The food is fabulous at a reasonable rate. Everything is perfect except there is only a small space for dining.

I won't say the quality of food is extremely high. But for the price they charge, quality is definitely good. With 70-90rs we can have non veg food, where we have to spend 150rs outside (normal restaurants).

Decent food at a very reasonable price. Such an initiative by govt. Of kerala is quiet helpful for many, especially for students staying in the city limits. If you are planning to take out, try to get a bag or something with you, since paper bag they provide cost 5rs extra

Freedom food factory. At Trivandrum ksrtc bus terminal complex. Exact location ground floor of the complex at main entry. Best food at low rate. Best combo chicken curry and chapathi. On 2020 the little increase.for this items chicken biriyani old rate 60 now 70. Like beef biriyani, chicken with chapathi, egg with chapathi, and chilly chicken.other food no change in rate. Water have only 10 rs. And other main attractions chicken fry only 35 rs. And their is few sittings also arranged neat and clean

Best place to have food if you are low in budget. You can hav a healthy breakfast with 25rs. Lunch with 40 or 50 rs.
Mng brkfst 5 chappathi and egg curry costs only 23rs. 1 bottle water is available at 10rs. Food is not that awesome in taste but its good. If u are a middle class person you will definitely like it. If you are short in money dont hesitate go there and hav good fooding experience. You can take as many as parcels you need. Seating arrangements are also done for having food lively.

Very low cost quality food prepared at central prison.most of the people are not aware of this food outlet.they will give you the food in packets, and there is a small arrangement to eat from there itself otherwise you can bring it to your hom. 5 chappathis will cost you only 10 rupees.for 1 ltr water only 10 rs‍️

Good and cheapest good in Thiruvananthapuram. This shop runs by prison department. Here you get good, hygiene food at cheapest rate. Usually they become out of stock very fast.

A small food court situated in the cellar of ksrtc bus terminal Thampanoor, Trivandrum which is run by jail/prison authorities.
The food served here prepared by prisoners in jail as a correctional and rehabilitation method as well.

The cheapest food, but with good quality and enough quantity. This one is Really helpful for a lot of people. You are provided with space to have your food. It's located there inside the KSRTC bustand compound. It's at a walkable distance from the Railway station It's managed by Central prison department.
Both food and staff are really good.
