Gokul Oottupura - Panampilly Nagar

Have came here many times and every time has been good. Even though it’s Indian veg (meaning no eggs) it’s a great place to come and have some traditional Kerala foods. Always busy FOR GOOD REASON. Be ready for some waiting for tables if you come during the lunch or dinner rush

We had north indian lunch along with mushroom and fried rice, my dad was vomiting very badly afterwards. Also the seating was near the tandoor cooking area and it was very hot and uncomfortable. The food was bad, the quality and service sub standard. Overall a very bad experience.

I was in panampilly nagar for just a day and i wanted to taste some north indian chaat like panipuri and dahi puri, some one told me to go here and not to go to bikas babu (horrible name) and so i went here and i was amazed they really serve some good tasting chaats and not like we normally get in kerala, taste had north indian street food touch in it, me and my wife were satisfied.apart from it they serve lots of south indian and north indian veg dishes.cofee and tea is great.neat place to eat, staff really good.overall a good place to have simple but tasty veg food.

Nice place to eat@@ @# you oreder ur food and wait for 20 minutes. Same staff who took ur order come back again and ask you what you want? So u go to the counter and notify it. Their reply is like sorry they can't understand malayalam. Better u put a bord on entrence.learn some other languages to eat from ur place. Pathetic.

This location, they are also serving in the next non-veg restaurant whereas the 'pure veg' board covers the other restaurant also which is misleading. Not comfortable.

Had the north indian thali, please don't go for it. It is in very limited quantity with only 2 chapatis and a handful of pulav. I've had the dish from many different places in EKM;the one they serve here is NOT worth the price either for the quantity nor for the quality

This is a small veg restaurant. Food is really good and fresh. Lots of North Indian options including chats.best place to have a hunger break. They have out sitting arrangements and one can sit inside the restaurant too. There is a hand wash area where there is no sign board which they need to have and also I have no idea about the toilets if they have.
Try a South Indian breakfast. Vegetarian food like dosas etc is pretty good. Interiors are designed kerala style. Can be crowded in evenings Might be expensive for regulars but very affordable to people who want to indulge once in a while. The service is above average. They have a dedicated chat counter in the evenings. Overall a must visit place for anyone who wants to try any vegetarian dishes.

This is a small veg restaurant in panampally. You can park infront of the places. Food is really good and fresh. Lots of North Indian options including chats. Baby Corn was absolutely yummy.

Better put a name only for northies. Most of their suppliers are racist. They are least caring to keralites. Only they were interested in attending the northies. Today we visited and for taking the order from us waited for more than 15 minute and were treated like having food for free. Ordered food not delivered on time after doing a lot of follow up with the supplier. Last we had ordered a chat but we waited so long and left without having due to this poor service. Next to us one northern side family was also there and the waiter attended and took care of them warmly. They ordered more than the dish we ordered and supplied on time. Will never visit here in the future and I'm going to tell this incident to the nearest one also. This is not the first time this kind of similar incident happened. But again I visited here just because it is nearer to my home.

Will tempt you to visit the place again and again due to the excellent taste. Pav Bhaji is a must try

The food is great, but would have been more happier if I had more paneer in my paneer butter masala.

I used to have lunch from Gokul's oottupura before covid19, with that belief i took my friends from Trivandrum today to Oottupura and had the worst kind of food i ever had from a hotel. I am totally disappointed in the kind of food quality you provide. Kindly bring back the old food quality or else you may loose customers like us.

Order taking staff are not well trained. Even if there's something available, they'll say it's not available. You'll be lucky if they hear you out.

White Coconut chutney served with Dosa was stale from atleast a couple of days before.

Got my onam sadya from here yesterday for thiruonam.and it was a very bad choice.it didn't have many normal curries which any sadya shud have including Pineapple curry, black gram curry and a few others.

But pineapple Curry missing was an utter disappointment for me.

Palada tasted decent.parippu payasam was not good at all and all curries and even the rice was ice cold.curries I can understand, but atleast if the rice was atleast warm, I wouldnt have complained so much.

After paying 350/- you don't expect to get something which is almost like a Rs. 120/- meals.

Never again for Sadya from Gokul.

Wanted to share a very bad experience we had today when we visited Gokul Oottupura Panampilly Nagar with family. The staff by name Rijo (That was the name given to me by the manager) has misbehaved with us when enquired about Onam sadya. Somebody needs to teach their staff on how to behave to the customers. I have brought it to the manager’s notice as well. The body language of the staff was disrespectful and he needs to be taught how to show good manners. When customers approach, he never looks at them and shows highly unwelcoming body language and gives away an indifferent response as if it was a mistake to go there after the sadya orders were closed. I have been a regular Gokul oottupura customer, and this was our first negative experience.

Doesnt compare in ambience to the coziness of the Gokul Oottupura behind Ernakulathappan ambalam, or to the efficiency of the one in edapally. But it’s a good one.

Cost is normal than other restuarent. Even they dont provide a proper bills showing only purchased item without amount.

On road best place to have a hunger break. Loved their dosa and bullet idli. They have out sitting arrangements and one can sit inside the restaurant too. But the noise of kitchen and the smell of other food items are high inside. They can play some good music to add on to the experience to their customers and need to do something about kitchen noise. Totally disappointed with the food and service. We will get better food and service with decent price in Vanitha hotel.

Wonderful restaurant in Panampilly Nagar. Ideal for friend and family tea time and snacks. Good quality vegetarian dishes. But a tad to warm in here if coming got lunch. Being an open restaurant, theres no AC. But in the evening the joint is bustling with people. Overall good establishment

I went to Gokul ootupura, today evrning. The tables there were partially occupied especially the bigger ones with 6/7 chairs were occupied by 2/3 people. We requested to arrange us a seat to the manager thrice by rearranging the seats judiciously. He doesn't give a damn. He was 'വേണേൽ കഴിച്ചിട്ട് പോടാ 'attitude and.words. Just hated it

Couldn't find negative stars for feedback. If you're ready to wait for food which would eventually turn into a night-out, this is the best place to go. They serve leftover food if you reach 1 hr.before closing time & pronounce it complementary since it was not your choice of order.

It's very sad that such a good restaurant is providing extremely diluted soap water at the washroom for hand wash specially during covid 19 situation. It's totally unsafe and not at all appreciated and when informed to the manager they are not at all serious. The food is amazing and good quality. Two Stars for not being serious about safety.

Suppliers are very unhygienic. They touches their face masks frequently and supplies food without even washing their hands.

Good range of dishes from all types of South Indian to North Indian. Had a rava dosa that was well prepared using authentic spices. The service was fast. It was worth a visit, will visit again.

I went there to have this peri peri fried idly. It's a signtaure item by them. So cool? I love it. Yummy tasty fried idly waiting to be dipped in peri peri sauce. Go and have it

Ambience, staff behaviour, toilets and parking were good.
But food was not that much tasty.
Price little bit high but it is a multi cuisine restaurant, so keep in mind.

Went there to have Al faham but came to know that it was a vegetarian hotel. Was forced to have overpriced masala dosai.

Excellent South Indian vegetarian menu. Puttu kadala is a favourite. But go early on sundays. Preferably before 10 am. Menu tends to run out after that. Expect some waiting before bwing seated.

Good vegetarian hotel. Very clean and neat. The food is of great quality and not too expensive. Variety of chats and north Indian dishes are also available.

Very nice food. Very nice and friendly staff. Mr. Arunachalnam served our table. Excellent suggestions given by him. Very nice Uthappam. Good ambience. Strongly recommend.

Very good place for many different veg and non veg food. They will bring your school and college days back how you eaten your lunch packed from home by your parents.

Good place and love their service staff too. Nice South Indian food and equally tasty north Indian cuisine. Chole bhatura is must try and paneer tikka is so yum.

A Good Family Friendly Vegetarian Restaurant. With wonderful parking space can accommodate upto 15+ cars in a single Time. The food was Okay-ish, not bad not that good. I myself found the Roti and Butter nan too be quite hard and was not very happy with burnt Gobi Manchurian.

This is the second venue of Gokul oottupura I've visited in Ernakulam. Place is clean and tidy. Service is quick. Food is tasty. "Podi roast" is a must try dosa from here. The coffee is one of the best one I've had around Ernakulam.

Went for breakfast. Delicious preparations of local dishes. Had idiappam kadala curry, butter masala dosas and poori sabji. All items were delicious in their taste. The chutneys were also yum. Decently priced pure veg restaurant.

Gokul is a pure veg restaurant. They are providing decent food. On first floor of Gokul oottupura there is a restaurant called Aavi. They have "pothichoru" in the noon. I too tested. Superb taste

Food quality and taster was good. But customer service is very poor. No one cares about customer who is waiting for too long. Since in panampily nagar, we expected some good customer service.
