Wonderful stay very very helping staff they were cordial at every step.we even took a cab to kanyakumari from there with Mr Sujith.exceptional experience it was.looking forward to visit sarovar portico in trivandrum again.keep shining

Went to cheers bar which they “claim as executive bar”. Tables were not cleaned properly and was full of food leftovers. Literally we kept changing our seat for more than three times but the situation was the same. Don't know why they are charging this much for such a cramped space.
Nice ambience, nice service and overall good experience. Location is in the city but the road is bit remote. But overall nice and value for money. Food is also very nice. For get together, conference, vacation, we can have this. Railway station is very near. And Thampanoor is walkable distance.
Reviews made by others are contradictory to my experience.
1) Only hotel which gave me early check-in (Over 20 Hotels declined early check-in as they replied as international norms!) 2) This Hotel has years of history & experience, so the structure & few facilities has also its ageing but the management is amazing in maintaining the quality. 3) I admired the drinking water provided in the room & hotel. (Entire Western Ghats has natural pure water, some Drinking water companies mislead stating we are the only ones providing quality water and mislead those who are not aware about what you intake). Thus this hotel does not produce plastic waste compared to others. 4) Rules are there, but the staff knows when to apply rules. (More than rules they have common sense which is not common to all)
Stayed there for 3 nights with my family had a wonderful experience. Easily accessible location near railway station. The rooms and bathroom were very neat and spacious. Staff was very courteous and friendly especially front office staff Mr. Saurav. The main attraction which really impressed was the early check in which was at 9 A. M for which they didn't charged any extra.
Only suggestion to the management is if they could provide a locker in the room it would have been good.
Cozy room and got a good room with a great window view specifically at dawn. Sourabh at reception is a cool guy, down to earth and always helpful. All the staff were greatly helpful, from guard to reception till room service. Great service. Thank you for your hospitality.
Reliable hotel in the city for staying, dining and for conducting functions. Food quality good. Parking added advantage. Very near to Railway Station and Central Bus Stand.
Unarguably, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, in Thiruvananthapuram. Completely safe for families & solo women guests. Walking distance from Thiruvananthapuram railway station & main bus station. Also, 10-minute walk to the famed Pazhavagadi Ganapathy Kshethram. Easy, round the clock availability of autorickshaws, Uber/Ola autos & cabs. Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. The rooms are spacious, well-lit & airy. The room we stayed had a big spacious bureau, bedside drawers, writing table, teapoy, along with 2 chairs & a shoerack. Ample toiletries and tea/coffee sachets were provided. Lift available in the hotel. Ample parking space, though not covered. Staff - professional, courteous, & very fast to respond to requests from guests. The hotel has an in-house restaurant. Also, there are a lot of vegetarian restaurants in the vicinity. Go for this hotel, if the room tariffs suit your budget. (Try booking online to avail the best possible rates)
Premium hotel situated in the heart of trivandrum city. Ample parking available at the hotel. The staff are efficent and helpful. The buffet at the hotel is also nice. Had a dinner buffet and was very nice one.
Though situated on a narrow road, there is a sufficient parking space offered by this hotel. It was for a conference I went there and hence was exposed only to the party hall and associated areas. The hall was spacious and had separate area for serving and having food. Dias was also there for conducting programs. Well maintained hall and lavatories. Good staffs and management.
Good hotel with spacious rooms. The buffet breakfast was awesome. Rooms are a tad old, but well maintained. The staff was courteous and was very fast to act even though I checked in late. Overall a good stay!

Good quiet friendly place. Choice of drinks not that great, but all popular brands available. Not very costly. Very friendly people.
Only complaint is about snacks - like all other 'high end' restaurants they don't have much Kerala / 'naadan' options. Mainly North Indian food.
Overall - very good place. Will visit again.
[I don't understand why these restaurant can't provide items like kaapa, parippu vada, bajji, potato curry (for porotta or chapathi) etc. May be they think people won;t pay premium for these 'local' dishes? This is not a Classic Sarovar issue, it's with all such restaurants. ]
Good hotel. But the reception guys were not so receptive. They dont even care to accompany us to the room while checked in to the hotel. The food was also not that good
Nice place. The front office people were friendly. Getting an auto very early morning i.e. 3 am to go to Padmanabh Swamy emple maybe difficult. Breakfast at the hotel was good.
The hotel is very good with respect to ambience, a good reception place. Looks good. But services lack in hospitality, upfront help. I guess this makes up for a cheaper rates compared to other such well known hotels. The breakfast options are excellent. You'll enjoy this one. If it's included in package, it won't burn a hole in your pocket. Overall a great deal if booked in some offer or discounts.

Another major star hotel of the town. The rooms are cozy, food is good, service is impressive, rate are nice and the parking is appreciative. They do have a professional approach for everything. The buffet spread is really impressive and bigger than usual star hotels. They have a good staff force as well
It is like every other Sarovar. Rooms r clean and hygienic. Southindian dishes in breakfast are good to try, located centrally. Has a good Spa option at walking distance and railway station, airport is also not far off.
The location is good and the place is super cool. A smiling and happy reception and very cooperative hotel staff! Rooms were clean and spacious enough! The railway station and bus station is close by (500 mtrs). One of the coolest hotels in this area for sure. Give it a try!
I recently stayed there with family for two days. I must mention prishth and cons of hotel here. Pros: clean and very quiet interior. Central air con. Clean linen and bathroom. Helpful staff. No hassle check in n check out. Good room service. Excellent buffet breakfast with variety in North indian, south indian and continental/ american menus. Cons: There is no place in hotel where you can smoke. Glass windows are fixed and don't open, fire/ smoke detectors are everywhere. On has to go out of hotel to smoke. Secondly, the street leading to main road from hotel is not levelled and was in dire need of repair. Overall a good place to stay in vicinity of railway station and bus stand. I even walked to Shree padmanabh swami temple in the morning hours.
Room was tidy and hotel was good. Room size was ok but bathroom was congested. It was a real value for money. Location was fine, hardly 2Km from Bus Stand and Railway station, but commuting to the location was hard. There was no pre arrangements made for me. There was no towels or bath kit in the room. There was no Iron box or locker which mostly all 4Star hotels provide. Room service team were excellent by their service. They will be there on your phone call. What i felt was they will 'only' provide these complimentary items only on the demand. If you ask they will give if you dont ask they are more happy. Check in was smooth but while checking out the asked me to wait to check damages in the room.
I visited classic sarovar portico for official purpose. They have a good bouquet hall of capacity more than 80 pax. Good restaurant, Good reception and a ample parking for 4 and 2 wheeler, the main thing I have noticed the behaviour of staff it's beyond words. Good hospitality visit there.
Sarovar properties are managed well. I somehow liked this place in Trivandrum. Very close to the business/shopping/eating markets. Very good eateries around. Hotel has quite expensive restaurant. Staff is too courteous and amenities provided are really good at the price. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious, well lit. They have tried a good interior which can be improved with time. Stayed there for the first time & recommend everyone to stay. Book through travel portals for a better deal. I had great stay during my business trip and time worth spent there. Access to hotel is quite narrower so I preferred walking from the main road.
The hotel was good. They have well behaved and friendly staff. Rooms are amazing. They have a mini bar and snacks in rooms, but they charge almost double the MRP of the snacks. The quality of food is good. But the road to the hotel is bad and narrow
