I recently dined at Halais Hotel and, unfortunately, found the cost of the food to be quite high. While the ambiance and service were commendable, the prices for the menu items were disproportionately expensive.
I understand that dining at a hotel often comes with a premium, but in the case of Halais, the high costs of the food left me with a sense of disappointment. It's important for such establishments to strike a balance between quality and affordability to cater to a wider range of customers.
I hope that Halais Hotel considers reevaluating its pricing structure to make their dining experience more accessible to a broader audience, as this would greatly enhance the overall dining experience for their patrons.
The renovated Halais has changed entirely from it's dull, mundane appearance to a vibrant, clean and much attractive place. Food taste is also good. They now have more options of sweets, snacks and with the additional Juice and Tea counter, it's a one stop place to eat or drink outside for people living near Karyavattom and Pangappara. On a glimpse, the inside has also changed and has become much more bright and pleasant.
I have often visited its branch in kazhakootam.foon, services and ambience is good.captains customer handling was good.he was a good knowledge about food and menu cards and very friendly minded person
Had porotta and beef pepper roast today. Its so delicious. Quality food. Calm and neat atmosphere. Food delivered with love. Customer service is fabulous. Recommend this hotel for sure. Outside seating is also available.there is a small tea shop out there. Parking space is available. Shop located near pangapara bridge, National highway side. Mutton items are famous here.
Located in pangappara, near karyavatoom. It is an average restaurent. Food is fine, with fair space for groups and price is affordable. If you are planning to swiggy from the hotel, i would recommend you trying chocolate sundae.
Restaurant located in pangaparra towards karyavattom.best point for arabic traditional non veg dishes.most of the evening times is crowdy try to reserve before come to hote.very tasty and affordable price
Had ordered Middle east meal treat for 1 through ubereats (Order ID 1B799) and the pepsi they'd sent was 6 years old. A product which only has a shelf life of 3 months and these people dispatched one which expired 6 years ago. Serious health risk and highly irresponsible.
I have often visited its branch in Kazhakoottam. And when I visited this branch I was quite sure that I wouldn't be disappointed. And I was right. Great food, healthy and clean. Tidy place. The service was good. Fine place for family.
Too bad service now a days. For 3 wheat porota and chicken curry they made me to wait for 45 minutes for take away.similar complaints heard from other customers too.
Food, services and ambience is good. But price is too much. They are adding gst into the price even though their price is already higher than other hotel's.
Its easy to spot despite being in a turning, food is good, but lighting is little inadequate. Quality is same as their other franchises. Don't have enough parking space.
Chicken biriyani was good, but with basmati rice. Now a days many restaurants serving biriyani with kaima rice and that is more delicious than basmati. Quantity is more than enough for a hungry person. Good ambience and service
Best place for your gang eat out, less crowded, each single serving of a dish is enough for 3. Moderately priced, taste is good. Neat place, food handling is clean, the staff are friendly. Only road side parking is available, 4/5 maximum. The refreshments and ice cream are very good, should try the chocolate dad and passion fruit crusher.
My family had the worst food poisoning from this restaurant. God knows how they can sell stale food to customers. I surely believe they don’t adulterate the food at their homes, then why selling such food to other families. We also have kids and family like them. My kid is unable to eat from 1 week due to burn on her tongue. We even started loving our toilets. Pathetic! By the way, this happened with a swiggy order from them so that they can sell all the stale food!
Good ambience. On the highway, easily accessible. Has enough parking space nearby. Food wise average. Non veg items are good, and decently priced. Veg items are average/below average. If you are going for their main non veg items, worth it.
The kuzhimanthi which this place is supposed to be known for was average. The service was very good and ambience and cleanliness was upto the mark. One star less for the average dish and lack of a proper washroom.
Pretty good place to satisfy your food cravings) Loved all the non-veg dishes and their vegetarian options are great in taste too. I don't think twice when it comes to Halais anymore)
First of all the service was pretty lousy. The waiter had no intention of serving and was getting confused with our order. Second, we ordered Porotta and Mutton Rogan Josh. The dish was bathing in oil, had large bones rather than mutton and tasted bland. For 280 rupees per plate, the dish was total waste of money. So verdict, just stick with the Arabian dishes or tandoori stuff at halais. Don't go trying any unique dish, else you will be in for a surprise!
The biryani is really tasty.the beef curries have soft succulent meat, the mutton fried rice is my personal favourite! Plus so many other options available here. That's why it's always crowded
The shop is on the NH side. This is there 4th restuarant. Food is good and has wide variety. Taste is ok. The price is on the high side. The restuarant is neat and clean. Staffs are pleasant and helpful. Parking space is less but can park on the NH side.
Used to visit this place usually for their Chicken verieties. People says their Biriyani is the best. But I can assure you that their arabian chicken varieties are the best.
It's located few kilometres from Techno Park campus Trivandrum, need to take the road towards SreeKaariyam. I just noticed the popular Kuzhimanthi rarely seen in South Kerala and familiar in Northern Kerala. Hence tried it, rice, sauce, mayoinse and chicken piece are provided seperately. We will have to mix and eat. It's good! Everyone can try this once.
Ordered via Uber eats. Order no#OF658 Ordered for veg fried rice and got schezwan veg fried rice instead. Also, their chapati was tearing apart, didn't feel like it's fresh. Unhappy with this order
