I had recently done an executive checkup at GG. I was assisted by Ms. Deepa from start to finish. The whole process took a couple of hours and thanks to Ms. Deepa’s speedy efforts, I could finish it all much quicker.

Bad hospital with rude staff. Doctor is good but the behavior from the nurses and the other staffs are very rude. We had a bad experience and we never suggests this hospital. The hospital policies are also bad.

Had a very good caring from GG Hospital when I met a critical emergency situation. I was admitted due to an electric shock happened to me. Thanks to Dr Karthikeyan and the nurses. TPA Insurance peoples very much supportive peoples they just asked me to share the Id proof and the very next day the approval message came as they assured.
The overall experience with this hospital was very pleasing. The staffs are very dedicated. I'm very happy.

Dr Anitha Pillai is a gem of a person and she supported us throughout our maternity journey. As a result we were blessed with twins and both mother and babies were taken care. We will forever be thankful to Dr Anitha, GG hospital, the nurses and all their staffs.

Dr. Anita S Pallia's treatment has helped me a lot with my health. After she removed my cysts there is a lot of relief from the pain. I am very much satisfied with her treatment and which I have not got from other doctors. The hospital service's are good.

Doctors are amazing but hospital administration is worse. I was hospitalized at 12 pm due to emergency but treatment started at 4 pm. They were asking patients and bystanders to do everything like a government hospital. Insurance policies are fraud and to take an antigen they made me pay 1395 which is just 300 in other labs. I will never recommend this hospital to anyone but once again doctors are best but hospital is only for money. Once again worst hospital in world.

Very congested. Not much parking. Reception takes more time, very slow. Need to be more advanced. I think it's high time that this hospital need to find a new location, construct new one, so that it may resolve all problems. It may be very difficult as there are many other better hospital & facilities. Now a days people 1st look for parking.

An average hospital having almost all departments. Gastro, Pediatrics and gynaecology doctors are very good and treatment cost is also reasonable when we compare with other hospitals in the city.

Recently delivery done for my wife.

Where delivery date was 16th.in just two sitting they made me to afraid stating Cord around the neck.so date given 6 or 7 or 8 these will go for C. Third sitting. Dr said do not delay beyond max day 5.where baby weight is 3KG.

Agreed.for C for 2nd. C done.

Complaints.

1. Once baby out the baby weight is 2.62 only.
2. They cut the tummy and Stitches more than 15 CM.
3. One place stitches it is opened, stitches was not good.
4. Thread left outsider.
5. Tummy is not reduced after delivery. Still looks like she has a baby in tummy.
6. After few days, one more place tummy got opened (stitches broken).

7. Above all, due to some medical reason our pregnancy is IVF. We have told the Dr clearly she has two blocks so we went for IVF, our family doesn't know about it. While discharge by knowingly unknowingly Dr revealed to our parents it is IVF.

8. Now our family members vage on us and everyone is emerging for fight. Become a family problem.
9. Baby become under weight in few days.

Where is the proper guidance here?

Why was information not kept confidential?
Our life full, our family will see us disrespect coz of IVF revealed.

Hello.if you are really CARE AND CONCERN about the issue and patient, you would have searched your internal records and address professionals. You guys doing public stunts asking for contact numbers.
Instead of advising your professionals, you are threatening the public stating you will move for legal action.
I challenge, if you feel your Dr never done a mistake go ahead file a case.
I can deal that through court,
If Moving to court and file a legal suit and defamation against your hospital is my intention I would have done that long before. I raised my concern to you, so that you will address your employees, take it in a positive way advice your professionals to keep the patients info confidential. Thank you.

We are very thankful to GG Hospital especially Dr. Shifaz, Dr. Manoj and Dr.kalyani. A special thanks to all staff nurses (sr. Maya&team (Micu), Sr. Aiswarya &team (Sicu), and Sr. Mini&team C2 ward.

Good doctors and good service. Though token system is there, after each consultation the display of next token is not updated. For example, even though the patient with token no 21 is having his turn, the display may show 10 only.

Very pathetic patient service. Reception staff never attend the calls. Even to know whether the Doctor is available and to check whether the lab reports are ready, they don't pick the call. Called about 4 to 5 times per day for 5 days but i just got an engaged tone just after the auto record call and call will get disconnected automatically. We need to pay a service charge of Rs 100 and consultation charge of Rs 200 to consult the Doctor. But we are getting no service. Even for a review consultation within 2 days after the first consultation, they charge a service charge of Rs 100. Also, they are never bothered about our time and health. Delay in consulting a Doctor make the patient more sick waiting in that overcrowded place because of the lack of coordination even after taking an appointment.
Also, I was at the casualty due to emergency with my 4 year old daughter and there was no staff to buy a medicine which is to be given to daughter. I was told to leave her alone at casualty and go and buy a medicine from outside which is not available at the hospital pharmacy. My daughter was very tired and cranky and was given IV. Even after seeing her condition, casualty staff was telling there is no staff to buy a medicine and provide it to her. The casualty staffs were very busy that they are not even ready to answer our concerns or buy the medicine as my daughter was very tired and couldn't even sleep due to cough. We are paying all the service charge and we get no service at this place.i just felt this place as a money extraction place.

Not even worth ‘one star’! Horrible experience while visiting GG hospital for my mum. Her token number was 23, the lady on the phone said the OP will start at 11am and the consultant will see the new patients between 11am-11.30am and she asked us to arrive at the hospital at 11. Waited waited and waited u till 2’o clock, remember my mum is highly diabetic and she is tried because of her health conditions. The consultant called us in around 2.10. No one is bothered about your time and health!

Unhygienic and smelly corridors, needs lot of improvements. Wonder how they got approval from the Healthcare Department to run this hospital. Please see attached pictures.

This specific visit was a disaster. My wife had to be admitted. At 12 a covid test was done. We were told that the results would take at least 4 hours and we were told to go home. After 4 hours we returned to get admitted. After 2 hours of paperwork we were told no room available. After another hour we were told to go home and wait. At 9 PM in the night we were told to come as the room was ready. When we reached the hospital we were told the file is missing. 30 minutes of searching yields nothing. It's now 10 PM and we are still waiting because the room apparently is not ready.

I sincerely hope that the senior management of this hospital gets to see this review. The procedure to handle such issues seems to have disappeared into thin air.

I visited GG Hospital for causality consultation and admission. Best experience with the treatment. Great doctor's, caring sisters and great ambience. IT department also very good service. Overall l highly recommend for any type of treatment.

I had a recent visit to GG hospital due to my severe stomach pain. The doctor I consulted was Dr. Arun Kumar, senior consultant. He was so much friendly and considered me well till the end. I had multiple visits for different tests prescribed by doctor. The reason was found after little expensive tests which may not be affordable for everyone. The nurses there are the worst part, who are not trained properly for consulting and behavior.

What we got from here was a good experience. In particular, Dr. Arun. B (Urologist) and IP- Care Coordinator Mrs. Sudha. We were able to stay in the hospital for four days without any difficulty due to the intervention of the IP- Coordinator Mrs. Sudha. Of course, staff like this can be an asset to any organization. The service of the nurses is also commendable. Thanks for everything.

The management team is doing a great job here. Ms. Jini, the coordinator was kind enough to walk us through the process and was very cooperative.

പറഞ്ഞു വന്നത്‌ ഒരു 50 രൂപ ഇവർ ഇപ്പൊ വരുന്ന രോഗികളിൽ നിന്ന് ഈടാക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ബില്ലിൽ സർവീസ് ചാർജ് എന്നു മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളു. അതിന്റെ ഡീറ്റെയിൽസ് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോ കൗണ്ടറിൽ ഇരുന്ന ചേച്ചി ആരെയോ വിളിച്ചു. ഒരാൾ വന്നു നമ്മളെ കൂട്ടികൊണ്ട് പോയി ഒരു മുറിയിൽ ഇരുത്തി ആരോ വരും അവരോടു സംസാരിക്കാൻ പറഞ്ഞു. പക്ഷെ ആരും വന്നില്ല. അവസാനം ഡോക്ടറെ കാണിച്ചു മടങ്ങി. ഒരു മൂന്നു മണികൂറോളും ഹോസ്പിറ്റൽ നമ്മൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു ആരും ഇതിനു മറുപടി തന്നില്ല. ഒരുതരത്തിൽ തട്ടിപ്പു തന്നെയാണല്ലോ ഇതും 50 രൂപയായത് കൊണ്ടാകാം ഇതു ആരും ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യാത്തതു. പക്ഷെ അവർ എത്ര പെരില്‍ നിന്ന് ഇതു ഈടാക്കുന്നു. സർവീസ് ചാർജ് എന്ന പേരിൽ ദിവസവും എത്ര മാത്രം പണം ഇവർക്കു വരുന്നുണ്ടാകും.

VERY BAD SERVICE. I came here with my relative because she was having surgery next day. We had already checked in with hospital and they said “come at 9 in the morning and we will get u admitted” and it DID NOT HAPPEN.they kept telling us to go here and there and when it was all over by 1 pm, they made in wait in a ward saying that all rooms are full. Well if all rooms are full why would they even tell us to get admitted on the day every room was full? It was exhausting sitting on a chair for more than 6 hours. Still they didn’t give us a room! I swear they should know better about their patients situation and how congested their hospital is! ALL DOCTORS are good though. It’s just the hospital services and departments having no coordination

One of the bestest hospital to look onto with one of a kind support and treatment. The trust which we will get from the Doctors helps the patient to overcome even the slightest fear in patient. The Service from Dr Boben Thomas and Dr Ganesh is simply incomparable. It's not complete without thanking the nursing staff and all the supporting staff for their countless support and helpful nature.

They dont even provide sanitizers to their patients, and their whole building is a centralized AC admist this pandemic situation.
And they charge a 500 upfront for these facilities that i dont see ia neccessary.
And how could a multi specialty hospital not provide sanitizers to the people coming inside the building.

Utter disappointment and dissatisfaction!
GG hospital gave me a wonderful delivery experience, that's why I decided to take my 3 months old son there when he started developing mild fever with rashes. We were admitted under Dr. Vidya (pediatrician). From the very first meeting itself, I was feeling uncomfortable because I couldn't find even a pinch of empathy in her words. She didn't even show the interest to examine my son carefully n straight away concluded that my son had meningitis n need to be subjected to lumbar puncture. When we suspected an insect bite as the causal factor of fever, she was hesitant to hear our views n ruled it out completely. But later on she admitted that other could be a reason. On Second day of admission, since she couldn't manage the fever of my child in ward, he was shifted to PICU.

A special mention to the pediatric Intensivist. She actually made initiative to have a heart to heart conversation with us enquiring even the minute details of my son from tip to toe, literally explaining to us each n everything word by word, attending us even during late nights n consoling us at every juncture. She made us so comfortable during our PICU stay n I vouch for the fact that it wouldn't have been possible for us to stay there without her presence. A heartfelt gratitude to her n her team of nurses in the ICU. Afer two days of PICU, child was totally fever free and shifted back to ward.
In Ward, Dr Vidya planned to prescribe antibiotics for 21 days (to extend our hospital stay) for no reason when she herself couldn't figure out what exactly triggered the fever. The neurologist n the dermatologist opined that the baby was fine, she employed another dermatologist who asked us to send the a part of skin for biopsy. V expected a lot more care from the nurses in the ward but all in all v suffered like hell during our stay in the ward. Unfortunately, due to severe mental pressure from dr Vidya and her sudden change in opinions/decisions, v moved on to some other hospital as v weren't satisfied with her. At the second hospital, the senior most doctor asked us to stop the antibiotics prescribed by her immediately n ruled out all her theories. My child was perfectly fine and we went home.

GG Hospital in Thiruvanhapuram is a good hospital as I have seen during my treatment during 27th July to 5th August 2021.

Never ever go to this hospital if you need urgent medical attention. Went with my daughter for asking an immediate care from ENT dept. They made me wait for 1.45 Hrs. Very irresponsible behavior. At last I took her to another hospital and got treated. So Ppease dont choose this hospital in case of emergency. If you are free to spend your whole day in an airconditioned space, pick your laptop, get some drinks, take an OP ticket and relax in their chairs in front of ENT OP.

Recently I had an episode of kidney stone pain and had to undergo an emergent procedure in your hospital. I must confess that your service was extremely good and i got discharged on the very next day of my procedure. My sincere gratitude to Dr. Balachandran sir and Senior staff Sudha mam, and to all and each one of staff especially the one who had taken care of me in the post surgical ward.

I had to hospitalise my wife due to some medical problem.

I found everyone in the hospital very cooperative right from emergency to private ward/ hospitalisation. Good care. System of hospital is very good. I never felt at any point that they are working for money. I felt that they work to serve humanity only. Doctors all the times give due care, attention, time and proper guidance.

I really loved the hospital unlike Delhi where no one has time to explain much.

I specially thankful for Dr Abhilash H under whom the treatment is going on. My wife is quite better and doing well now. Thanks for his valuable guidance and all time due care.

Visited hospital casuality in mid night couple of days ago with my kid. The lady Doctor from casuality and nurses were so good and proffessional. Doctor Explained each and everything including medication and further treatment plans.manager nasim helped a lot on billing and arrangement of room fastly and helped like my own brother. For the first time I see quick response from a manager helping to take a structure and run when he get a call that some emergency accident ambulance coming. OP charges are comparitively good but there is no cashless for insurance also. Totally feelgood. The management is new and good.

I had my annual check up in gg hospital and it was a great experience. Well Women check up package is extremely good and ensures our phyical and health condition which covers all the necessary tests. Staff were extemely good and caring. I would also like to call out specifically the attention and care given Ms Anjitha Prem who was accompanying me throughout time i was in the hospital. Because of her continous attention and guidance i didnt experience any delay or incovenience. Really appreciate her activeness and smartness.

I have been admitted to this hospital 3-4 times within the past 2 years. The doctors and nurses are very friendly especially at casuality. Charges are affordable comparing to other private hospitals in trivandrum city. Really happy with the service.

I have tried thiz hospital two times. Both times i came to know that, Doctors are not punctual and management are totally aware of it and they are not taking any necessary steps to avoid it.

The strange thing is that they are charging high parking fees from their own customers and that also for a non covered parking slot

One of the best hospital for surgical gastroenterology. Team under Dr Arun Kumar M L is doing a very good service. Nursing care needs to be mentioned for it's excellence.

Good doctors. Casualty / Emergency department is one of the better ones in Trivandrum. Doctor and staffs patiently attend you even at midnight. However in-patient facilities and service is not up to the standard expected.

The worst hospital in trivandrum. Never had seen such an indifferent behaviour from a Doctor like Dr. Ashish Salim. The nurses were not even giving a glance at the casualty. They were careless. You are not providing free service to the patient. Patients are also customers. They should get treated for the fee they pay.

Very pathetic service. Unempathetical approach from the nurses and Dr. Jonathan at the casualty. At last we asked for discharge and left from there. Worst hospital experience ever.

Back after a long time, 15+ years to GG. Could see that things have improved for better after the management change.

One thing I found very helpful is the fact that most bills have to be paid only at the end. The staff helped us in getting medicines as well. Not as costly compared to other hospitals in the area, could see that they are trying to make the process smoother.

Doctors are not available during consultation time and looks like hospital has no control over this. I have been told surgeon doctor is available in hospital (over the call and also at reception) and then booked for consultation on 05-Dec-2019 and waited for two hours and was later asked to see a different doctor as doctor is unavailable. Looks like the doctor is not picking the hospital calls and they don't know where the doctor is and looks like he has not reached hospital itself. Wasted my half day leave and money for an unavailable doctor. GG, Please don't publish consultation times if you are not sure your doctors are available and stop lying over the phone/at reception also. I was planning to schedule a surgery here as I stay very close to GG, but now I lost my faith in this hospital and have to get the procedure done somewhere else. Imagine the situation of similar cases in critical post operative care scenarios and doctors are not available. This is not one off case, this is the second time I am facing same situation with GG with same doctor and hence decided to post a review. If you respect your time, GG is not you place for consultation. Hope GG management can do something about this.

The funny thing of this big hospital is that they are earning high parking fees from their own patients and customers!

Every service in this hospital is delayed even if there are less paitents. One of the Pediatrician is worst and using our fear as advantage to earn money. Lab results are fake. Please don't trust this hospital especially pediatricians and lab results.

When there is an emergency for a IP Patient as well as OP Patient, doctors will be Available in Phone or Directly.
Doctors will make us Understand the Problem regarding Patient through a Good Communication.

Rooms are good and they Provide Different types of Rooms with Different Prices like ₹800 & ₹900 for Non AC rooms and ₹1800 & ₹2000 for AC rooms.
Very Good Food Court with Attractive Menu. Food will be Send to Rooms while we make a Call over Phone. (It will be Costly as Compared). Cost is Reasonable when we Dine in.

Cons:
Parking is a Major Issue that I have Faced. Need to Drive 500 metres towards and make an U-Turn and Drive 400 metres to Reach Parking Area. And also Parking Area is too Small as it can Accommodate only 40-60 cars at a time. And there is a Parking Fees of ₹30 for Car that is not good. I think there will be a New Building and Parking Area which is under construction and will Open Soon Opposite to Current Building and then this issue will be Resolved.

Not Provided as much Nursing Staffs to each Floor and Current Staff are very Busy and Running to Treat Patients. Provide some more Staffs to each Floor.

Pharmacy is too Small, when it will be Large then the Rush at Pharmacy will be Solved and makes Smooth Purchases of Medicines. Sometimes will have to wait too much time.

I visited this hospital for speciality treatment for a close family member. Easily accessible from main road and easily visible from main road, finding the hospital was not at all a difficult job. I took the first appointment and subsequent appointments over phone. Services like, new patient registration and appointment payment is all very easy. Front office staff is very helpful and customer focused. The treatment quality is as good as a super speciality hospital I used to visit earlier. Since the hospital area is less, the people density is slightly on the higher side, but the treatment quality over weighs the same. This hospital has all major departments of treatments. Patients are called in order and has a nice clean and comfortable waiting area. Hospital has got a good food place too. Parking area is managed by security professionals and handled neatly. (One need to hand over the keys to the security personal).

I have been here for consultation of my close family in gastro department. Doctors here are very good and friendly. They explained us all the process with ease. Front reception staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are economic but very clean and tidy. Food court seems to be recently renovated. Overall a good experience.

I am glad to inform all that, me and my family are very much satisfied with the services provided by the GG Hospital for my sister's surgery (Laproscopic) Appendectomy) Special thanks to Dr Arun Kumar (Gastro Surgeon) for the high quality medical care rendered. My sister initially admitted in another super specialty hospital in Trivandrum. However we could not afford their huge cost. Then my friend Bimal Roy recommended GG Hospital and it was turned to be a blessing. Their services were excellent at an affordable rates. I am happy that my Sister was discharged with full vigor and health. God bless the GG Hospital authorities, for giving such high class medical care at a very affordable rates.

My son was admitted to GG hospital due to fever for 6 days. The rooms were clean. Doctor Rekha Hari and sisters were very kind and helpful. Good quality treatment and reasonable cost. They have tie up with Meddi assist insurance. Got Rs. 300 as discount as well.
As I live close by, i go to GG hospital for any medical need. They have almost all medical departments.

Went for a cardiac check up on 20/9/2019. The whole check took about 4 hours and the service was too good. Especially the service from Mrs Sudha Nair was outstanding. She helped me from registration till consulting the doctors. Overall the patient care coordinator service was simply awesome
