Gowri Cafe Palakkad

It has been about about a month now since I came back and I still miss the food! It was sooooo good! Thanks for introducing me to various cusinies, especially Pongal. Can't wait to come back to Palakkad to try the food again.

Afternoon 2 pm went there after visited Malampulzha Dam.pure veg hotel, taste like awesome.curd and lemon rice with pickle and chutney and sambar, puppet, homely style, cost very reasonable. Highly recommented

A small hotel with a big heart.you will get the best hospitality and service here. Had breakfast which was mouth watering.must try Pongal and Sambar idly. Service at its best People from Tamilnadu will surely love as the sambar was like nama ooru sambar.

Vegetable Biriyani is really good and economical. Comes wrapped in banana leaf with Raitha and Lemon Pickle. It is little spicy and prepared in Tamil Nadu style.

Only problem is that the restaurant opens and is available in food delivery platforms at irregular times. It is better to call and ask them before making any plans.

Ordered set dosa from here. The food was packed well and tasted quite good. Sambar tasted great.

Great place to munch on veg fare. The place is just near the Palakkad town station and at a place called Tharekkad. The Chembai memorial music college, Govt Moyens High School, Govt PWD rest house are all at a stone's throw distance. Though space is at a premium, breakfast time could be a bit crowded. They accept UPI payments which add to the plus points.

Nice place to go for a simple, vegetarian breakfast. The owner was lovely and helped us choose some typical Kerala breakfast options. The food was tasty and nice to try. Very reasonable cost. Small space to sit in with locals.
