I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at what was supposed to be a resort, but felt more like a private home stay gone horribly wrong. This establishment cannot even be compared to a two-star hotel, let alone a respectable resort. From the bizarre behavior of the staff to their questionable guest handling methodology, every aspect of my stay was plagued with inconveniences.

First and foremost, the wake-up call system was nothing short of absurd. Instead of utilizing a standard intercom or any modern communication method, the staff resorted to using big drums to rouse the guests from their slumber. Needless to say, this approach was not only unconventional but also incredibly disruptive. It left me wondering if I had accidentally stumbled into a time warp back to ancient times.

The lack of professionalism and proper hospitality was evident throughout my stay. The staff members displayed peculiar behavior that was completely unbecoming of a hospitality establishment. Their interactions with guests were not only odd but also left much to be desired. It seemed as if they had no concept of how to handle guests' needs or provide a satisfactory level of service.

Moreover, the amenities provided were subpar, to say the least. The room I was assigned to was poorly maintained and showed signs of neglect. It was evident that the management had not invested any effort in ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay for their guests. The overall cleanliness left much to be desired, with dirty linens and a lack of attention to detail in terms of cleanliness standards.

On top of all these inconveniences, the resort failed to live up to even the most basic expectations of a two-star hotel. The facilities were dated and worn out, and the overall ambiance was far from inviting. It seemed as though the establishment had been forgotten in time, with no updates or renovations in years.

In conclusion, my experience at this supposed resort was a complete disaster. I strongly advise against staying here if you value your comfort and expect even a modicum of professionalism. The inconveniences I faced, from the archaic wake-up call system to the peculiar behavior of the staff, made my stay an unpleasant and regrettable one. Save yourself the trouble and seek accommodation elsewhere.

The place near vagamon meadows. Cottages are built properly and seems very comfortable. But hospitality is very poor. The staff their are not properly able to handle the guests. Not at all organized. Foods are pathetic and highly priced. Rooms are not that much neat and clean. And the beds are of poor quality. The blankets and bedsheets are of low quality and hard to trust it for personal use

Customer service was very poor and also the food availability was not so good as quantity was less and not good for taste as for the cost given. Ambience was good to watch and rooms were okay

Two BHK cottage is spacious and well maintained. Tasty Breakfast, lunch, Tea and dinner available. Good service and cooperative staffs.
The premise has located in good location and all the sight seeing points are in and around three kilometers.

If you want budget friendly we'll maintained cottage you can definitely try this.

Nice place and good ambiance. Hotel management need to check with the amenities inside rooms once in a while. Guests will not feel worth the price they shell out. The food they serve is homely and economical.

Trust me when I tell you this, the food was absolutely amazing and the rate of the food was fair. The room service and the room was OK.
A fault that I saw was water, the water was cold as ice, we couldn't bare that much cold

One of the worst resort. It looks good on out side. But worst at inside. Rooms are not well maintained … we got cigar smell once enter the room. Bed sheets and blankets looks very old.regarding the food it’s utter waste … kitchen is not hygienic. If you visit with family avoid this place

Not stayed. Went directly for stay enquiry. Rooms are just ok. Not worth for money. Staffs are not friendly. Look like they don't want us to stay there. Rooms not maintained properly. Not recommended.

A very good place to stay with family. Awesome location indeed. Food, though limited spread was also very good. They are my primary option when i go Vagamon.

Poor room service. Glasses in the room where untidy. Sheets stinks. No towels provided. Cup in the toilet were broken. Shower was not proper. Food ordered was burned and over price. I will not recommend this residence for any class of customers.

Ridiculously overpriced for the service that they provide. We conducted an event here with almost 75 people. The food was disappointing the rooms were just okeyish and the worst thing here is the service.there was no towel, no soap or any amenities in any rooms. Not even a bottle of water was provided in any of the rooms and we had to pay a whopping price of ₹1700 per head. And had to accomodate more than 3 people in a room.

I’d never recommend this place to anyone. One of the worst resort experiences of my life!

Such a terrible experience!

We a group of bike riders decided to conduct our All Kerala meetup in this place. It was promised that they have enough rooms to accomodate 100-200 people, and the buffet will be a high class one with more than 3 non veg items etc. But when visited the place, first of all, it doesn't have enough space to accomodate 100, forget 100, we were 75 people, that also was really tight. In some rooms, more than 8 people stayed. They only have 2 or 3 luxury villas and rest all are normal rooms. The quality is really bad, most of the plug points were not working. And regarding the food, it was a disaster. We just got normal rice, fish curry and some side dishes in the lunch. Fried rice, chapathi, chicken curry, veg curry for the dinner. No fries, no beef, no salad, no other desert items also. Remember this was the high class buffet that they promised. Next day breakfast also was a disaster - just Chapathi, Poori, masala curry and kadala curry. Thats it. Forgot to mention about that campfire that night. They have arranged campfire well, but songs should not be changed. The service boys were saying that, if we change the song before it finish, owner will scold them. I don't understand at all, what logic is this. And the room service was the main pain point. It was really pathetic. No water supplied, no towels or bed sheets for all. If we are asking something to the care taker there (I hope he is the owner too), he will behave like we were some Abhayarthis who live there free of cost. No customer concern at all. "Venamenkil thinnitu pode" attitude.

This is not over, here comes the main part - for getting all these high class services, we had to pay a whopping Rs. 1700/- per head, where as the stay and food is not even worth Rs. 1000/-. So I strongly recommend not to choose this resort for your holidays, seeing the cover pics and all. It is highly overpriced and the customer service is really bad. If atleast the price per head was below Rs. 1000, may be this can be considered, but still the customer service was really bad and food menu was really limited and just normal.

Disgusting washrooms and soroundings.rough and tough communication from staffs.fan has no regulator.toilet flush has no flush button.bed is full of dust and used linens.
And don't expect any response from any staff if u have any concerns.

Looking superb from exterior but.once u enter u will regret. Looks like maintenance isn't happening.none of the toilets have a working exhaust fan.

It is decent hotel with great views. The location deserves five star. We booked 4 double rooms. We got rooms with a common dining area which had two big Sofa's for seating, a dininig table and chairs. This arrangement is ideal for big families and friends traveling together. The rooms were decent but not good enough for the price. They have cottages but didn't get a chance to see inside one. It is very near to Vagamon Meadows which is an added advantage and they have good parking space too. What is utterly disappointing is food and the price they are charging for it. Otherwise I would have given 4 star.

The location of the resort is near to the Wagon Meadows. The views from the resort is awesome. The rooms are decent. Parking space available. The food is average and costly.

Very nice place to stay as a group with friends and family. It has 2 bed room cottages and few 4 BH setup. The place is far away from vagamon town, so it will be difficult without own vehicle. But it provides a great view. You can walk to the meadows where you can get snacks/tea and jeep for sight seeing. A night walk to the meadows with mist covering the place is an awesome experience.
They also provide food at this place based on order. The food is average, but good to have one or two times.

One of the best and resorts in vagamon. Rooms are located in well planned manner where we can enjoy the nature. You can have a clear view or Thangalpara from here. Well spaced parking is also available. You can order your food here they will prepare and deliver it to your room. Attached our food bill for your reference. The only concern is mobile signal. Anyway you can utilise the WiFi in reception.
