The restaurant is good in the sense of food quality. Customer care is also excellent. The thing lacking is a good ambiance.

Just loved their food. They have maintained the quality and quantity in a descent proportion. Clear and nice place. With proper sitting.for quality was great.

Waiting for food for 45 minutes to 1 hour is too much and too when we are in a very much hungry mood.

Restaurant is clean and with well furnished interiors. Had Sweet n corn soup, chapati and Garlic chicken. Soup and garlic chicken were having the over taste of sause also garlic chicken was sweeter which was not good.

With regards to Chinese food, it's very very bad. To be Frank it's not Chinese at all.

** Worthless** worst service, ordered meals, waited for 35 minutes for just meals (which is normally ready in hotels) customers have to stand beside table, ask to clean and then sit. (Waiters will come across if you are lucky enough). Meals rated 200+ is not even worth 70 rupees! Never had such a bad experience. Glasses smelled like fish (god knows when was it washed last)

Below average. The quality and quantity is poor. Horrible fierd rice and the schewan chicken had indian flavour.

Pathetic experience. Especially poor service from the staff. Dragon chicken felt sticky and it was not properly cooked. Spoon restaurant lost its old charm

Average Staff behavior, and their responses are poor. Mutton biriyani was good. Too much waiting time for food. Customers have to stand beside table and ask to clean. Have a little parking area. Ambiance is good.

Shame to the old owners and the name of Copper Spoon. Used to be one of my favorites until it changed to Ameer's Spoon. High waiting times, rude staff, bad ambience (used to be one of the best in Thrissur) and average food. Please remove the name Spoon to avoid further ruining it's glory.

The mutton biriyani was especially mouth-watering, with the mutton cooked very tenderly and the authentic aroma of Kerala biriyani was an added flavour.
The gulab jamun had this additional cinnamon flavour which enhanced its taste and let you indulge in this delicacy.

Such a bad experience. Heavy rates cannot be justified with such bad food. Never recommend even for enemies.

Very bad service as the waiters kept us on waiting. The sad part was there were others who were also ignored and all of them decided to walk out and go to another restaurant. Also we could see the hygiene was very bad as some of the waiters were also not wearing the masks properly during this time of pandemic. I do not recommend at all and also believe there are many other people who have the same opinion.

Eating a veg meal with just the set tray curry (aviyal, thoran, pachadi, 2 chamanthi (coconut and red dry chilli), pickle, single mulak kondattam, payasam) and a small bowl of sambar and paying 150/- for a very average food is not worth it, ""with more than 1/2 an hr waiting time! ""

Food is highly commendable won't recommend if you go there alone as the service is very slow especially during the afternoon. I had to wait 30minutes for a waiter to show up.

I was a biriyani lovr from this place for last 5 years. But today 20/03/2021 I had a worst experience.i ordered only for 2 chicken biriyanis. With papad i got fish waste.i enquired them with the same. But the response was normal. I am attaching the pic with this post.

The food was alright.and not to mention, that they're more enthusiastic to bring the cheque faster than the food itself.so not really going back there again.

Extremely poor service. Two types of soup ordered, brought separately for five guests. That too cold.
Three curries brought one after other with gap of nearly ten minutes. The rotis which came first became cold and stiff by the time last curry came.

This was one of my favorite place in thrissur. Not anymore.
I went to get some lunch. The place was so jam packed, esp during Corona cases being very high in Kerala. So I decided to take parcel.

I tried calling every waiter there to get my parcel, nobody even cared to look. Finally I got to speak to a waiter. I told him what I wanted. He went inside for a while, came back and said, someone named Captain is in charge of taking 'take away' order. I waited for long and no bloody captain came. There were still more people pouring in like wilderbeasts during migration in Masai Mara. And I like a flabergasted tourist couldn't take it anymore and left the scene. I really wanted to type this.lol.

It's simple, these people don't care about customers who come to take parcel as it is just small percentage compared to the customers who come to eat there, mainly because they are insufficient to handle huge orders. Pathetic!
Unprofessional!

No proper management. Went in at 1500hrs with my guests. None of the tables were cleaned despite having a good number of vacant tables. Told that food is available. But after waiting about half an hour the waiter told that only biriyani available. We accepted but to our dismay after some time informed that biriyani also not available. My conscience took a beating.

Sunday pleae don't come here. Bring some snacks to ming meanwhile they bring food.don't bring if any one is diabetic by waiting people will fall!

Just ok. That's all. Nice interior. Have a little parking place. Food is ok. Not especially recommend taste. Washroom maintained average deal. Near parayil agencies and Jaya Lakshmi silks. Average staff behaviour. Delivery and responses are poor. Maintaining Covid protocol and food cost didn't meet quality. #thrissur #costly

Meals and chicken biryani I had from restaurant but is not good taste and also it was so expensive.customer service is very bad, Good ambience not good at taste.

Usually it is great to be there for dinner. But Sunday 14.02.2021 we had to wait 1 hour to get starters. They never bothered to tell in advance that it will take time. Maybe Manager Justin was on leave that day, Sunday night 6-9 PM they should expect good crowd. Management should look into it. Chicken pepper masala (gravy) was not fresh. Limited menu is understandable. Overall a frustrating experience that day. Hope they will improve. Reason to post this review was due to lackluster performance by the staff at present. For the rates charged for food we expect better food and service. Let the crowd know that only limited menu is being served well in advance and with a smiling face let the customers know well in advance that it will take time to prepare, not 1 hour for starters though. There are words like sorry, thank you etc which the staff needs to be trained for.

Food was really bad this time. Not at all worth the wait. Spent more than an hour to get 2 starters and soup. And even more than that for the main course. After spending 2 hours almost, didn't get half of the main course. Everything is served with such delay and one dish at a time! Never going back!

Custom service was poor.we have to wait like an hour to get main course. It's not about just manning the place during crowd.there was nothing called courtesy to come and inform on any delay.disgruntled or rather disappointing

They give only the special menu unless we ask them for the south Indian menu which they verbally call out. I ordered biriyani, really bad taste you get better ones at smaller shops. I was not satisfied with the food. I wouldn't suggest this place.

You will get great cuisine over here.

Pathetic service. You won’t even get the starter until you finish the desserts also. Staff also are not at all courteous. Don’t know the quality of food as we didn’t even got it served till about 2 hours after placing the order

The restaurant has good ambience. The restaurant is convenient to reach. The parking spaces are limited, but there is always the option of road side parking near. The menu changed from the last time we visited. Hence j can't give a comparative review. This time they were serving Chinese cousins. The food was exceptionally good in comparison to other places we been to. The noise level was really low and it creates an easy and comfortable atmosphere. The service delay was the only problem that bothered us. Hope the restaurant will try to serve the meals to hungry guests faster in the future.

Good staff, great ambience, neat washrooms, yum food, decent pricing, ample parking. I went during covid times, they were using all protocols and distancing measures. Menu was lil cut short, which is totally acceptable. They had a special menu on Asian treat which was amazing! We had nice spicy soup and starters from it. The fried rice was yum too. The Indian food was also spicy and good. Icecream had good flavour too. Though tender coconut pudding could be less of jelly and more soft! A good dinner time with family assured.
