After receiving the payment, the behaviour of the staff completely changed. When we raised concerns about their attitude, management responded that we could proceed with our stay only if we wished.
Our room was provided after waiting for 2 hours, exceeding the check-in time informed to us. The water in the room was simply tap water, refilled in disposable plastic bottles. Also, they serve tea in plastic glasses, which warp and melt.
The resort's maintenance is poor. Also, they didn't offer accommodations for drivers. When asked, they claimed they were unable to provide this service, although all other resorts do it.

The resort staff is taking photo and threatening.only resort ambiance is good.rest everything is very bad.

4.will the time we complaining to the manager the resort staff call to our current working company and threatening with our job.

One of the worst resort i have visited.the customer service is very bad.they don't arrange food properly.after raising complaint to their management they are threatening us.they are serving drinking water in used soft drinks bottles.

Perfect location with good architecture. This property is worth the money you spent. Kids enjoyed their inhouse activities and hospitality is up to the mark. Thank you

Sky Bee holidays had booked full property at Edakkal Village for our guest. I must stay right from the reception they have given an exceptional service. Good property which is very close to most of the tourist places in Sulthan Batheri area. Our guest had a wonderful experience at the property. Highly recommended.

I had been to this resort with my family where we really enjoyed with the ambience staying there. Hospitality services like housekeeping, f & b service, staff behaviours etc was satisfactory. Rooms were kept very neat and clean, swimming pool and overall areas. Will recommend for those who look for good resort in Wayanad.

It was really an unpleasant experience at this resort.

I've travelled with my kid after a long time. The amenities promised by the resort were not there. First of all the rooms were not clean enough, and the waste was not disposed. Then many things were missing in room, like soaps, dental kits, towels, pillow and we got them after couple of hours. Also there was no hot water as the heaters were not working, it was much needed as the climate was cold. The pool was also not much cleaner and we didn't played in it.

There is stray dogs inside the resort, and monkeys made a visit in the morning. We can't let my kid to roam around the resort due to this. Also, the property is built on steep area and it wouldn't be so easy for old peoples, and need to take extra care for kids as well.

There was only one staff, and he struggled to meet up our needs. We lost many hours due to this.

I would never recommend this resort to anyone.

This is my first ever review, and posting it as I realise that reviews can help others to decide.

Pathetic facility here.
- No running restaurant
- No filter used in pool and pool is full of dirty water
- They even don't know what facilities a Resort needs to provide.

This stay is not suitable for a family.
Bachelor get together can use this if they are willing to adjust.
But you can get better Resort for this price.

Eco friendly atmosphere and good ambience. Staff was super. But room are very dirty. A/C and bathroom fittings were not in proper working condition. Breakfast and dinner provided was not worth for money

Horrible stay I ever experienced.

Feels like homestay, not a resort at all.

- Street dogs are roaming inside the premises.
- There is only one staff and he was running throughout the day to meet our needs - A resort must contain many staffs to meet customers needs, maintain premises, prepare food etc.
- They told the package includes breakfast. But they called me morning and told that "puttu and kadala curry" is that day's menu. A resort with this rate must provide buffet for breakfast.
- They need to inform us there is no buffet for breakfast in morning breakfast. But they did not informed it while booking and me and my family expected the buffet breakfast.
- There is no open restaurant. If we need food for dinner then we need to order it before evening. A woman from nearby will prepare food and go. If we need multiple dishes (veg and non-veg), then they will tell you can order from outside hotel.
- If our child needs some food after evening, there is no one to prepare for us.
- We ordered food from outside for the dinner
- There is no phone in room to contact them, because of they are not reachable or functioning when we need.
- When I checked in the room, there no pillow for bed, towel for bath, and waste of previous guest is not cleaned, a bad smell in room. We need to call them for each item. It took 4 to 5 hours to get the required items for my booked room.
- They are telling that Rs. 4500/- room is giving you for Rs. 3200/-. In my experience, it is only worth Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 1500/-.
- Since dogs and monkeys are roaming there, it is not safe to stay there.
- Hospitality is very very bad.

** Main thing is that the owner is very arrogant. When several issues found, we called him and he is not accepting the issues and arguing with us **

Accommodation and location is really awesome. Food was really delicious. Staff (Sreejith and A war) at the resort is really humble and the hospitality is awesome. We really enjoyed our stay though it was a short one.

It was a fantastic experience. Eco friendly atmosphere. Very good hospitality, also trucking to Ambuthi hill was entire memorable.

Very comfortable stay, great food and lot of activities, Edakkal Village Resort is truly a value for money property in Wayanad. Neat and clean rooms, swimming pool is big enough for a group of people. Overall we had a nice stay.

The worst experience ever I had in a resort. We had planned a family gathering of 6 friends after a couple of years and it all ruined due to the irresponsible management and arrogant behaviour from the resort management team.

These were the bad experiences we faced:
- Poor mangement and bad service.
- The room was not cleaned well, and there was unpleasant smell in the room.
- The waste was not disposed in the rooms. There were even pan masala packets in the drawers.
- The bathroom kit and dental kits were not there and it was placed after a couple of hours after we demanded.
- The water heater was not working well, and it took around half an hour to get a bucket of hot water.
- The pool was unclean, and when we asked them to clean on the first day they responded that there is no staff to clean for the day and will be cleaned next day only.
- There was complimentary breakfast, however there was only one item. The restaurant is not functioning and they arranged breakfast from outside.
- There are stray dogs inside the compound and they roam around the room premises.
- The premises and the steps were slippery.
- There is no security guard at the front gate and we had to open ourselves and wait for sometime for a couple of instances.
- There is no activities or play area for kids.
- In the morning there were a lot of monkeys and it is insecure to let the kids move out of the rooms, sit around balcony and premises.

We booked the room online after reviewing the past reviews. Please don't go there even if they offer a price below 1000, it is very pathetic now.

Though we had booked for 2 days, we had vacated the rooms after a day.

Edit: Please note that positive 5* reviews posted for the property looks like they are written by the property management team or their friends or relatives or may be paid ones. Out of them, most of the reviewers had only one reviewed this property alone and it made me think like that. I may be wrong. However I regret that I haven't noticed them earlier.

Worst service one can get from a resort. Only one support staff was there and he was really struggling to complete our needs. No cleanliness. We booked for 2 days but we vacated from there after 1 night stay.
In some rooms AC remote were missing in some rooms (though it was not needed because of the cold weather out there in the night), heater was not working, we travelled with our kids so hot water was very needed in the cold weather of Wayanad.
Pool was not clean and by looking at its condition we didn't allow our kids to play in that pool. There was no security guard at the gate so that we had to wait for 5-6 minutes before the gate even after pressing the bell for 7-8 times.
Premises were slippery so that every time when our kids go down we need to be cautious. After all the management was arguing with us when we pointed out these problems that's the worst thing.

Had a sooper bad experience, no proper supplies of anything, below average breakfast, never will i recommend anyone for the service, but the view there is okay-ish

One of.the worst experience. They are only interested in money. First thing they ask at the time of check in is for full payment. Backy kept rooms, no towel or bathroom accessories or used used soap.
Not enough towel at rooms and pool side.
Only 2 staff
Food below average with very less variety and under cooked or spicy.
