They have everything except cleanliness.
As it is very close to Varkala there is chance that foreigners and domestic travellers will visit to experience kerala toddy.
But they are far behind in cleanliness and maintenance. When people are going ahead with time and changing toddy parlour looks according to taste of customers they are still living in 60s.
Dusty tables, unclean curtains, leaking roofs, smelly areas etc.
But food is exceptional, spicy and very tasty.

Will not prefer to go by night time because you will not get fresh food. Best on day time.

The side dishes like Beef fry, fish fry, fish head were delicious especially Liver was awesome. However they need to improve the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place. They have two varieties of Toddy so buy both and taste then choose the one you like. Located in slightly interior

Very good food, portions are huge order carefully. We tried all kinds of sea food along with duck roast and pork all were good. The fish thala curry was not cooked well and was raw. The toddy is the best I've tried along similar places. Don't expect a great ambiance for a family lunch, but this is fine if you are going out with friends.

We visited yesterday first location is ok their service and behaviour was very poor, we ordered toddy Kappa thalakkari, njandu roast appam, all itema beere prepared by morning they served us in the afternoon.if you go with family there is no wash room.service chettan was not friendly.

Good food, was extra spicy (as it serves a particular purpose) and tasty with good quality. The price felt like it was on the higher side. The ambience was nice and there were families with kids coming to dine. There are separate hut areas for dining and a common area for food or toddy consumption. We ordered rabbit roast, pork roast and squid (kanava) fry with appam and kappa. Service was good and well behaved. There is ample space between huts and other dining areas for people to have enough privacy. I don't know more about the toddy there as I went there to have food. Overall I liked the parlor and the ambience. Would recommend trying the dishes there.

Service is very bad.just like they give their money to coustomer for food.very bad to come here.just poor service.dont recommend ‍

They add to much chilly purposely,
They forget the purpose of serving food.
They should realize and understand coustomer wants to enjoy the taste of food. Not the chilly powder.

A toddy shop with lots of spicy foods. Ambience is not the greatest and service is just poor! The fish and seafood items are tasty. The waiter (the bald guy) is not a pleasant person to deal with. Customer satisfaction is not their cup of tea. Go at your own risk.

Staff was not friendly. (a bald guy) ambiance was good. All starters flavors were good and the taste of toddy was also good. I also had beef roast there, the flavor was good but the meat was not cooked properly.

Took parcel from there and reached home to have it while having it we found a fishing hook? Beware of this type of food

One of the best place near varkala to have a toddy! This place makes the best fish fry, mutyon n chicken starters! And the hospitality is also very good

The food was excellent.but, the bald guy was not taking order properly.we ordered prawns, he said it was semi gravy but it came out to be a deep fry.

It used to be a good food spot. Now it's just a business. I don't know if it's because they couldn't find a person to stand for the service or because of the difficulty of paying money. Not very clean. Better not to go as a family. Talking about the food some items are good but the place is very bad. (Remembering that it used to be better than this).

Tody was excellent at Haritha. I wudnt say food was excellent as it has room for improvement,

On weekends if you need a hut please book and go. The surrounding atmosphere is good. A litre of toddy costs Rs 200 and the quality is ok. The food is also ok and they have nadan chicken, beef, kakka, fish (small fishes not available)

I wanted to give minus 10 Star for this place but sadly no option. Food tasted really very bad. When asked about this a bald man who was working there, he did not respond properly. He didn't even take our orders properly. So kindly avoid this place.

Kallu was really good, as was the food.
It was the only kallu shop in the entire place. The owner was really friendly. I wish they had many food recipes.

Chicken was very bad sue to some reason. (It was not tasting like chicken) todi was good. Prawns were good

Have private room/hut experience. Nice service. The food was way better from the ones that in trivandrum. Comparatively cheaper dishes. Youll get toddy in earthpots.

Good place to hangout. Crab and duck roast were awesome and the best that i tried till now. Fish was not as much that great.seems they serve good toddy too. Good service and they serve organic food. Harder to reach the place. But will be worth going there.
