Prawns roast and kappa are a must try. It gets very crowded and their isn't much parking available. The food is definitely worth it. Choora fry is also nice.
Meals are ohk. With two side dish one pickles and 4 options of curry (sambhar, pulissery, dal, rasam) price for meals is 90Rs. Their main highlight is choora fish fry, other varieties were not available during our visit, but fish fry has very good masala and is pretty delicious. Although as per them one set fish fry is 2 good piece, however they tend to provide more than 2 pieces, priced at INR 70. Do check out other varieties available there
Simplicity is the word I'd pick. A restaurant we call the Hotel in all its rustic sense. Taste and quality goes well to the extent that celebs like Rasool Pookutty would find the nostalgia to pay visit. Apart from the food what had taken all my respect for is that you might mostly miss the owner Sasi Annan to be an employee. One won't see him atop there as the boss. He might cover the cas counter while he'd run around to ensure the tables are well attended to or he might as well serve or shadow around the kitchen. That's one big star on their success. That's the key.
. Famous for its delicious Choora fry at very reasonable cost.tasty and in good qty.other fish items also available.with decent meals in banana leaf.definitely worth its cost.
Very very bad service and attitude. The person sitting as cashier is extremely rude. I went there for parcel and his behaviour is as if I was there to beg. Expected a minimum decency. The price is also high.
The place serves good food at low price. I love their egg roast and porotta. Egg roast costs just 25rs and it has a thick gravy. The ambience is not that good. But if you are looking for good food at low price then this is it.
This is similar to another famous restaurant called mubarak Hotel behind Sree padmanabha theatre which serves fish curry meals with variety of fish fry. These 2 outlets are unique for this esp fish items. Prawns, squid also
A simple restaurant, which serves kerala food. You may not feel dining at its best, but you may be satisfied with worth of money. Lunch, which serves in a banana leaf, along with fish curry and tapioca, is a must try. The only cons is, lack of parking space, for such a restaurant situated along roadside, on a two lane street. However, foodies, still find time to, flows to this eatery, during peak hours, from 11: 30 am to 3pm.
