My parents stayed in Fragrant Nature Kochi for 4 nights during their one month stay in south India. It was the best hotel they stayed in and they had a great time there. The hotel had beautiful and unique interiors and was near many attractions in Fort Kochi. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with lots of variety. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and welcoming, which really makes you feel at home. Everyone went above and beyond during their stay, especially Sabrina who is the hotel manager. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in kochi, you won’t be disappointed.

It's was mindfull and amazing experience in Fragrant nature cochi. Stay was equally very good and staffs are very much humble and good nature.

I have stayed at dozens of hotels but this was at the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The rooms were clean, really comfortable, the hotel view was fabulous, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The trail to the hotel is the cherry on the cake. The vintage aesthetics, complimentary high tea in the evening and bonfire were awesome. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown.

Exceptional stay very professional and prompt staff, Loved the food and nature and view around the property. Definitely will be considering the property for the next visit.

But the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
East India cafe is right next to the hotel so that's an added bonus.
It's not very far from cafe los Angeles.

Prev time I visited, the place was very good, may be it was 'season'. The last trip was a dud. No outdoor bar, food menu was sad, drink menu was sad. Most of the items we opted were not available, so had to settle for their choice than ours.
Visit only during tourist season for best experience.

Hi all.
Wanted to keep you all aware about the weirdest and rudest policy followed by this hotel. I would never ever recommend anyone to visit fragrant nature hotels. I had visited their kochi hotel restaurant with my husband and daughter. Post having lunch while we stepped out to the lobby and was about to take a selfie with my family, the front office staff came up and said as per their hotel policy none of the guests is allowed to take picture inside their lobby. They said it was their company policy and The chairman and their MD has instructed them to inform their guests.

I work with a global corporate company as Director customer success. I extensively travel and stay at many 7 star and 5 star luxurious properties and never heard of such a nasty hotel policy. I take this as an insult to myself and my family and would not want any of my friends or anyone to visit Fragrant nature hotels which doesn’t value or respect their customers. We pay as per their rate cards mentioned in their menu and doesn’t question or check if it’s even worth that rate. Post making payment at their restaurant, while I walk out to their lobby I was insulted with their useless and weirdest policy from the hotel front desk team. The staff and their AM confirmed that their GM Harikrishna will speak to me however I didn’t receive any call nor an apology. That shows the unprofessional attitude of the hotel staff and management.

While going through few articles I read about the MD and chairman Mr Sajeev and Mrs Anne planning to invest and expand their hotel chain outside Kerala. But with this unprofessional policies and rude customer service how can they even keep up to a good customer experience. If they don’t care for their customers in their own home land how can they ever treat anyone well from outside Kerala.

I would never visit any of their hotels nor will ever recommend anyone to visit them. We all do have our self respect and need not lose it for such an unprofessional hotel group #stay away from fragrant nature hotels#

During our trip to Kerala.we checked in at Fragrant nature kochi.it is a beautifil hotel. We had a very confortable stay. Everything was nice.the tasty hot breakfast.insrant housekeeping.clean and spotless rooms.showers was like standing under waterfall.wow it was.specially the chef who made hot and. Piping Rasam just to honor our request.it made us feel welcome.thank you team fragrant Nature.:)

Located in the heart of the busy market of Mattancherry, it’s some thing great to have been there.

Great views, exploration by walk to the Mattancherry streets, fort kochi.

Place has a great pool with great overview of Cochin and the port.

The service and food is also good.

Lovely place for a family get together. Great ambiance and nice view. Friendly staff and excellent hospitality. Food is great and the Chef makes sure that each guest is personally taken care.

So the hotel, rooms and restaurant are all amazing. Perhaps one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

The level of cleanliness and care shown by the staff is commendable as well even if there is an overabundance of staff at times.

The only negative thing would be to say that the hotel is quite far from the bustle of the city, which makes it difficult to go shopping or going for food outside the walls of this hotel.

The rooms were lovely and the staff were courteous and helpful.complimentary breakfast had a great spread and everything was tasty. Sizzlers were also delicious

Neat and clean rooms service is good.location is average.sometime s but noisy as some noises come from outside coz just opposite to the hotel there is something going on.

This is an impeccable hotel. Stylish clean rooms, all the necessary accessories are in place, you don't need to ask for anything extra. There is a swimming pool on the roof, which offers a wonderful view of the port and part of the city. Separately, I want to mention the responsive and professional staff. My rating of the hotel is 10 out of 5!

A Beautiful authentic hotel, the stuff r super friendly and very helpful Breakfast is a rich variety of Indian food as well as Weston both very delicious! The rooms r lovely and spacious the bathroom is gorgeous.
We had dinner 1 night in the restaurant is was very good and service was fab Anil G (the captain) was very professional and super nice.
We will b back

Beautiful place to stay, access to the library a good place to read the morning paper. The lobby was a nice place too. Kerala breakfast was excellent. Staff overall very helpful and smiley. A special thank you to Princy for making our stay very special. Love the nature etiquette of Fragant Nature Hotel as well as the roof top pool.

Good ambience. Well maintained and clean rooms. Super friendly staff. Excellent service. Since we had a visa appointment we wanted breakfast earlier than the normal time. They made sure that they could provide whatever they could in such a short notice and everything was tasty.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and amazing staff right from their GM Hari, front desk staff Ms. Sukanya and the waiter at the restaurant whose name i can't recollect. Really nice people. Massive room, with all amenities. Rooftop 360 degree view and the swimming pool are a charm.

Excellent, excellent is a small word, the roof top dining area is excellent, having spectacular views of Fort kochi from clock tower, and the staff too very friendly, especially Mrs. Sukanya assisted us very well. Top pool and rooms, extraordinary, the paintings and lobby oh my God, mind blowing.

Amazing ambience.the roof top restaurant and the veg food was delicious.one rare restaurant in Kochi to have such good veg food with the variety options.hot and sour soup was perfect.

It is been a while that I have got to stay in a hotel that I like to cherish the stay, beautiful two days relaxed in that luxurious hotel, I mean as soon as you step in their compound you feel you are in different country. A beautiful Spanish or Dutch touch is given to that place. Worth for the money. If you are a photographer and like to take Sunrise shots the best place to be.

5 star property. Good food and staff is helpful. Loved our stay. The road to reach here is narrow but near to fort kochi area.

Best Hotel for a 1 days lesiure or hangout. The roof top pool and restaurant and it's view from there is the main highlight. Overall the hotel is well maintained with good architecture and Greenery. Highly recommended

Awesome clean Rooms and worth five star, food is tasty and good variety, the approach road is small through spice bazaar, and the view is also not great. For chilling and relaxing in hotel it's best. Also very close to kochi fort, beach and some other kochi sight seeing places. Best place to stay in Kochi.

Thus place is soo gud, at the top we can see grand hyat kochi bolgatty and many small villages in the outskirts of kochi

The Fragrant Nature Kochi experience was truly memorable. The complete property is a feast to the eyes, relaxing, rejuvenating and zen like. The staff is as cordial as ever, going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The team at the hotel ensured that every covid protocol was followed and there was nothing to complaint about. The rooms were squeaky clean and comfortable. A huge shout out to every staff at Fragrant Nature.

The hotel is located in an idyllic heritage area of Fort Kochi.the charm of having a bite while sitting in an outdoor dining area giving one a feel of experiencing the quaint sit out dining which one finds in small towns in Europe.
Overall the food and service was very nice.

This is a review without staying at the property. The team at Fragrant nature is so friendly, informative and very flexible. I loved the interaction with Mr Hari. I think a lot of hotels could learn how to interact with customers by following their model!

Well designed, and attractive star hotel. Located on the skirts of Forkochi and Mattanchery. The View of Kochi from the top is awesome.

Attended a wedding reception. Perfect ambience for a quaint roof top wedding. Good service and decent F&B makes it a good choice if you are looking for a good party / reception venue.

Cons
1. Not a great view from our room with some dismantling works going on in adjacent plots. But theres a good view of the Chinese fishing nets, the sea, ships etc from the room

Other comments
Beach and centres of main activity are 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
Most roads in fort Kochi are narrow.
The shortest route from Ernakulam to this hotel is through the bazaar which might sometimes be blocked due to trucks which are loading and unloading goods. Safer route is via Fort Kochi which is slightly longer, but one doesnt stuck in the narrow roads.
There is a clock tower on top of the hotel. One might miss it if one doesnt climb the iron spiral staircase on the roof.

Very nice hotel with good facilities in a good area of the town. Pool was not as nice as shown in the photos, doubt many people use it. Breakfast was quite good. Free massage was nice!

Extremely poor service to the bar, playing old Malayalam movies with high volume, defeating the purpose of a 5star bar, Not switching it off or changing to a music channel even after repeated requests.the bar man fraternizing with a regular guest at the cost of other guest. Extremely unapologetic about their I'll treatment of guests and their unprofessional behavior.

Super Luxushotel ohne Einschränkungen!
Sehr geräumige, saubere und komfortable Zimmer. Das Bad lässt keine Wünsche offen, im Bett schläft man super gut.
Das Personal ist extrem freundlich, unaufdringlich und auf Zack. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt einen Rooftop-Pool, eine Bar und ein super SPA. Die Einrichtung ist sehr stilvoll. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist aus meiner Sicht exzellent. Genau zwischen Fort Kochi und Mattancherry, so das beides ganz entspannt zu Fuß erreichbar ist, wenn gewünscht. Der Fähranleger nach z. B. Ernakulam ist nur 5 min.zu Fuß entfernt. Einfach sehr rund in Summe.

This is one among the 24hr cafes in the FK - Mattancherry region. The cafe infrastructure feels cramped and sandwiched - there seems to be little or no width and feels like a gas chamber! The service personnel at night seemed perplexed and was behaving odd at times (when I asked him I will say order now, kindly wait here, he just exited!). There was no bill provided citing reason of billing machine malfunction due to thunderstorm (how many stars does this Hotel have!).

The dishes served were of fine quality to be precise. The pizza had chunks of meat with fine cheese (so cheesy too). The smoothie had an impeccable caramel taste that I shall always remember.

Suggested improving the service quality and ambience of the cafe.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel twice during our time in Kerala. The staff is amazing, the rooms large, attractive and spotless with big walk in showers and spacious bathrooms. The breakfast buffet has a combination of India and non foods
Something for everyone! Great quality, too. I became hooked on the Sambhar and Idli. We watched two different currey preparations put on by kitchen staff. The swimming pool and view from the roof are wonderful. On our last day the hotel allowed us a very late check-out and arranged a car to drive us to the airport. This is a great place to stay!

What a place great interiors awesome location and excellent food everything one can think of a great place to unwind

This is an amazing hotel with amazing staff. The location being in the supposed tourist area but there’s not a lot to see in all honesty however it is a good steppingstone to get the feel of India. You can take the ferry from very close to here into the main city part and explore there but warning it is a little bit overwhelming unless you have a guide or someone to show you the way. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel the rooms are magnificent and the staff are so helpful and friendly

Great stay for 4 days.positives are clean and neat boutique hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms excellent bathrooms. Negatives located in Fort Kochi which is almost 15 km away from the city. Staff manning the reception will never get back to you if you have any concerns. At least they never did in my case. But, overall a fantastic stay. Food was also good.

Stayed at this beautiful hotel as part of our photography meet up. We were around 54 people. Felt proud being a Keralite to see the well mannered hard-working staff and beautifully maintained hotel. Me and my non-Keralite friends were so happy with the food you served. Hoping to visit with family in future.
