Colachal Stadium

On Aug 10,1741 in a most unique amphibious battle the forces of King Marthanda Varma defeated the Dutch, both at sea&land. In memory of this historic battle, the military station at Pangode (Tvm) had named its stadium after the venue of the famous battle.

A big stadium controlled by Indian Army. Civilians not allowed. Venue for army recruitment and training.
