Pleasant and a comfortable stay at cuckmere resort Hospitality exceeds expectation, Very Courteous and helpful staffs. Located well by the riverside, with mountains and river views from the rooms. Infinity swimming pool with a view. Continental breakfast. Highly recommended. Must visit.

It's ok to stay with your friends and family but you have to ask for basic things like room slippers or side table hahaha yes they have side table only on one side of the bed only not both side like normal hotel rooms have on both sides.the food is good they have north Indian menu and breakfast is complimentary the timings are from 7: 30-9: 30 am and 7: 30-9: 30pm for dinner.

Location of this hotel is Good. Staff are also excellent & co-operative. Rooms are also spacious. Overall stay was excellent. Highly recommended to stay.

Superb rooms. Excellent view. Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Hotel is clean. Focussed on preserving nature. Very minute details are also observed. Big point of improvement would be the food. Especially the taste.and the variety they provide.

Love at first sight. This place is wonderful. The usp is the view. When you wake up to something like that, there wouldn't be any complaints. Friendly staffs, descent food and what not. Will definitely come back guys.

My experience here was amazing. This place is a peaceful and relaxing place. The pool as well as the restaurant has an amazing view of the river and hills. The staff here is very welcoming and kind.
Here you can choose between à la carte or all you can eat buffet which is worth it.
My only complain would be asking for an extra mattress took a long time to reach the room. This place is also pretty far from the city.
But that aside I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting.

It is a very nice hotel with very soft spoken and welcoming people. The location is very nice with very very nice view. The hotel was clean, but the service could be a little faster. The prices also felt reasonable. You can take cab to visit places nearby.

We had a lovely stay at the Cuckmere Resorts for 2 nights after finding the hotel online and deciding on a smaller property instead of the large ones in the Munnar area. As soon as we pulled up we received a wonderful greeting from the front office staff. They couldn’t have made us feel more welcome to their property and had a welcome drink ready for us.

We was then shown to our room and was told where everything was and how to use it which is a lovely touch at the resort. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I think maybe the rooms could do with pictures on the walls and more soft furnishings to make it feel more cosy as they are quite basic looking. The view from the balcony can’t be beat it’s simply stunning over looking the hills and the river. We especially enjoyed a coffee on the balcony each morning listening to the birds sing away.

We had breakfast each morning, lunch on the day of arrival and dinner both nights. They have a varied menu offering a selection of Indian and Chinese food which I’m sure would suit everybody dining there. The only real issue we encountered was at both lunch and dinner we was advised the dishes that we ordered wasn’t available mainly due to the clay oven either not been fired up for lunch or apparently broken at dinner. This was disappointing to be told this over 3 separate meals especially when not advised about this before we sat down and especially when a clay oven is the heart of Indian cooking. Again the dining area would be further improved by having more ambience in there at night with nicer table settings, more plants and softer lights along with music playing. The lady that served us each day though was lovely and took a interest in how we was liking Munnar and told us about the area. The chef also came out two nights to speak with us.

We didn’t use the pool whilst staying there but it looked nice and clean and has a lovely view from the end overlooking the valley. The pool area did have a terrace but sadly this lacked any tables and chairs to sit outside to enjoy a coffee or a cold drink. This area could be vastly improved with sun beds, chairs, tables and plants. This area could be made very nice.

WiFi worked well in the property most of the time but we did have some slow times especially in the room when we needed it to plan the next part of our trip.

Overall though we had a pleasant stay at the Cuckmere and we couldn’t fault the staff for their hospitality and was made to feel very welcome. The basics are definitely there at the resort it just needs small improvements to be made with regards to appearance and furnishings of the rooms, restaurant and terrace to make it stand out from the rest of the resorts in the Munnar area and to give it a true boutique cosy feel. If you are planning on sightseeing across Munnar in the day then this is a great place to rest your head at night. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us during our stay.

Horrible experience, situated far away from munnar, deep down 4 to 5 kms in worst kaccha roads, no signage, useless place to book, deserted area, totally dark and scary, never ever go by travel agents who get high commissions on booking.such isolated place.
