Eagle Mountain Resort

Rooms seems to be normal, but the view from balcony is awesome, monsoon is great with the view of rainy and Misty, totally a great time for the eye. Felt really retreated.

Such a fabulous resort with incredible views of the surrounding forest. The roads leading to it are pretty rough so come with an experienced driver. Quiet, secluded, and peaceful. The food served at the restaurant was good and we had sufficient Wi-Fi access considering how remote the location is.

Please dont choose this resort very very pathetic service from the resort team. If you go with kids carry some food otherwise you will be in trouble. Got food at 10pm after begging for long time. (Arrogant Sheff and incapable manager) no one is responsible. And there is no option to buy food from outside. No shops nearby. Room and surroundings also not well maintained.i never ever recommend this place for anyone. I am writing from my heart.no network. No wifi. Bathroom is not proper. No hot water.

It's a real disaster.

Rooms are good and spacious with an amazing view from the balcony. Weak WiFi signal in rooms. The road to reach the resort is bad and it is very difficult to reach. No shops nearby. Poor transportation facilities around the resort.

Worst service and food was ok ok…
If we order food that they give after a couple of hours, we have to keep asking.
They won't give you anything to eat if you don't ask three or four times.
We lost our patience after waited couple of hours and visited their kitchen to get ordered food.
Thers is no welcome drink and starters, for fire camp we need to give 1000rs extra.
There is no basic amenities except medimix soap!
For Wi-Fi we need to go their reception, weak Wi-Fi signals in rooms.
There is no proper road direction to go their resorts,
I think they running resorts for sake purpose….

Only the view from room was good. Food was below average. No parking available and is shared by the nearby tea estate workers accommodation. No proper place to sit outside the room. Bathroom fittings were not proper in one room. No proper maintenance of the property. If you want network coverage during the stay this is not the place.

Very poor service, it is very difficult to collect the paid bills after paying the payment, i called many times, they are not responding properly after taking money. Reception persons also not available in the seats, it very difficult.

Rooms are in pathetic shape. Bedsheets were filthy and tornes. Washrooms were also not maintained. Location is really good just few 100 meters away u have tata tea estate which is a beautiful place. Location is also good but the owner phone is never reachable and you might lose your way as directions are not proper. Food was good but too delayed i suggest order them food in advance so that they can keep things ready in advance.

Great place to stay, the view it provides is simply sublime and a treat to watch. The room service was good, but you'll have to go like 20 kms away from munnar. It's wort it.

Had a very amazing Experience at this resort. View from the rooms are very beautiful. Especially Chef Jijo cooking was too Good and even he made us customised food based on our request. Best place to get away from Usual.

Torn bedspread. No wifi and mobile availability in room. No transportation, waited for two hours but still didn't get any. Food items prices gets increased in bill than that of menu (a handwritten piece of paper).

Resort is ok, food taste also good.

No shops or amenities available with in 4 kms.

It was a much needed break from our busy life, the stay was excellent. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you eagle mountain for the wonderful arrangements.

Really good location. Bit away from the city, but the location is really peaceful with a great view from the room. They have a restaurant inside the hotel, but you may have to order before hand. Pleasant experience. The only difficulty was to get a taxi at checkout as the place is a bit far from town.

Mountain edge. Calm place to relax. Suitable for both family and bachelor. Food a freshly prepared-reasonable price.

Excellent service. Nice view of mountain and breezy music of small waterfalls. Good recommendation for affordable price.

It is a true sample of hospitality.it is a greate place to stay.staff were friendly caring and pleasant, starting from the reception. Meal's are very good and delicious.rooms are warm while outside is very cool with beautiful cardamom plantations.well maintained atmosphere. I highly recommend the resort for locals and foreigners. I would probably choose eagle mountain resort next time as I have experience warm welcomes of the staff.excellent service and pleasantness of resort crew.

Hotel rooms were quite big and clean. Connecting road between the hotel and main is bumpy and distance is long. View outside the balcony is good. Food OK.

Overall I felt it is slightly overpriced!

After several days of constantly moving, I picked this place to unwind and it was perfect. Hidden among the cardamon fields, this hotel provides peace and quiet, with great natural beauty all around.
The food was equal to the food we got at 5 star hotels located in other cities along the cost. The food was delicious, just super good and very hot & served on time.
The obvious choice is to visit top hill station via a jeep ride, thou one could spend several days here if you wanted to hike to visit waterfalls, or be on a boat in the ocean.

The hotel upkeep is excellent with a very clean room without odors, insects or damage.
The mattress was rather comfortable.
The room had a desk to work a full day.
The room lacked AC and ceiling fan however the tall ceilings and balcony kept us very comfortable.
The food was beyond delicious, I regret that I couldn't finish it all.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests.
There are paths that you can follow to walk thru the cardamon fields and get a scenic viewpoint.
We did the jeep tour thru the hotel, it was an great trip.
Town is about a 15 minute drive away nothing to buy within a walk-able distance.
Walking up at dawn as the birds slowly start to sing, then another, then another till an orchestra of animals are all announcing the start of the day.
The walls are rather thin so I could hear the guests TV / conversations very easily.
The hotel is located on a single lane road that should only be driven during daylight hours. The location is very remote, quiet, and everything I could see was green and looked minimally altered by people.
The room was huge with a nice desk, the bathroom was large & comfortable.
The hotel is located in a large building with 2 floors, each having several rooms along with a common area that was very clean and always empty.
The hotel upkeep is excellent with a very clean room without odors, insects or damage.
The mattress was rather comfortable.

I can't remember *ever* giving a place such a score. Ever. But we came late at night, and there was no one at the reception - it was closed and no one answered.
The water in the shower were lukwarm, and the pressure was very low (I'm adding a short video to illustrate). The first nob I touched just broke away from the faucet (see picture).
The towels are old and worn out.
Finally, the Tom is old and run down - I'm adding a few pics.
Don't come here. It's not for real.

One of the most outstanding accommodations i have ever received. Excellent food made from the finest ingredients, outstanding behavior by the staff and a scenic view that will take your breath away. It is worth every moment of your time

We originally booked this hotel for 3 nights and decided to stay an extra night. The staff are lovely, the views from the balcony are great, it's not a tea plantation view, but cardamom plantation view down the valley, you are literally in the middle of nature. It's a bumpy ride from Munnar and takes about 25 minutes by autorickshaw. You are 10 minutes walk from the tea plantations and have the most rewarding views over the valley. The food here is excellent, catered to your taste, we like our food Spicey and the kitchen was more than happy to make our food like this. It's also very fresh, cooked to order and very well priced. We ate on our balcony which was really lovely. Seriously don't miss out on the food here! The staff are very helpful and genuinely care about you. After helping us with which buses to catch to our onward destination, they messaged us to check if we had arrived safely and we were OK. The view from the rooms is absolutely stunning, with lots of green forest right below the balcony, and lots of nice nature sounds from birds and frogs (I suppose) all around. In the distance several mountain ranges are visible. The staff are also incredibly nice and pleasant people, very service minded and full of useful practical information. They will organize tuk-tuks to or from Munnar for 250 INR. There are some pleasant enough strolls to do in the immediate area. There is a small restaurant at the place which makes it tempting to forget about visiting the waterfalls etc, just stay on that balcony and do nothing.

Listening to a waterfall brings peace in to the mind and is ideal for sleep. Eagle mountain cottage in bison valley is blessed with two small but natural waterfalls in their compound (may not be active in summer) and one can very well listen to it from their rooms. Valley view rooms offers an excellent view too. Their food as well as service are simply superb.

I stayed there during Munnar Neelakurinji season, the person in the reception helped me with all the necessary information to go to Eravikulam National Park where my slots were booked, also a brief about other places to be visited.

Amidst a cardamom plantation, eagle mountain is located in a secluded place 7-8 km away from the town. The route from Munnar is so scenic too. A five star plus altogether!
