The facilities and everything is fine but what is the use of they don't treat the patient properly this is my honest review I saw how my grandparents are suffering they are not even concerned about poor people they treat only rich people in proper way I stay out of Kerala but still i am posting means only this is the way I can share to everyone how the hospitality is please come at your own risk I actually have to give two Star but also some of the facilities have humanity so i am giving three stars.
Most requer thing in life water and health we go to hospital for recover our selve from all disease but in govt college hospital no arrangements of drinking water for patients or attendents.it's horrible and strength also.how the people survive if he bought water for madicine.no one hear and think and take responsibility for this.ward 15 to 5 no water avilable to drink
Parking is very difficult around here. Mondays are the busiest of the days. Direct public transport to this place is available from other places. You wont get treatment in this place unless you were suggested by another doctor or its an emergency. Once I had this experience. For another regular day to day diseases, you should visit General hospital Trivandrum. And that too before noon. These places are too busy. I dont know about the treatment in here because I didn't had a chance to enter this place for treatment
One of the top Government hospital in Kerala located in Thiruvananthapuram. You can reach here easily anywhere from Thiruvananthapuram by KSRTC bus. The doctors and staffs are well experienced. Recently Emergency medicine and trauma care mood to the new building at the enders area.

World class hospital with free treatment. Good quality. All the Doctors and staffs do good service here. The hospital functions day and night thoughout the year.
Building is old.lift only for patient. I had my daughter's wilms tumor removed in this hospital free of cost, which would have cost 5-6lacks in Pvt hospital.experienced doctors and highly talented staff. Only issue I faced was with security person, they don't allow you inside hospital without a pass.wards are poorly maintained has to improve, as it's a govt medical college it's fine. Free food for patients inside. You also get cheap food from jail canteen outside.lots of charity work outside if you enquire you will free rooms.
The Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram (also known as Thiruvananthapuram Medical College) is in Thiruvananthapuram (the capital of Kerala), India. Founded in 1951, it was dedicated by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and is Kerala's oldest medical college. The college was known in early records as Medical College (of Thiruvananthapuram), since it was the only medical institute in the state at its inception.
Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram is the Largest medical college in kerala. Provides better treatment than any other hospitals in kerala. The best medical College in Kerala beyond doubt. Tertiary centre with all Superspecialty departments. Dedicated Mother and Child hospital in SAT. Separate block for the Superspecialty departments. Recently opened Multi speciality block with state of the art facilities & Medical College of trivandrum. Very awesome place. Good environment. The building is a little huge and have lot of space. Also there is a parking area for the staffs amd students. Many students are studying here. They have every modern facilities in this campus. There is an awesome garden infront of the college campus. Good place. Customer service has to be improved. Some staffs are very rude and not even ready to hear what we say. According to me facilities are available here but mismanagement is the main issue. Patients are not treated in a better manner. There should be proper information system to guide the people at the reception.
I am a student of this Medical college. Now I am doing my internship of the Bsc. Perfusion Technology Course. The Medical College Hospital is the premiere institution for the provision of comprehensive tertiary health care irrespective of economic or social status and disabilities. It is the largest multi-specialty hospital in South Kerala serving the major portion of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam Districts and adjacent districts of Tamil Nadu. It is administered by a Superintendent. The hospital consists of the main hospital block, Trauma care, Casualty, Out Patient Department Block, Super Specialty block, Multispeciality block, KHRWS Pay wards and Administrative block. The best medical college of Kerala State. By the sheer number of eminent doctors produced by this Medical college alone will put this one at par with anything in the world for sure. Even in this new age still it maintains its place. Salutes to everyone who truly dedicated their lives for this. The dedicated team of professionals. No words to describe their talents. Their services are priceless, just a thank you is not enough. Doctors with God's hands. The Doctors dedication even on hectic schedules with great patience is remarkable They know what to do, when to do, what can be done. Only God can reward them for their services.

One of the most mismanaged place in the state. This must be the best and biggest state of art excellent hospital in Kerala but sheer negligence (or interest of private hospital) from the authorities making this a state of art mess. They have all the facilities but placed artfully are diagonal corners of the campus. They have the excellent doctors but the service and systems from the staff makes the treatment a hell. They have got the cheapest pharmacy but will have to walk from one counter to next to get the right on. Don't ask further.just one single word.best place made worse by authorities.

Its campus houses several hospitals and institutions in addition to Medical College Hospital (MCH), including the Colleges of Nursing and Pharmaceutical sciences, the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram Dental College, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, the Priyadarshini Institute of Paramedical Sciences and the Sree Avittom Thirunal Hospital for Women and Children (SAT Hospital). The Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (RIO), also a part of the college, is being upgraded to a national-level independent institute. The School of Optometry is also on campus.
One of the first medical colleges of Trivandrum, serving community for more than half a century, possession of post modern medical technologies and equipments but in limited number, highly skilled clinicians but always under staffed, Located right at the centre of Trivandrum city but the layout of the buildings are confusing to a common man as there is no proper sign post or personal relations officers to guide you, emergency-departments, laboratory departments and imaging departments are located away from each other, always overcrowded and cleanliness has reached a health and safety issue for the public. Not at all recommended it’s emergency departments.
