Excellent doctors and staffs at devamatha hospital who are always at our service. Also a warm experience from the Insurance department and Dr. Pearl.

The services that I receive from Devamatha Hospital is excellent. Dr. Pearl Mary and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my daughter health and care. I would have no qualms in recommending them to friendly and friends.

I am a Doctor and I was really disappointed when writing this review about a hospital and staffs. Their treatment methods are very pathetic and wrong. Behaviour of staffs are horrible and its seems like they are working in a slaughterhouse. They are only focusing on money so the patients are not getting proper treatment and care. Basically not providing the necessary medicines to patients, Moreover unnecessary medicines are given which are not recommended for the symptoms. The management will definitely work on this matter and take appropriate action to avoid such incidents in future. Every patients life is our hand and we are responsible for their health.

Really bad experience with the incharge sister (convent sister), from the department of gynaecology (pls educate her how to behave with the patient), Also no adequate staff for the patient care. All staffs are doing their maximum for patient care except this nun. She doesn't know actual patient care. So irritating character.

My parents are admitted in this hospital recently. I have insurance but the admission desk and the nursing staffs on they admitted ward doesn't discuss about the insurance related queries. When i discuss with my agent about this admission, i came to know the rest procedures of insurance and also he told me that hospital is empaneled with my insurance that i alreday have. But i paied the bills and time is over. That time i went to MR. Lalson (PRO) and Mr. Mathews (insurance) guide me for the further procedures.
Overall the admission desk and the nursing staffs doesnt have any responsibility with there job and some of the staffs like Mr. Lalson and Mr. Mathews are highley helpfull in any situation.

Doctors are highly professional and staffs are very cooperative. The service provided by Mr. Mathews Jose is highley valuable and he was really helpfull throughout the session

Highley qualified and well experienced doctors are available 24*7, staff behaviour is really impressive especially Mr. Mathews Jose, he is so polite in nature does all the formalities by her own i have never seen such a helpful staff in any hospital.

The worst hospital ever. If you can, please don't go there. Everything they does is just for money. The only aim of them is to get the Maximum money from patients. They would tell you to buy a ton of medicines so that they can earn money.
A baby who was just 4 months old have been taken to the hospital due to fever. They told the family to buy a lot of medicine. But even after two weeks the fever kept rising. So they asked to shift the hospitals. The hospital management was hesitant but they managed to shift the baby to another hospital. They had her go straight into icu. And was admitted for days. Turns out that devamatha hospital was giving her the medicines for a 12 year old and was trying to steal their money.

Got to tell you an important thing never trust the lab reports of this hospital. In the reports it said that the function of all organs were perfect when literally heart and lungs were the only organs that functioned.

What a horrible experience! You better die at home peacefully than going to this hospital. Every medicine that they gave to my father just made his condition worse. The doctor did talked really nice but the treatment they did was terrible. Would never want to visit this hospital ever again even if i had no other choice. It's the worst hospital.

It's a good hospital and fully functioned and there is good doctor's and especially one of the staff Mr. Mathews is a good person with good behaviour and he helped to get the insurance papers fast for me.

ഇൻഷൂറൻസ് ക്ലെയിം ചെയ്യുവാൻ ആയിട്ട് ആരും ദയവുചെയ്ത് ഈ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ വരരുത് എന്ന കാര്യം പ്രത്യേകം ഓർമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു ഇവിടെ ക്യാഷ്‌ലെസ്സ് സൗകര്യമില്ലാത്തതും തുടർന്ന് നമ്മൾ reimbursement ചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കിൽ അതിനുവേണ്ട സഹായങ്ങൾ PRO ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് ലഭിക്കുകയുമില്ല. ഒരു Lady PRO വർഷങ്ങളായിട്ട് ഈ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ഇരിപ്പുണ്ട് പത്ത് പൈസയുടെ ഉപകാരം ഇവരിൽ നിന്നും ഒരു രോഗിക്കും ഇന്നേവരെ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല. ഇൻഷുറൻസിന് വേണ്ട documents നമുക്ക് സമയത്ത് ലഭിക്കുകയില്ല കുറഞ്ഞത് ഒരു മാസം കാലാവധി അവർ ചോദിക്കും പിന്നീട് ഒന്നും clear documents ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയില്ല.

Please do not go to the hospital. The are give importance to the money. The staff nurse (not all) are behaving very badly and do not give the care to the patient's even it was 1 year child. I have to say one think that the" doctor's are good in behaviour.

The hospital metion on the board that "LIGHTED FOR SERVICE " but its only on the board not in work. Its not the lighted for service.

It is fully functional hospital with good doctors n specialists. I think the bone - doctor here.has a good name amongst the country folks. It's a decent hospital.

Plse do not go this hospital for any critical illness, they will treat you and ask the bystanders to take the patient elsewere no mercy towards patients very bad service

A mission hospital which is a right place for minor illnesses. Not useful for cases where super specialists are needed.

Such a pathetic place. The only hospital in koothattukulam. They treat casuality people who come in extreme pain with zero first aid response and filled with procedures.

Administration is very poor, They empasis everbody to get antigen test done but they don't have the basic necessities.bed sheets are not available for patients for 3,4 days.

Blade banks are better than this. NO Hospitality or Service! As this is the only hospital available in town, No Other choice for the Public. Staffs are very reluctant & rude!

വർഷങ്ങളായി ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ആശുപത്രിയാണ്. ഇന്ന് വാഹനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വീണ് ചെറിയ പരുക്കുമായി രാവിലെ കാഷ്വാലിറ്റിയിൽ ചെന്നു. പുതിയ നഴ്സായതിനാൽ വളരെ ശ്രദ്ധാപൂർവ്വം മുറിവുകൾ ക്ലീൻ ചെയ്ത് കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചോദിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ് മരുന്നു പുരട്ടി. കൈ മടങ്ങുമ്പോൾ വേദനയുണ്ടെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ എക്സറേ എടുത്ത് നോക്കാമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞത് ഡോക്ടറാണ്. അത് കൂട്ടത്തിലെ ഹെഡ് നഴ്സായിരിക്കണം അവർക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടില്ല. എന്നെ പരിചരിച്ചത് മറ്റൊരു പാവം നഴ്സാണ്. എന്നാൽ ആദ്യമായാണ്. തുടക്കം മുതൽ അവസാനം വരെ രോഗിയെ ഇത്ര നല്ല രീതിയിൽ ഒരു നഴ്സ് ദേവമാതയിൽ പരിഗണിക്കുന്നത്. അവരോട് നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു മരുന്നു വാങ്ങാൻ കൗണ്ടറിൽ എത്തി. രാവിലെ മുതൽ കൂടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന സഹായിയെ പേഴ്സ് ഏൽപ്പിച്ച് ഞാൻ പുറത്തേക്ക് പോകുന്നത് ഡോക്ടറുടെ കുറിപ്പടി കൗണ്ടറിൽ കൊടുത്ത നഴ്സ് കണ്ടതാണ്. അഴിഞ്ഞുപോയ മുണ്ട് ഒരു കൈ കൊണ്ട് ഉടുക്കേണ്ടതിനാൽ പാർക്കിംഗ് ഗ്രൗണ്ടിന്റെ ഒരു വശത്ത് മാറി നിന്ന് മുണ്ടുടുക്കാൻ പോയി. പയ്യൻ മരുന്നു വാങ്ങി പണമടയ്ക്കാൻ കൗണ്ടറിന് മുന്നിൽ നിൽപ്പുണ്ട്. പാർക്കിംഗ് ഗ്രൗണ്ടിൽ ഒരു കൈ തൂക്കിയിട്ട് അടുത്ത കൈ അഴിഞ്ഞ മുണ്ടിൽ പിടിച്ചു നിന്ന എന്നെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ കാഷ്വാലിറ്റിയിലെ തലമൂത്ത നഴ്സിന് തോന്നിയത്രെ ഞാൻ ബില്ലടയ്ക്കാതെ പോകുന്നതാണെന്ന്. 3 സെക്യൂരിറ്റികളോടും ഏന്നെ ചൂണ്ടി എന്തൊ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. അവസാനം ഒരു സെക്യൂരിറ്റി വന്നിട്ട് പറയുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ ബില്ലടയ്ക്കാനുണ്ടെന്ന്. പയ്യനവിടെയുണ്ടെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അയാൾക്ക് പേരും ചരിത്രവും അറിയണം. രോഗികളുടെ കൂടെ വന്നവർ കാര്യം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ കാശടയ്ക്കാതെ മുങ്ങിയതല്ല. അകത്താളുണ്ട് പോയി നോക്കൂ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് ഞാൻ എല്ലാവർക്കും കാണാൻ സാധിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് തന്നെ വന്നോ നിന്നു. അപ്പോഴും ബാക്കി സെക്യൂരിറ്റികൾ 500 രൂപ അടയ്ക്കാതെ ഞാൻ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടേക്കാമെന്ന് കരുതി സൂക്ഷ്മമായി നിരീക്ഷിയ്ക്കുന്നു. പണമടച്ച് മരുന്നും വാങ്ങി പയ്യൻ അടുത്തു വന്നപ്പോൾ ഒരുത്തന്റെയും പൊടിപോലുമില്ല.
ആദ്യത്തെ ദുരനുഭവമാണ്.
ആളെനിർത്തുന്നത് കണ്ട നഴ്സ് തന്നെ ബില്ലടയ്ക്കാതെ ഞാൻ പോകുന്നുവെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞതാണ് ആശ്ചര്യകരം.
ഇത്രയും തലയ്ക്ക് വെളിവില്ലാത്ത കുറച്ചാളുകളെ എന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ മറ്റൊരു ആശുപത്രിയിലും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.
ശരിയാണ്. ഉന്നത നിലവാരമുള്ള ഡോക്ർടർമാരാണ്
ഓർത്തോവിഭാഗത്തിൽ മികച്ച ഡോക്ടർമാരുണ്ട്. എല്ലാം ശരിയാണ്.
പക്ഷെ മാലാഖമാർ. വേറെ ലെവലാണ്.
ഇനി അവിടേക്കില്ല.

They are not running a hospital. Instead, they are running a business company where people are getting cheated. My mother who underwent a CT scan got a report that said her uterus and ovaries are in good condition whereas she had a history of hysterectomy done years back. See how the management works here. Also, they were not even ready to apologise for their mistake. They never care for the patients, they just care for the money they make. We are planning to move legally.

I have experienced good caring for my mother. Specially department of cardiology. Sister is so caring and understanding she is for the needy. Keep doing good. God bless

As far as I understood from my family’s experience in this hospital this is a 100% MONEY focused Organisation, no matter the patient is living or dying, I doubt whether the Doctors and Nurses in this hospital practise as per Medical ethics or not? I cannot just imagine how medical professionals can violate the medical ethics to gain ONLY money, My family disappointed by losing our loved one while in their care. During this incident, they were just concentrating on making us to pay for unnecessary services. I can say they DON’T HAVE A DUTY OF CARE to the public. They would utilise each chances- so if you go to this hospital, just remember you are getting into a TRAP, can’t easily come out from it. This is my family’s experience. So be Careful my friends.

Nursing care is terrific. I think there isn't sufficient qualified nurses in this hospital. Now feel doubts on NABH accreditation.

Very unprofessional and money minded hospital and staff. No human values towards patients specially dying patients. If you are taking decision against their money making attitude.they will make our loved ones feel like hell by separating family and patients. My father was admitted their during end of his life. We opted with comfort care instead all the invasive procedures like ventilator. They became totally mad and ignorant when they came to know they are unable to bill us for ventilator. They never addressed his pain and ddI anything. Never even let the family to visit even after they knew he is actively dying. These kind of staffs and doctors needs to be terminated from their service to save our loved ones. Looking for official options to file a complaint against this money making butcher shop.

Apart from the other Hospital. Management offers a better treatment facilities although they charges high.

There is no other hospitals providing the facilities.

പ്രദേശത്തെ മികച്ച ആശുപത്രി എന്ന പേര് എടുക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു എന്നത് അവരുടെ നിലവാരം ഉയർത്തുന്നു.:

ചില ക്രിട്ടിക്കൽ അവസരങ്ങളിൽ കൈ മലർത്താനും. കോട്ടയം കാരിറ്റസ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് റെഫർ ചെയുവാൻ വളരെ ഉത്സാഹം കാണിക്കുന്നു എന്നതും സ്ലാഹനീയം തന്നെ.

Trusted place. Good doctors and care. Emergency department is very responsive and able to handle almost any critical situations including accident trauma care and illness emergencies.if they cannot handle, they will refer to nearby large hospitals like medical college, kottayam, medical college kolencherry or rajagiri hospital, near aluva. Overal, the nursing staff are friendly and service minded. Among doctors, Dr. Vinod Sebastian in General Medicine is famous for his dedication and efficiency to diagnose and treat general illness including Gastroenterology related problems.

We had good experience in Emergency room where my daughter treated by the Duty Doctor, nurses and the X-ray technician at around 11pm. The reception staff need more professional attitude.

Very unprofessional staff.my dad lost his life bec of wrong treatment and the nuns are very rude. Do not take if anybody need good medical attention.

Deva Matha Hospital is the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream of the people of Koothattukulam for advanced medical care facilities especially in emergency situations. The hospital was established by the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (SABS), to commemorate the Birth centenary of their Founder Mar Thomas Kurialacherry. The new hospital was solemnly blessed on 14th February 1975 by Rt. Rev. Dr. Sebastian Vayalil, the then Bishop of Palai, in the august presence of his eminent successor Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Pallickaparampil.
