Very lucky! We booked online r we were lucky. Large and very clean room. Excellent location close to major tekkadi activities and away from traffic. Super recommended.

Best place to stay.it's in prime location very close to periyar tiger reserve and elephant camp.property has nice landscape. Kerala style cottages.tasty homemade breakfast.owner is very accomodating and responds very quick

Food is very dangerous they are giving. We got food poision, me and my wife, and we were in hospital after that. Don't try that ever. Place and the ambiance was excellent. But the room i got was full of dust and Tv was not working, no kettle and towel. Care taker he was plesent and helpfull. The problem was not solved.

I recently stayed at this property with my family. Place is very clean, rooms are spacious and overall our stay was very comfortable. Loved the morning breakfast and the owner is a very nice and friendly person. He guided us well.

Beautiful cottage style homestay surrounded by greenery. Spacious, comfortable rooms with large balconies. Excellent breakfast. The owner is a great host and can arrange local sightseeing, safaris etc on demand. The service by the staff is on point. The location is close to both the town centre and the Periyar National park checkpost. Look no further for a memorable stay in Thekkady.

Rooms are well maintained and clean. But complimentary breakfast is a scam. Location is near Thekkady boating booking center.

-> Kumily local market 400m from cottage were you can spices & other traditional items.

A special mention to the very friendly and caring cottage owner Mr. Joseph who makes sure that the tourists are comfortable. He also guided us with lots of insights and places to visit in thekkady.

An extra special mention to the homely food, which was timely, delicious and personalised according to our taste. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

The overall standard of the cottage and the exceptional service provided by Mr. Joseph and the staffs was second to none.

I will certainly be staying here again!

This property is located right in front of the parking area of Periyer national park. Kumily bus stop is just 800 meters away. The property is well maintained. Mr. Joseph manages the property well.

Beautiful property. Owner of the property is very helpful. Near to the periyar ticket counter, elephant park and located at the centre. Highly recommended.

This is not only an information for tourist but this is authentic evaluation for acknowledgement for tourist guides also.

That means openion of all is included along with impartial analysis.

1. Tourist guide should not depend on the because they will not provide food in quantity.
2. There is no hot water for bath.
3. In case of any complaints starts fighting in rude and criminal words.

In case of disputes due to poor performance he threatens guests that he will see how you go out of this area.
"This is a criminals language you cannot expect in hospitality industry! "

One of the best cottages in Thekkady. The place and the surroundings were very calm and peaceful. They make home made food for the guests and the hospitality you'll get from Mr. Joseph will be heart warming. The main advantage is, the cottage located just a walkable distance from the boating ticket counter.

Very calm place - good for family, economical and at a good location. Owner is very approachable and is always available.

Great accommodation for the price. Owner has really maintained the property very well and is available all time at constant beck and call. A real family friendly place. Biggest advantage is that the cottage is at a walkable distance from the boating ticket counter, which make it easier for us to make it to the earliest boating slot. Breakfast was very good as it was home cooked. For lunch and dinner we have to hit the town which is also very close. Overall very serene and calm stay amidst the gardens.

Stay was amazing and peaceful. Price was very affordable, quality of rooms were extremely good. Management and staffs were very friendly and helpful. A must try accommodation in Thekkady/kumily for family.

Suggestions: Apart from complimentary breakfast, it would be great if they can prepare lunch/dinner also.

Food at Tuskers Cafe next to the cottage was really tasty.

Cottage is clean with wooden doors and windows hence its pleasant in all weathers, staff is helpful and its walking distance to the Periyar tiger reserve and other sightseeing places in thekkady.

Seriously we had a wonderful experience in ur place, we loved ur hospitality.

It was a good experience &really amazing cottage to stay, good at service, clean and furnished room, whatever may be the timing the owner gave facility for hot water service, the maid received very polite and kind, the owner Mr. Joseph a kind person. He has shown concerned in the tourist because he engaged us to visit every site and the state ritual pprogrammes like kadakali&kalari. Whoever may like to visit thekathekadi, kumli

Great Stay! So much comfortable amenities! Very close by to Thekkady Boat Landing KTDC Bus Boarding Point

Location and infrastructuur is best bt nobody is there in reception only one men handling whole resort. Service is very slow.for cup of milk for my baby in early morning I need to go to myself to owner house behind resort n even after I can't get it. Service is nt much gud to lack of staff

Awesome place to spend the holidays. Rooms are very neat and clean. Owner is very polite and serves well. There are small restaurants nearby so food doesn't matter. They provide very tasty and healthy breakfast.

Well this cottage living was cool. There is no other word for it. Only breakfast served here which is OK if not good. Service here too is good.
