Georgettans Ragam 4K 3D

I think, Ragam is one of the best theatres in Thrissur district (also Malappuram) ). The Dolby Atmos experience is very very very good. And the 4K screen also. Definitely, Ragam will make the cinematic experience a wonderful one. I have watched Leo Tamil on 2023 10 25 11PM show. That was awesome. And the attraction for Ragam is its price. It has only ₹100 and ₹125 for balcony. I did not find any theatre with Dolby Atmos and 4K with this price in my district Malappuram. Ragam Theatre is near the Vadakkum Nadhan temple and about 1.5 KMs from Thrissur Railway Station and KSRTC bus stand. The official booking partner is Book My Show and Amazon.in.

The sound quality is excellent, atmosphere of the auditorium is gives different feel when compared to normal cinema hall.
The only thing management should concentrate is restroom department.

Its one of the nicest and cheapest theater in Thrissur. The sound quality is not the best in town.

The best movie theatre in Kerala for the price it charges. Have been to theatres/multiplexes in ekm/tvm/kkd/ktym and have never found a better experience. Provides Dolby Atmos sound quality (really good) and beautiful 4k projection at a base rate of 100 for the first class tickets. The kiosk for collecting online tickets is also convenient. Seating and air conditioning is also of good quality. Can tell that the theatre is run by someone who really loves cinema. Ample parking is also available although it may get a bit crowded at peak hours for full house shows. And not to mention the quirky 5 minute intro before each show.

Had booked online for the TamiL movie 'Rattham' on 14-10-2023 by 9.30 pm.
They nicely made us pay and sent confirmation too. When we reached the theatre, we were told that the show has been cancelled due to rain.
No concern or mention about the ticket money or about refund.
So irresponsible behaviour.
We have decided not to visit this place any more.

One of the Best Theatre's I've ever been in. It's just so hard to get a Ticket on the First Show with the Thrissur Gaddis

One of the best theatre that i see from my childhood. It gives best visual and audio experience at the same time great memories.
It has 4k screen and Dolby Atmos surrounding system.
The seats are great, even the spiral staircase is one of its identity.
It is situated along the outer circle of Thrissur round.it is visible while travelling through the round.

The theatre after renovation turns to be super as always. The sound quality is awesome. The new seats gives a good feel while we sit. It is great that they retained the iconic spiral ramps which is very unique. The main concern which remains as per my personal opinion is the parking facility. It is still cramped and the number of spaces are very much limited. The theatre managment should take some steps to solve the parking issues but taking lease of any spaces or making tie-up with the paid parking spaces nearby. I love going to this theatre to watch movie, but when thinking about the parking difficulties, will search for another theatre where good parking facilites are available,

A place to remember from childhood and college days. One of Thrissur's prouds. Now renovated and reopened. Theatre experience is decent but yet I think overhyped! They really can improve some areas but overall the specs (4k, Dolby Atmos.) But you may have to adjust it bear some things which may be against the flow of your viewing experience!

4k theatre in front of Vadakkum nathan temple. A well cuisine seats & air conditioned hall & balcony. Always a comfortable spot for entertainment of new movies with tasty snacks. Also transportation available on night 2 am also.

Spiderman ഇന്ന് കണ്ടു. കലക്കി. സൂപ്പർ ബാസ്സ്. Powerfull surround sound. 3 d പിക്ചർ ക്വാളിറ്റി അടിപൊളി. സൗണ്ട് പ്രോബ്ലം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് ശരിയാക്കി എന്ന്‌ തോന്നുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ പോയാൽ അടിപൊളി. ഇന്ന് 19-07-19 ലയൺ കിങ് കണ്ടു. കാശ് പോയി നോ സൗണ്ട് ക്വാളിറ്റി. പിക്ചർ സൈസ് ചെറുതാക്കി. ഇന്ന് (03-10-19) ടെർമിനേറ്റർ ഡാർക്ക്‌ ഫേറ്റ് കണ്ടു. നന്നായിരിക്കുന്നു. 4/5 കൊടുക്കാം.

Excellent experience. Ragam is very old theater. There is a curtain raiser program they are conducting everyday. The curtain raiser with enigma music. It's very mind blowing feeling while we are seeing it.

Ragam theater is an emotion to all people in thrissur. All the people in thrissur is supposed to try that place. It is a place of great heritage.

What does we expect when we go to watch a movie in a theatre? Comfortable seats, complete isolation to outside sounds and uninterrupted movie watching. Yet, all of these was denied at the 10 pm show of 'Unda' at 23rd June, 2019.

The seats were uncomfortable with not much leg space. This is not unique for this theatre and could be forgiven.

Then again, at random intervals, we could hear rain that was occuring outside the theatre. This was yet another disturbance and could be forgiven but for the following fact:

The movie started, and then after a few minutes, the sound just disappeared. This is the first time I'm having this experience and I did not expect such from a theatre of such renown, especially after renovation. This resulted in us not hearing a few dialogues for a minute or two. After that, they paused the movie and blanked the screen. After a few minutes, the movie resumed (No rewinding to see the missed parts) and all proceeded as if nothing had happened.

On the whole, it was a bad experience and ruined the whole experience of the movie.

Just saw Lion King from Ragam Theatre, the show and seating was fine. But would suggest the management to give your staff proper training for behaving with customers. The staffs attitude who were placed to recollect 3D Glasses were not acceptable and they gives an impression that it's their mercy for having 3D Classes. If this is the way your staff respond it's you who will lose the customers as lot of alternatives are available within Thrissur for watching movie.

It's a different experience like no where else. From my first movie there, if you want it be best you got to catch it in Ragam

After renovation, I have seen many films from there. Legacy of the theater is the factor which attracts movie buffs. Overall movie experience is fantastic.

Good screen and sound system. They have done some renovation to make it modern without losing that old charm.

The movie got cut in between due to some reason (23rd June 2019 10pm show). After the movie restarted almost 4-5 mins of the movie was cut off implying we were not able to see that part. Also the sound of rain was heard inside the theatre in between the show.

Im very sad to say that the behaviour of staffs are very bad. Screen, seats and other are good. But the simple thing that depressed and alter the mood of customers. Behaviour of staffs are too rough. And they dont care about the mind of customer. I suggest go for any other theatre. Dont try ragam.

It was once the only theatre in India with a Dolby surround sound. It got renovated a few years back and its one of the best theatres in Thrissur. Has a huge seating capacity as well!

Better experience. Good screen. Awesome sound quality. Well maintained seating arrangement and clean atmosphere.

Its a good pocket friendly theatre right in the heart of the city. Its very easy to get here from any place around town. The screen is good, sound is excellent, cleanliness is ver good, ac is very good, service at box office is very good. One of the best theatres in Thrissur where you could go with family or friends.

Such a beautiful theatre. Its gives a good vibe. The seating capacity is huge, which is something that is not seen given that most theatres have turned to multiplexes. So it's a nostalgic experience to watch a movie with so many people. Yes, parking is something which proves to be a problem as they can't manage the crowd. But, they would eventually sort out a parking spot. But other than that, it's mind blowing. 4K alongside Dolby Atmos at Rs 115 is just great. Unix provides similar seats of Dolby Atmos at Rs 180-210 which is expensive when compared to this one. Overall, a good watching experience. Oh, and they have a snake like walkway entrance which is fun to walk on.
