I visited Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital on 31.05.2023 for a general eye check up as a CGHS beneficiary. The services right from the registration point was very prompt and satisfactory.
The experience at the hospital was extremely good and very professional. But earlier when I had contacted over phone for an appointment, (I presume it to be a call centre) the response was not professional at all. The personnel manning the call centre is to be better trained on the requirements of a basic test like the Vision testing.
It was our first visit in your prestigious hospital on 27/02/23. The welcome staff or the lady in the front office behaviour is impolite or rude and it's unbecoming. It was a bad feeling, when i observed, she behaves the same way to everyone. Otherwise every staff and the doctor is polite and explained everything in detail.thank you.
Advance booking not available. Seems to have Intentional delay tactics to keep the waiting room full. This have negative impact than giving a busy hospital impression. Otherwise impresive. Parking facility needs to be improved
Today I visited the hospital with my relatives and the service were very bad. At that time, the staff strength was high and patient traffic was less.we waited for 1 hour to see the doctor. The patient who came after me, was called and given service. I complained the matter and at that time somehow they found out my file and got it done. This hospital is too pathetic and patients should please be aware of this stupid service.
Very well organized eye hospital. Went for a general check up, very good experienc - well trained staff, seating atmosphere & very good doctor. Overall good experience!
I visited this place in evening. All the employees are busy winding up for the day. The technician who checked the power did not record or performed the exercise properly. He was in a hurry to leave for the day, and recorded wrongly. Finally ended up in replacing the lens for no reason. It got delayed by 1 week. Its been 30 years we have been using the spectacles. But its surprising to know that, these kind of silly mistakes from Agarwal Group.
Over-all good arrangement. I have three suggestions for improvement. Too much wastage of paper. Try to avoid giving so many papers to customers. Please adopt a system of giving softcopies of all prescriptions and reports directly to the whatsapp or mail Id's of customers.
Secondly, I will suggest please induce more senior specialists.
And, you can increase consultation fee to Rs 350 but reduce the expenses on spectacles.
Excellent facilities, well experienced down to earth Doctors and supporting staff, very reasonable charges etc are worth highlighting. Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, Tvm is better than the best Eye Hospital in the City. Congrats and Best Wishes. Reception and billing counter can be more organised.
Dr Shine was very friendly and kind that i could speak about all the issues related to my eyes. Sometimes a good listening do wonders. Treatment is also good.
Recently visited this hospital, went around 5: 30, wasnt crowded at all - however service was extremely slow. Dr was decent and care was good. Pharmacist was not there so person from reception had to assist. Parking was also a bit challenging. Overall average rating
Iam relaxed and satisfied. We have got satisfactory solutions for the various eye problems faced by each family member. Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Jay Mathew Perumal and also to all the hospital staff for their cordial behaviour.

Nice place for accurate eye check up at affordable fee, doctor was very good, optometrist was very polite and well mannered, done all test in very less time.
Its a decent hospital with adequate parking. The location is great. I don't blame the hospital but I felt it was crowded all 3 times I have visited there. Covid protocols were being followed, so it was reassuring. Rates are on the higher side but then it's a business and quality service mostly requires higher rates.
I have undergone an eye test 2 weeks before. During examination they said I am having an allergic indication and prescribed a steroid eye drops along with tear drops for my eyes. After using the medicine 1 week later it started appearing reddish in left eye, after 3 days it again appeared in right eye. Again I went to hospital and shown this to the same doctor, she was saying that it's nothing much it's normal, don't worry. She was not informing me the proper reason for the same even though I have asked her alot. Again she prescribed a new eye drops for 15 days duration. Really disappointed
Absolutely zero covid protocol. Nurses don’t wear gloves when they bandage the eyes. Nobody checks you in at the door. The reason.patients don’t want it and are angry at being checked. Keep away from this place if you can.
