Green pepper Home Stay

The owner was a very helping guy Mr Ram.he helped us with everything. He was very much helpful in providing cooking services and rooms very very clean and nit. Little bit advice, bathroom were smelling which needs improvement. (We didn't raised this issue with Mr Ram as we were tired) Rest everything was awesome and beautiful view there. Mr Ram very nice guy.

Must visit home stay for munnar. We went in a group of 7 members. The place has 3 big rooms with clean and big washroom, dinning space, sitting area, kitchen. The care taker is also very helpful and always available for support. Best place to relax and spend quality time with your family and friends.

A comfortable and nice place, the service is also very satisfying, and I feel this place is good enough for us to stop by, the price is very suitable for us.if you go to India and place a very beautiful view, Don't forget to visit Kerala India and don't forget if you want to rest, stop by at Green Pepper Homestay. Very nice lodging.

I had a very pleasant stay at Green Pepper, it was a good base to explore the tea estates and to do a good long hike along the ridge. Ram was a thoughtful and kind host.

Neat and clean. Food is supplied if ordered well in advance. Had tea and breakfast only. Food is homely and cheap. Satisfied.

Green pepper home stay located in the route to Munnar is very clean, well maintained home stay with a serene beautiful view. My female colleague did a solo trip here and she loved the place, it is very safe and well maintained. The home stay person, Mr Ram was very helpful with everything, right from arranging home food for lunch, breakfast and even morning tea/coffee which was too good. The room was clean and well maintained, there is power backup - due to rains, power backup helped. Mr Ram helped with hot water issue and also helped with arranging cab for sight-seeing. Mr Ram helped with sight seeing, his family friend Mr Paul was on time and very polite and understanding - he drove carefully, stopped for clicking pics, took around the places well, stopped for shopping/lunch etc. Mr Ram was very helpful with checkout and also assisted with commute and travel (be it going to Thekkady or coming to the place from airport). He helped with everything and made the stay a very pleasant and enjoying one. Will recommend this place to every person visiting Munnar. Love the place.

If it come to food sometimes they might provide and sometimes won't. But the best thing is on the right side road of the room within 400metters shop's are available & on the left side road almost 1km all kind of shop's are available. Also the: ("Temple, Masjid, Church") all three are placed next to next looks so beautiful and devotional.

Next to the room's Jungle Jeep Safari is Available.

I booked for the agreement to pay during checkin through Agoda. Property owner charging additional money and asking to pay in offline mode in advance. I lost trust and cancelled my booking.

. Whether we like it or not, we all come from someplace. And at some point in our lives, we have to make peace with that place.

Green Pepper Homestay is a little gem of a place, tucked away amidst nearby tea plantations, lakes and mountains.

It consists of four large double bedrooms, all with en-suite and hot water showers. These are situated around a communal lounge (or dining room if you like). They provide home cooked breakfast and WiFi (included in the room prices) and can provide home cooked dinner at an additional charge. We had dinner there pretty much every night (average was about Rs. 450 for two people).

Clean and comfortable, these would suit families and couples just as much as individual travellers. We (couple) ended up staying for 4 nights and were greeted by warmth and great hospitality, with a can-do attitude. No request was too much for this team of brothers.

They also provide a guided trek in the area, visiting tea plantations and climbing a nearby mountain (Rs. 1,500 for the guide, plus some extra for bus/tuk tuk). It’s a 4.5hrs trek, totally worth doing.

We will be staying here again when we’re in the area and I’m happy to recommend this place.

It's a nice place to stay. A bit far away from the center of Munnar, but there's a bus 600meters from the homestay. The prices are good. The room and the private toilet were clean. The staff is nice and helpful.
