Grand Ayur Island

We had the reunion of our batch from SSMC, Tvm on Dec. 10. The location is calm, beautiful and mind blowing. The service of staff was impressive. Abilash, jisha, yedhu, Sachin, biju, kannan, maneesh, Joel & harikrishnan was appreciable. Special kudos to chef abilash. Food was gud. It wil be nice if u could add some more veg.dishes. Special thanks to boat driver asokan chettan. He was so caring. The only concern we felt was in the maintenance. There is difference in Google photos and original. They could give attention in its maintenance and also in its landscape. If so the property wil be more attractive. Anyhow its really gud for a day out program.

Hello all! Visited this resort by watching a forwarded video. Reservation was easy, Assisted by Mr. Sybil. 70% payment completed. They shared the location to reach the place. After arrival called for the boat to transfer to resort. Boat driver Mr. Ashokan safety is important wear your life jacket. On arrival welcome drink provided and remaining 30% payment completed. Assisted by staff Ms. Jisha, We looked around and were not so happy because place requires more maintenance, Room was lake facing with amenities (towel, dental kit, moisturiser and shampoo) but no body wash*. Kids play area and pool side beds can be maintained and more attention. They asked us in advance for lunch which was amazingly prepared by chef (Mr. Manish). Served with smile by staff (Yedhu and krishna kumar) We utilized the pool and it was about 4feet deep.later evening beverage with snacks. And awesome dinner and day of check out nice breakfast.
Congrats to the staff as they are very friendly!

Best place in Kerala. They have a resort on the island. Theyprovide a boat facility for pick and drop and also they provide free boating inthe lake. The staffs are nice and sweet. The food is amazing. It is providingservices worth more than the money paid. Everyone is really sweet and makes sure tomake your stay memorable. The property is very good and has an amazing view. The place is very calm and quiet. Must visit the place. Regretted not coming here soon.

Poorly Maintained Resort.

I recently booked a resort as a venue for a business meeting, expecting a professional and conducive environment. However, my experience at this resort left much to be desired and was far from suitable for a business setting.

The quality of the food provided was below average, lacking in taste and variety. The dining experience was marred by slow service, disinterested staff, and a lack of attentiveness to the guests' needs. It was apparent that the staff was not well-trained or motivated, which greatly affected the overall experience.

Overall level of service throughout the resort was subpar. Requests for assistance were met with apathy and indifference from the staff, creating a sense of frustration. It seemed as though the management had not prioritized customer satisfaction, as evident from the lack of attention to detail and the overall disorganized approach to guest services.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this resort to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The low maintenance of the property, coupled with poor food quality and lackluster service, significantly detracted from the overall experience. I would advise potential visitors to explore other options that offer better value for their money and prioritize customer satisfaction.

Recommended resort. All the facilities were good and satisfied. Food was very good and tasty. Staffs were very friendly and cooperative. Please visit the GRAND AYUR ISLAND Resort.

We went for a day stay and Grand Ayur dint disappoint us. Just 5 min water ride to the island. Have enough play area for kids, have badminton and sports balls with indoor games like Chess, carroms and ludo. The place is quite enough to accommodate 30 to 40 people.

Rooms were good enuf but can maintained better. All rooms are facing Vembanad Lake and views are beautiful.

Pool is spacious and are 4 feet deep. Resort have marry go round, slide and many swings. Traditional fishing sticks too.

Dinner had lots of varieties which are lots for a family and wastage is sure due to this. If that can be changed then it would be good.

Staffs are friendly especially Ajith, Resort Manager and others. My room was changed as the room door were not locking and they dint hesitate to change.

All together a pleasant stay.

But restrain kids from drinking water from pool as my kid got sick.

Visited for a 2 night stay with family. Decent rooms by lakeside, food was delivered promptly and to our preparation requirements. Limited outdoor sport possible. A large badminton court and a basket to shoot. Boat ride was pleasant. Ajith the care-taker helped with our needs. Good place for a quiet stay.

Resort is not maintained, the website and actual has a huge difference. But staff are really good, food is also good

It was really a comfortable stay, host Ajith is really caring person and all staff are friendly.who arranged everything on the timely basis and understand the requirements of us, Room was spacious and it will be comfortable for 3 people. View from the room was really pleasent.

Don't go with paid promoters and paid vloggers opinion and ratings.
We a group of 13 people prebooked for a dayout program last saturday and charged 1770 plus gst per person via prebooking. They offered buffet lunch with 3 non veg.but they served 2 chicken dish and one fish curry (Not sure Tuna or Kera). When asked them to refill the dishes, but they are not ready to refill the dishes.they filled the paneer dish at the time of desserts. They charged Rs 609 for bottle water and 3 small sprite/Pepsi we had with lunch. Restaurent AC is not proper its very difficult to sit in restaurent in lunch time. There is no authentic kerala snacks with tea at 4 Pm.they served lunch balance fried salads dipped with maida with tea instead of "pazhampori".
The resort is in an island that is the only highlight with boat access only.
The boat driver (SRANK) is good person and he knows about the waterbodies depth and nature in wind and waves.
There is only 4 feet depth pool and 1 hour boat ride (Outboard engine Vallam) and small self riding VALLAM /Pedal boats All other outdoor activities are not available bcose a group of 100 more people already using all facilties. They offered 2 rooms, 1 for gents and 1 for ladies but when we reach they gave dress changing rooms to us añd first aid or consultation room to keep our bags and all.
We expect more from an 3star island resort.but felt like no star.

Very nice & beautiful place … the food is also good… feels very good and relaxing …we can enjoy the peaceful ambiance on the privateisland and enjoy a lot of these places with my family… It was a good experience on the island, good ambiance. The hospitality of the staff is very good and they support us with all our requirements. Feel that it is worth a try. It was really very nice to stay. The resort has all amenities. Very cooperative staff. The rooms are neat and clean. They also provide in-house activities like boating, fishing, pedal boating, etc. If anyone is interested stayaway from city life this place would be the best option.  I wish again came soon.

Amenities for play and recreation is present in the property. Suitable for stay upto 2 nights. Very homely dining experience with good choice of Breakfast and Dinner options. Polite and well behaved staff. Clean pool with a beautiful view. Ajith was helpful with everything to make our stay pleasant.

I went with my colleagues for a day tour, but i shld say tht the premises is really pathetic. Firstly there was no one to control the parking facility. We had to wait for the boat for more than 45mts. After reaching the resort no one was there to provide any chairs or any facilities. The AC at the restaurant is not working properly and they faced real delay in refilling the items on the table (buffet). Food was also below average. And there were plastic bottles thrown everywhere.

Especially lake view rooms are awesome, Food was excellent, Staff Ajit and his team were friendly and provided excellent services, would recommend for family vacation.

The first and foremost thing that I have to add is regarding their availability. They were all available round the clock. It might be because of the fact that it's an island and we were the only residents there.

Great getaway, off the beaten track but staff make it accessible by arranging anything you want. Simple honest hospitality with super food and super friendly staff. Perfection.

The food was really great. The pool was a bit small and also the area. It would have been a great trip if the area was really spacious.

The place is not well maintained. The ambiance, food and amenities are not justifiable for the price charged. A group of 28 people for a day costed around 60K and there was not even a Kuttanad special Karimeen for the lunch. Really disappointed.
