. Good value for money without compromising on taste and service. Will surely recommend.

Very soothing ambience. Best for family get together. Variety of chinese dishes available. Soups are perfect and pork dishes are a must try. Price is a bit high, but its worth.

Ordered a sweet corn chicken soup, chicken fried rice and chilly pork. Soup tasted blant, like they just added water to previous batch I added all the sauce I could to make it flavoursome but just couldn't finish the bowl, main course is the only reason I am giving 3 stars, it tasted good. Eating here since childhood, the one thing i could notice is Chiyang's soup is getting worse every year.

Love their food.my favourites are mixed friedrice, mixed noodles and dragon paneer.
I have tried Chopsuey as well. Chopsuey was good but a bit too sweet for my taste.

Used to be an excellent Chinese restaurant in 80s and 90s. Now it's merely a ghost of it. Quality of Food and taste is inconsistent. These days on your lucky day you get good dish. Comparing just last 4 months, sometimes food is ok sometimes very bad even to their old reputation. Very oily and ofen with less meat pieces and prawns in noodles and fried rices with only egg and tastes poorly. Last day I ordered a prawn noodles with chilli gobi. The food was poor hardly 5 to 6 prawn pieces in a full course of prawn noodles and chilli gopi gives slight odd oily taste.
Still a popular chinese resturant very crowded at weekends. They need to be careful to keep their minimum standards in the food they are serving

Be there before 3 I guess, Always try to order half quantity, If you are solo, it's more than enough, prices are neither expensive nor cheap

Chinese food is all about flavour. So when you go to a chinese restaurant you look for flavour. And that is where this restaurant fails to deliver. It doesnt have that kick the chinese food gives. Plus its kind of expensive and the wait time is like forever. More like a 2 and a half stars

The 40 years old staple Chinese restaurant of Kochi. Been their customer right from their start. But these few years, the food was average taste on and off. Gave them the feedback. Bought food few days back and it was awesome

Their Chilly Pork is to die for. The amazing thing about this place is that they have managed to maintain the quality of their food for the past 20 years.
Probably one of the few places where you'll never complain that the portions are too small. However, on the downside, their Chilly/Ginger/Garlic/Any dish has the same underlying taste and that can be q up Te boring for someone who likes to have different taste options in one meal.

I happened to order food from Chiyang considering the quality they usually maintain in their dishes. To my bad luck, the sweet and sour chicken and vegetable dish which i got today was too sour. Usually kids relish it. But this time as the dish was too sour and not able to eat it either. Its totally disappointing to get this kind of poor quality from a reputed hotel like Chiyang.

Once being king of restaurants from kochi, chiyang have tragically fall from its grace. This place used to be best chainees, now quality of food have fall so bad, it just putting money into trash. If u read below it will remind u of time 8 yrs ago when this place was unbeatable.

No one can compete with chiyang for quantity of food they serve for that prize. Still leader of all hotels in case of quantity. So it's good especially for group dining

Today i ordered for chicken fried rice and chilli chicken through swiggy. The food quality was very bad because of which i vomitted and i was admitted.
Veru bad quality.

Apart from the very long wait time. This place is amazing. The food make it worth the wait. My recommendation to you would be the dragon chicken if you are someone who enjoys spicy food.

Don't get confused about rate and quantity.
Food is worth for what you pay, when you order for 2 it has the quantity to fill 2 normal foodies. So.

In past chiyang had served one of the best ginger chicken in Ernakulam but now the taste has deteriorated.it's not bad but it needs an improvement

Ordered Chiyang's Chinese delivery recently through Swiggy. Sweet Corn Chicken soup as an appetizer, Chicken fried rice and Chicken Noodles were great. Quantities were ample, quality was great and half sizes ordered were good enough for two or even more servings for one person, if you planned so. Prices were affordable and Swiggy's delivery was swift!

We have ordered chilly chicken on 29 /4/2021 at 7: 12pm but we received the food in a local pvc cover and it does not even had the name or label not even recipt of Chiyan. The food was of very poor quality and we had to dumb it into the waste.

Chiyang was one of our favorite restaurant during 80's while we were studying and recently few of us had a reunion and opted new Chiyang. The cuisines were also the same other than that they have increased the number of dishes. Also, the modern style restaurant has a different ambiance than the old one. The service was excellent, we ordered a good variety of dishes and chilly chicken, chilly pork, noodles and fried rice were all well prepared. The restaurant is good for dining with family too.

Today I went personally as my favourite restore was closed. I wasnt left with any option then to go for whatever available in chiyang resto. Though I have tried the fried rice there many times but never felt tht I should go for it alwys. Today I had a pathetic day by ordering the dragon chicken 2 half plates. It was completely dry, spicy and the chicken was too hard as if it was very old and not fresh chicken. I that 2 plates we had hardly any portion which was eatable. Rest portion we gave it to our cat. People if u really wanna try dragon chicken that to juicy and eatable then try dragon chicekn once in BROWNS RESTAURENT. THAT 2 STAR IS FOR FRIED RICE AND THE PATHETIC REVIEW FOR THE DRAGON CHICKEN

This place is not what it used to be. The quality of food is. It used to be good. Either they have changed their cook or the standard has gone down the drain. I am a regular customer at this restaurant but for the last couple of months the food Just doesn't work for me. Hope they come back to their old standard.

We have been to many Chinese restaurants but this one was the worst.

I love the food here. Been going there for years and still they had maintained the quality. The rates are reasonable and food tastes good too. The portions are of good quantiy and the service is fast. It has enough parking space and altogether a good place to go.

The ambience, the Authentic taste, the service everything is just amazing at this place. Make sure you reach before 3pm if you want to dine at the ac section. A hardcore chinyang fan since 2004 ️️️

Good reddish atmosphere. Dishes are not perfect Chinese but Indian flavoured Chinese dishes are available here. Good place to try Chinese food.

One of the authentic Chinese Restaurant in the middle of Kochi. The service is good and there's a wait for the food to reach the table. The quality of the food is also good.
