Daya general hospital is very good hospital. Patients are well taken care of.very good behavior from hospitality administration. Especially gre jeena.they take good care. Behaving well

The staffs are welcoming and attentive especially jeena mam and Gayathri mam. It was an good experience to me.

This is our first experience at Daya hospital palliative care. I would like to specially thank the palliative team headed by Dr Mukesh. The team is taking good care of my wife Valsala devi, 77years in these difficult situations. Iam grateful to the palliative team work, particularly in home service.

We have been visiting Daya General care hospital in the past 4 years and the care and concern extended to us is very much remarkable.
There is some improvement required in the area of parking. Though there is lot of space we have to wait for more time as there is nobody to control the proper movement of vehicle.

Great service of hospitality department.especially, Anisha helped very much and her efforts are great.

It was great experience all the staffs including Doctors, Nurses are very gentle and caring, when ever calling for help always nurses and administration staffs are there for helping with a smile on face. I'm leaving the hospital today in a very good mood. Everyone was very helpful and cooperative, Especially the discharge process was easy and simple.

Checkup package and everything was good.
But food charges? 17/- for a porotta? And also only one piece of chicken in chicken curry worth 85? Will not recommend others to buy food from Daya food mall cause it's too costly

Excellent medical facilities, Dr Sreejith's diagnostic skills also was very good. Improvement required: 1) preparation room washroom was at a higher level and patient's had difficulty in climbing (especially for colonoscopy wherein patient's will be using the washroom upteen times)
2) parking has to be expanded ASAP

Hospital is good with all facilities and good doctors, but the attitude of the nurses are the worst there. There is an online booking facility available there, but even if you do the booking and go there, you will not be getting any benefits. Sometimes, people come directly without any booking will go ahead of people waiting with an online booking. Worst time management and rude staff. Ended visiting here for an emergency, won't be stepping inside this one more time.

I am Syam, I have visited Daya Hospital Laboratory on 26th of August 2022. It's seems very difficult to drawn blood from my veins by many of other hospitals and labs, They are tried two or three times.
But in Daya Hospital, they are easily drawn blood at firstly for tests.
Lab Collection Staff, who named Suma was really experienced.
Also Laboratory services are good.

Had to undergo a surgery in my hand due to spurting bleeding from a wound. From the moment i reached causality department until i got discharged i was taken care extremely well by all the nurses and doctors. I would like to mention the names of nurse Liffin, Dr Amjad and Dr Emil Joseph and the nurses in operation theater (dont know their names) in particular. They made me feel so comfortable with their extreme care and service. Hospital has all facilities and its clean and well maintained.

Our sincere thanks to all the staff of Daya hospital, Thrissur, for the love n concern they showed to our dear father Dr. K. RAGHAVAN NAMBIAR. They took care of him in every humanly possible way.

We remember with gratitude; all the nursing staff, especially Sister Jessy and other sisters of ICU, who felt our pulse too and were too kind to us.

I admitted my old father for appendicitis and rupture. Post surgery he was put in ventilator and icu all while saying he is physically okay. When asked they mentioned he is acute alcoholic and tied his leg and hands. While no liver issues were found and he had post anaesthesia delirium which is common in old people.

Post surgery they put him in ventilator and when asked they said he has multiple organ failures and pneumonia. When test results came next day none of these issues were found. The trauma we had to go through and the bills accumulated were not small.

All this while neither The surgeon nor nurses were communicating properly. They were rude and were not interested to communicate with us.while in step down icu (which they moved after we raised complaints), when asked what is next course of action surgeon pointed to anaesthesiology department, they told surgeon should take decisions, when i asked both they mentioned psychiatrist should be taking decisions.

When we came back for review they made us run with a patient in stretcher from department to department
Surgeon or nurses did not even support to check if the patient can stand post surgery

issues:
1.no one takes responsibility of patient, doctors just say their observations
2. Surgeon Thilakan was extremely unprofessional
3. Nurses were rude, asked us to feed and clean while in step down icu
4.extremely high bills if you don’t have insurance

felt like we were in a place of business than in a hospital

Hospital is excellent in Healthcare services. Especially their patient relations are way above. Had great experience. Gayathri the head of patient care is equal and to BIS919 GOLD.

I would like to express my words on daya hospital especially gastro team.gastro department doctors and nurses are real angels because they care and treat very well.it doesn't mean remaining department staffs are not good.here I spended 4 days with gastro team that's why I'm telling like this. I forgot one important person in daya hospital.shyni -public relative officer, her character and support is very very superb and me and my family fully thankful to shyni.because she arrange every document works and starting to ending she stand with every patients.after discharging also she keeps relation with all patients. Anyway thank you daya hospital team for giving the best treatment. Thank you thank you so much

No mission, No vision and No passion for work. Please think multiple times before choose Daya hospital.
My experience is also not less than all previous worst reviews given here. Listing key concerns: incompetent nursing, poor administration, pathetic hygiene practices, concern towards one typical doctor surgeon thilakan and no transparency in billing.

The hospital service, especially public relation is highly appreciated. Doctor's service is praiseworthy. The whole premises is well maintained. Salute to the housekeeping team too.

Had come here to do MRI SCANNING not only it was over priced but also the services were pathetic.
The price of doing MRI scanning in other hospitals is actually 1/2 of the price charged here.

The MRI SCANNER is so outdated it literally was vibrating the entire time and made the experience the worst.

I would highly recommend hospitals like MVR, Aster medicity, lakeshore center where the price is more affordable and at least the price would be worth it.

Hospital areas are highly hygiene, neet and clean.

Very good service… We had an amazing experience with Dr. Meera Raveendran (Gynecologist) and her assistants. We felt that we are in safe hands. Even though the nurses were busy they were giving lovely care and suport to the patients. The atmosphere is very neat and clean. Overall we were happy for the services given by them.

They had good service until few years ago but right now, the main issue with them is the customer service. They are really prompt with the billing for obvious reasons but the service is pathetic. To add a few more, the nurses aren't qualified enough to understand the psychology of the patients. The doctors are really polite and humble and great with the service but the nurses have some next level attitude. The floor attendants are very casual with the amenities. People shift to private hospitals and are ready to pay more for the service, but what more can we do than pay. There should be some. Positivity from there side too.

I had a very bad experience with Daya Hospital, i came today in EMERGENCY MEDICINE & TRAUMA CARE (on 23-Jul-2022) with my wife (she herself a doctor) because she accidently fell down in bathroom and she badly hit her left hand and leg, as the instructions from doctor we took x ray and as per the x ray result he told that their is no fracture on her hand and leg, he give us medicine;as a second opinion we went to government medical collage Thrissur with the same x ray the orthopedic department of government medical collage thrissure found that she has a fracture on her leg, if your doctors not qualified to find it why your posting them on casualty?

Good doctors, but poor administration… bystander don’t have any rooms for 3 days… finally icu patient cannot be brought outside as they don’t know where the key is… poor drastic management… the doctor told the patient can be shifted to icu by 4pm, but the management didn’t provide room till 8pm, finally discussed again and again and got the room. Once room is ready icu sister needs paper work for 2 hours… there is lots of gap which management need to fill up. There is no value for customer happiness.

Very bad experience with this hospital they are giving important to the patients the doctors are giving importance to their personal works and to the medical representative

Very pathetic to write a mail like this to you. It's all about bitter experience faced by us on this day. Not only me, few of others also might had the same experience. But how of many of them address the issue is matters.

On 19.05.2022 I have took an appointment in Karkinos Division of Dr. Sourabh Radhakrishnan for my husband. He has been under Saurabh sir's medication for more than an year. On 20.05.2022, both of us came at Hospital. While chek in, the lady at Booking KIOSK told us that Dr. Sourabh sir is not available. But we told that we had took appointment. Then she told us that please ask at reception counter. We did that. The staffs sitting at reception counter confirmed that doctor is available and having his OP day. We have gone back to KIOSK and told her doctor is available. Then she told that, please wait and let her ask. We have gone with her to reception counter and she told to staffs at reception counter that Dr. Sourabh sir is unavailable and few of them asked about refund of their OP fees and she had guided them to counter. Then only the reception staffs have started to call Karkinos division and asked about doctors availability.

It means that the person serving at KIOSK knows better than who sits at reception. Then what is the need for a reception / booking counter like this at Hospital. They should at least have the manners to inform a patient in advance when doctor is unavailable. Since that we experience in most of the hospitals (except few blacklisted). Then I asked at Reception why don't you inform this and why appointment has been taken even in doctors absence. Then reception staffs told that in Karkinos, booking is for the team and not for a particular doctor and it is a separate division working there.

Then I told we came to meet a particular person and not a team. Only becuase of him we came here. If he has moved from here we will go there like what we are doing now. Because even before he joined Karkinos, my husband had been under his treatment. I told this matter to public relations department of the hospital. As a separate division Karkinos is not functioning at Vadakke Stand, it is still in the premises of Daya Hospital itself. For appointment call is being done at Hospital number, Booking fee is collecting at Hospital, Receipt is also issuing by Hospital. If all that being is done by hospital, the staffs must be aware of doctors availability and not tell it is a seperate division.

Experience at public relationship department is also bitter. They began to tell about Karkinos, then I told if you need we will tell you about it's evolution.dissatisfaction. It should be changed. Like all a service industry takes many years to grow and to acquire trust. But how much time will it take to loose it. Please mind cheap mouth marketing is powerful than paid marketing.

I have visited the Daya hospital for the pregnancy related treatment of my wife. The most visited area was the radiology department. The staffs were very cooperative. The detailed reporting of the scan has to be appreciated. It gives a clear cut and detailed analysis of the scan done and thus it is so helpful for reference to any medical practitioner.

Thank you mrs. Bhavya to be with us. And daya have a wonderful customer relation team including bhavya, who were really helpful for people like us. And also daya hospital is well disciplined initiative with 100% satisfying services to public.

Good hospital esp for Trauma care. Easy access and good parking facility too. The management is very customer friendly. There's also an excellent food court inside.

I underwent Surgery for Herina performed by Dr Arun S Nair. The staff and facilities were good. PRO Shiny and other staff were very helpful. Amenities have improved a lot as compared to past and staff are eager to help in whatever way possible. I thank the Dr and staff and recommend them for others too

Helpfull and friendly staff. The system deals with thousands patients efficiently every day. No cut thoat business usually practiced by private hospitals. Trustworthy and reliable. Yesterday i had consulted Dr. Roy abraham at 11 am for back pain. Got both the CT scan MRI results sent to doctor by 4: 30. I got the prescriptions and advice by 7 pm.
I am getting regular help from hospital for prostatitis and thyroiditis.
