Very very crowded in weekends. Road to beach is very narrow and people parks their vehicle both side which leads to traffic jam. Good place to watch sunset.
No shelter at all. Shop guys are looting public money at double the price. Boat syndicated teams are tie up with floating restaurant people. Even a normal lemon juice they charged Rs. 100/= just imagine their business ethics. Dont go these restaurant as my pics attachment
Kovalam beach has its pristine green colored waters, rock beds and the wonderful terrain which made the location an international site. You will get the best when you visit in the evening instead of morning for the sun sets into the sea.
Grove beach is a coastal area where land meets the sea or ocean, characterized by the presence of sandy shores, waves, and a distinctive maritime environment. Beaches are diverse in their features, ranging from long stretches of golden sands to rocky coastlines, each offering a unique coastal experience.
The soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore and the gentle breeze make beaches popular destinations for relaxation and recreation. They attract visitors seeking a serene escape, whether it's for sunbathing, beachcombing, or enjoying water activities such as swimming and surfing.
Sunsets at the beach create breathtaking panoramas, painting the sky with vibrant hues of orange, pink, and purple. Coastal ecosystems thrive along beaches, fostering a rich biodiversity with unique flora and fauna adapted to the saline environment.
Beaches often serve as hubs for cultural and recreational activities, hosting events, festivals, and water sports. Whether it's the lively atmosphere of bustling boardwalks or the tranquility of secluded coves, beaches hold a timeless allure, inviting people to connect with the beauty of the sea and the tranquility of the coastal landscape.
Kovalam Beach in Trivandrum, Kerala, is a slice of paradise that combines natural beauty, water sports, delectable cuisine, and cultural activities. It's a great place for both leisure and adventure, and I definitely recommend it to anyone searching for a relaxing and revitalizing beach vacation in India.
Kovalam is more than just a beach destination; it also provides possibilities for cultural exploration. The Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, which displays a variety of marine life, and the Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you may go on nature walks and view wildlife in their natural habitat, are both local attractions.
Definitely a very enjoyable location for kids and adults. Tides are very rough though. There are speed boating options ranging from 10min till 30mins. It may be worth for those who like adventures.
