Emerald Isle Heritage Resort/ Alleppey

Our stay at the Emerald Isle was excellent. The property is beautiful, in a very nice and picturesque location. Many interesting activities are offered (we tried the boat cruise and the Ayurvedic body massage, both recommended). The breakfast and dinner we enjoyed were wonderful. Finally, Mr. Vinod was an exceptional host. Many greetings from Greece, we will definitely visit you again and this time for more days!

I think this was the nicest place we stayed on our two week trip to Kerala! The place is absolutely beautiful located on a backwater with a rice paddy behind it and lovely gardens.

The room was lovely and very comfortable. The food was really delicious and excellent value. Vijo and Tom were really helpful and organised a yoga class and massage for us both of which were great and there also bikes to borrow for a ride along the waters. Would highly recommend!

Great staff und very lovely area around the hotel. Dinner is served for all guests outside on a big table, that's nice.
The personal spicegarden is amazing.
The rooms are a bit dark and could be modernized eventualy.

An enchanting place, a family residence stylishly renovated by the freindly owners. Clean, with the choice to take your shower inside or under the stars, good cuisine and super nice staff. There are many things to do. Cooking class with the mom and the cook, boat trips with big or small boats, walks along the canals or bike rides and much more.
Fantastic and a lot of fun are the electronic postcards from Raju, who makes short reels with family members and cutouts of the backwaters in the background, "real Indian style". Ask him for such a special souvenir! My freinds were excited.

Ein zauberhafter Ort, ein Familiensitz, der von den netten Eigentümern stilvoll renoviert wurde. Sauber, mit Duschmöglichkeit drinnen oder unter dem Sternenhimmel, gute Küche und supernette Staff. Es gibt viele Dinge, die man unternehmen kann, Kochkurs mit der Mama und der Köchin, Bootsfahrten mit grossen oder kleinen Booten, Spaziergänge entlang der Kanäle oder Fahrradausflüge.
Fantastisch sind die elektronischen Postkarten von Raju, der kurze Reels mit Familienmitlgiedern und Ausschnitten aus den Backwaters im Hintergrund macht, "real Indian Style". Fragen Sie ihn für ein spezielles Souvenir! Beste Postkarte ever.

Tom was very helpful during our stay for anything needed Tom was available at service.

Food was excellent and light. Like home food. Amazing lady cook.
