Gokulam Grand Resort and Spa Kumarakom

Fantastic experience at the resort - views, facilities, service. Special call-out to Mr Nikhil at the restaurant who was great and gave wonderful dinner suggestions. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Overall the stay was amazing, Nice staff, the food was excellent, should recommend it to everyone. Property ambience was awesome. Really enjoyed it and can't wait to make an another visit very soon.

I stayed here for two days. Fantastic location and best hotel.
However i would like to mention few points for improvements:
1. Shower is not having pressure
2. Staff needs to be trained. Thy are very humble but seems inexperienced.
3.on the day of departure I asked for 3/4 bananas and 3/4 muffins while going back to Cochin airport but they denied, even when i asked for a water bottle they demanded its price.
In last 10 years i had been to atleast 20 five star hotels in India but never been asked for any such charges.
4. I asked for F & B manager 3/4 times for my lions clubs conference but they could not make it. While departure when i ask again then only F & B manager turned up.
5. Breakfast is not up to five star hotel standards. Less items and flat taste.
6. AC restaurant is comparatively small.
7. On my arrival i asked for a up gradation of a room but staff said that hotel is fully occupied, but i realised that only 20 or 30% occupied.
Excellent Cleanliness, Many daily activities, Nice cooperation from travel assistant Surabhi.

Excellent property.amenities were good.food and activities were also very good.more than anythng is their top notch hospitality. Went with kids and they njoyed a lot.went out all the way to make my 10 months old baby food.must visit place in kumarakonam.special thanks to the duty manager and the activity staff there.will surely visit again

We stayed deluxe rooms good rooms. Comfortable stay. Property well maintained and all staffs are excellent. Boating was excellent and tea coffee section good. Fishing swimming pool was very nice. All food especially buffet breakfast is good. We booked through by make my trip, when we checked in Miss. Krishna madam help us lots and she explained very well. Thank you so much gokulam.

It was a very good experience when I came here. Special mention should be made of the staff themselves, they are all very nice espicially Vineetha & Krishna. I liked all the amenities except pool. The food was also very good. I still want to come with my family on vacation

Excellent service, Goodyear rooms, our trip was mémorable and food was Excellent. All thé staffs are Good. Front des, service, housekeeping entire management all are vers helpful. Krishna, shérif, kukku, vineeta and everybody was wonderful.

It was amazing staying in Gokulam Grand resort and spa. This resort is giving us the experience of living in paradise. Excellent service from all the staff. All are highly professional and skilled. I and my husband Ankuran enjoyed the stay and all the activities provided by the Gokulam Grand. Food is superb and we really loved the traditional Kerela food. Highly recommended!

One of the best vacation we had… thanks to the staff at Gokulam Grand.each and everyone, right from the front desk staff, concierge, managers, serving staff, house keeping staff, sport’s executive, security staff, gardeners all were so pleasant and smiling all the time and ready to help/serve all your little needs…
The property is located at the banks of Vembanad lake and it’s just picture perfect… well maintained and clean… the food which was part of our package was really yummy…
What stands out here are the little things-
- greeting and eagerness to help by the staff
- morning yoga and guided meditation
- the evening chai in the garden with snacks
- daily cultural events (we experienced mohiniattam 1 evening and flute tabla the other evening)
- Ayurvedic spa
- chefs demonstration of cooking local food
- suggestions for day trip by the staff (we were suggested canal cruise by the staff which was so beautiful)
- daily evening sunset cruise…
It was worth our time and money… it was a soul soothing vacation

We had the pleasure to host our wedding at Gokulam Resort, and had the most spectacular 3 days. As a five star resort it did not disappoint, but what left a lasting impression on us was the service of all the staff. The staff went above and beyond what any hotel should do. We was treated like family. I want to a say special thank you to Mahe, Manoj, Chef Binumon & Neved. As the groom, there was numerous stressful moments, for example breaking my wedding maalai (chain) which Mahe (F&B Director) took care of without any fuss. We could not be any happier with our choice and we will definitely be returning to Kerala to see the Gokulam family.

The food which was specially curated by the Chef was amazing, our guests still talk about the food 6 weeks on, it is bursting with the Kerala flavours. The venue itself is paradise, it truly represents why Kerala is known as God's own country.

We had a lovely family get together in this resort. It is a very beautiful property, breathtaking surrounding- right at the end of the back waters. There are a lot of activities you can do for free- a cruise in the back waters, kayaking or pedal boating in a pond, the indoor games like TT, carom, chess, foosball etc. Staff is very friendly. Food is also good, however they do take time to deliver- this is because they make the food fresh after we order. We had a very nice relaxed holiday here. Feeling good:)

Its a brand new property in Kumarakom opened only in April 2022. Its the perfect resort for experiencing the beauty of backwaters. It has an inside Kayaking! Which for me was the highlight of the stay. Must visit!

Gokulam Grand Resort and spa is highly recommendable, one of the best resorts in South India. The facilities are good, the Staff is very friendly, accommodating and well service oriented. The room is cosy, and I love the rooms connected to the swimming pool. My girls and I enjoyed our stay; lastly, the food selection is great, so if you like privacy and relaxation, this is the place.

Deepak from spa was excellent. Recommend him. Ambience and environment was very soothing and relaxing.

We loved the place. The location as well as the activities inside the property is amazing. The staff is very courteous and goes out of the way to keep the guests comfortable. We loved the breakfast spread as well. Special mention about Ms Ruth, who actually went above the call of her duty to retrieve our shades from the water body.

I actually recommend my friend to stay there with his family for two nights. What they said since it is a newly built place so most things are new t room was good but they complained about the services.they were not happy with there service and as they had two kids with them they couldn't go outside to buy some gifts for friends and family as there is no shop in such big resort they were not happy about that too. Atleast when you are staying in such big resort it's not understable why they can't have a shop there inside the resort.it would be great experience to shop there.but then as they were flying back home they had to go empty handed home without buying any gifts.hopefully they ll improve there services and create some shopping experience for people who don't want to go outside for shopping.

Stayed for 2 nights in premium lake view villa. Amazing views, beautiful resort, great staff super friendly and helpful. Spa was out of world amazing. Arranged a special dinner for our anniversary which was really cute.
For 5 star resort, food didn't hit the mark and could have been better, particularly dinner buffet. Local cuisine dishes were good and breakfast spread was decent.

This place is beyond gorgeous! We stayed in a lakeside view villa and it was beautiful. All the staff here were very helpful and responsive. Also there is so much to do in here! Will definitely come back soon ️

Had a wonderful experience. "Day out" at the resort was amazing. Firstly, special mention to the staff at the reception (Very informative, cheerful and humble).
The Buffet lunch was amazing. Variety of options. The Game zone was really good too. Lastly the boat ride was the best. All in all we had a great time at the resort.

We had a beautiful experience at the spa. Deepak and Shilpa gave us amazing full body massages with steam baths afterwards. We would recommend this Ayurveda treatment to anyone!

This resort is super fabulous—warm and helpful staff, delicious food, the best massages I’ve ever had, the rooms so clean and comfy—I can’t say enough good things about this resort. Make sure you go on an early morning backwater ride for 2 hrs—it’s really special! Thanks to all for a great stay!

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help and the DGM Mr Manoj kumar was very proactive. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.
Had a wonderful experience at the resort with the scenic views of the vembanad lake caught a few pearl fish! Thank you! Will recommend.

Had a privilege of taking massage at the resort by deepak. They were very professional and took good care of the massage. There are plenty of treatment options too. Do try!

Had an amazing experience staying in Gokulam. They have amazing spa facility, very friendly and cooperative staff, Shilpa took care while having spa and she was great with all the communications. Had an amazing stay.

This property is very beautiful and scenic property. It has a lovely lake view. The hospitality was great. The food was very tasty. It also has a lot of activities to offer which are seamlessly arranged for you. Definitely recommend this place for a peaceful and comfortable stay.
