Cochin Gymkhana club

Lot of improvement club has made comparing to least year. Open areas fully tiled and and kept for functions.

Our go to club in Cochin near the backwaters. One of the old ones in Cochin. Enjoy the backwaters, good food and lawn seating. Having spent qualifying time over the past 10 years, Gymkhana is close to our hearts.

Well.it's a membership based club.so it has its own pros & cons. Approaching the property is a bit difficult from the main road. The plus point is the landmark "Toc-H school". Is adjacent to it. It seems they never serve Cocktail mix.only liquor & beer. Food is average. Ambience might be good during morning time since it's a waterfront property. But the water is totally covered by seaweed.and looks very pathetic. The service staff is very helpful. We hired a 15 person capacity AC room. Overall it was an amazing time and we enjoyed it.

Nice ambience with enough facilities.
They had parking area, restaurant, AC and non-AC bar tables, open lawn (evening only), floating dining/party area, roof-topped multipurpose area with a stage, billiards room etc.
Dress code - Shorts are not allowed in the bars!

Good place for family function and partys. Their staff is also very cooperative and good service rendered by them. Such a nice ambience and vibes. Nice room and facilities.

The Cochin Gymkhana is one of the premier clubs in the state of Kerala. It is situated in the city of Kochi, renowned as the Queen of Arabian Sea. It is a club which emphasizes activities involving participation by the entire families of its members. The club has nearly 1200 members at present; most of them have excelled themselves in their professions and callings.

The place is having vrat ambience; however, the rooms are not maintained. Stale smell of old wood and unused place

Members only club silent and worth investing. If you like to be a part of a closed group with previlage. And BAR.

Main course of food was poor and over priced.

Ambience was dull really dull

It's a private club with decent ambience. It is on the lake side and you can party in the house boat in their private jetty. The facilities are limited to Members and their guests.

One of the best clubs in Cochin, that too a waterfront one. They have nice executive rooms as well well appointed bar. They serve tasty snacks and main course. Highly recommended

Today I had visited the Cochin Gymkhana and had attended a meeting with my batchmates which was held at the floating restaurant and it was found to be very comfortable. But the presence sea weeds in the Chilavannur River is diminishing its natural beauty. We were served very tasty non vegetarian dishes and rice which were enjoyed by all of us. In fact its my first visit to this club and I am fond of visiting this place again. The premises are kept very neat and tidy and there is ample parking place in the front area. The staff on duty were found to be very well behaved.

Cochin Gymkhana is one of its kind a unique family club in Kochi city. A wide open spacious river front loan area to party and play off, a floating restaurant, a full fledged bar lounge, billiards table, cricket, volleyball and basketball turf, cards play room, a multi cuisine restaurant, good rooms, well equipped facilities and good staffs. Much more to say. Its a great club with an elegant crowd and quality members.

They gotta eledrs forum, a Cyclist, Bikers and also a hikers club too. Do visit and avail a membership.

The property is not very well maintained, the service is too casual. Both need an upgrade. The food is worth a try though.

The friend ricr is to die for. The ambience and the permit room boys are so friendly.the service is great

Excellent parking facilities.the backwaters were stinky of course.the rooms were not upto the mark.

A good place to get a party started. With it's backwater view, it makes the place more attractive

This space is situated near to the lake, which is the main attraction. For conducting parties of crowd below 500 it will be more comfortable.

Nice ambience as its on the banks backwaters. Members only or thru member reference. Good for a night party. Thay also have few AC rooms.

Wonderful place to conduct functions. Very spacious and surroundings are beautiful. I personally liked it very much

A nice place to make a get together, receptions functions etc. Halls with different sizes are available there. A floating Hall is available there. The place is calm and of scenic beauty because of its location near the riverside
