At Gokul Oottupura Vegetarian Restaurant, diners can enjoy a variety of vegetarian dishes in a pleasant dining atmosphere. While the food is enjoyable, some may find it doesn’t quite match up to the offerings at Brindavan Vegetarian Restaurant.

I love this outlet, because of its ambience. My favourites are Podi Masala Dosa and Filter Coffee. It is spacious, it has an open kitchen and a spacious washing area. However my only issue is, they serve very little chutney in take aways and deliveries.

Breakfast and Lunch are best. Evening chat items are also good. I am not quite sure of the Indian Chinese food served there

Price is high comparitevely with other veg restaurant nearby. Don't have variety food.

Fantastic place to have an authentic South Indian breakfast, Close to Eranakulathappan Temple. Very tasty food, a great atmosphere and amazing dining experience (nalukettu home design). Very good service, staff is so supportive and helpful.

Food was really great and affordable. The service can little bit better. We tried Chhole Bhature, Peri peri idli, Uttapam, Gokul special Dosa and Rava Masala Dosa. I would recommend to try this restaurant.

Always busy as next to district court. Staff is prompt and area is clear. No 2nd though before going for normal food.

One of the better restaurants to have South Indian food in Ernakulam. Bit crowded in evenings and on holiday, but worth the wait.

We had paneer dosa we are enjoyed it nice atmosphere. Everywhere is clean and healthy we are coming back

One of the best veg restaurants i have ever tried, believe me I have been to many. There podi idly fry is a unique dish, tried their samosa Chaat and pav baji; They were good and basic as well; Tried their special masala dosa, which was really good; Their kothuporotta was also good, inspite of the limitation of confining to only veg mix; The only avg was their tea, which was powder rather than milk, which i felt below avg, hence the 4 star; Dotry and lemme know guys also tried podi dosa roast; That was avg as well

High cost for medium quality food.

15 ₹ for a tea and 90 ₹ for meals.both are not worth of money.and average curries.some items are made with black oil (poori, bhattoora etc). Curry's quantity with 'chana bhattoora' is very less. Some staffs are good/hard working but few of them are irresponsible. Kitchen is unhygienic

Good vegetarian restaurant just in front of North Entrance of Shiva temple. Taste and ambience is good. Only problem is, the service is not consistent and sometimes it gets very hot inside as there are no ACs

Bought vegetable biriyani which wasn't that good. It was of average quality only. The pappad provided was not even consumable. Also the quantity was very less. I am not satisfied. Just check the picture I posted with this review. Also bought chappathi and Gopi manchurian which was also below standard. Expects much better from Gokul oottupura, really disappointed.

Nice place for vegetarian meals. Calm place in the middle of city. I had a bad experience there. I ordered 2 onion roast and 3 plain dosa as parcel, and paid amount. After reaching home I found they packed only 1 onion roast and 1 dosa. The hotel cashier accepted their mistake, but I didn't collected the balance food from there.

Good place for a decent lunch. Packed during lunch time with high court people.a good tiffin service for morning and night also.

An upscale place. Taste and ambience is excellent. But the food quantity is not upto the money. Need to wait for long if you order any kind of shakes. Parking wont be an issue. Not easily locatable as it not so close to main road.

Best option for vegetarians around MG road ernakulam. The dishes served are not only tasty but authentic.

Once upon a Time, it was our favorite South Indian Veg Restaurant for breakfast. Their Medhu/Uzhunnu Vada used to be great. Now they lost their biz with rivals nearby

Worst breakfast I have ever had.pooris were fried in black oil.black oil coated puris.chutney served with idlis was stale.chaay was good though.anyways my heart goes out to the owners of this place for their wasted efforts and dedication.

Authentic Kerala traditional food for affordable price. Friendly staff and a welcome atmosphere. Finding parking space is a Herculean task though.

Bit costly but you get some amazing food here. Ambiance are all good. No specific area for car parking you can leave it along the roadside. Walkable distance from ernakulam shiva temple.

A fine restaurant with local dishes. When I ate kadalakkari got with putt, I felt like home. Saved electricity by avoiding air conditioner. Nicely mannered service men (even at early morning and at night 15 mins before closing).

Too much delay for the waiters to approach and too much time for cooking.also dishes are costly.good ambience is a plus point

It's right next to the Ernakulam temple so it's a routine to go to the temple and the have Breakfast from here. Peaceful surrounding. 4 wheeler parking could be an issue due to the temple crowd. It's a neat place and serves good food. One hundred percent vegetarian.

If you want to visit Ernakulathappan temple then this is the place I would recommend for you. It's located quite nearby the temple and is also in the heart of the Ernakulam city.
The breakfast is really good for this budget and there is a separate area for the guests complementary breakfast. The area is a bit quite in comparison to the noise in the city so this is the current recommended one for low to medium budget travellers.

Good ambience. Price tag not much higher as compared to same type of hotels. Attitude of servers are quite good. Lastly the food, which will taste good, and keep its quality good among the available near bys. Forget to take the pic. I have tasted masala dosa, special green piece curry, porotha, uthappam, everything tastes good. Highly recommended.
