Bad customer service. We called them for several time for conducting our onam function. They didn't give appropriate information regarding the package and availability. Pathetic experience

A great place to relax with family. With pool and good food, this should be ideal for your weekend. They have seven rooms only, so if you can book the entire thing, it will be absolute fun with total privacy. There might be a couple of visitors to the restaurant, though.

We had a pleasant experience nice and calm view, food was average, pool was clean and view near pool was also beautiful. Rooms are pretty small but has all the amenities. Overall neat experience its like 4/5

Cool ambience. Banks of the river. A hotel with traditional outfit. A calm and quiet place. Perfect place for getaway. Lawn has a superb view of river and Chinese nets. Sunset from this lawn is a feat for the eyes. Food and beverages are average. Price is not that economic. If you are looking for a place which far from madding crowd, please be their guest.

A good place for visit with a lower budget and a piece place for married people's and friends to enjoy good also normal cost every one should visit their

I stayed here for a night with my family. Plus points are the view and the property itself. Food was average. Service was excellent. One issue which has to be addressed - mosquitoes.

Great service, the place felt very homely and sophisticated. Special mention for the wonderful food, we enjoyed local Keralite dishes like Parotta, Puttu, etc. The pool is quite small so I didn't use it. The location-Kumbalangi, is 15 mins away from Kochi, quite peaceful and accessible. Overall, great stay, thank you for the experience!

Cannt call this a resort. Its just a hotel. There is nothing much apart from the building which has rooms & restaurant, a small outdoor dining area and a very shallow pool. The room has just enough space for two people. The vintage look and feel were good. Bed sheet and curtains in bathroom were not clean.

They had very few items available at the restaurant and food was okay, nothing great.

Place is very calm and quiet. The rooms are very small but has all the amenities. Staff over there are very helpful and pleasant except for the one guy sitting in the reception.
They have got a nice garden like setup with backwater view and in the evening with all the lights on it gives a nice ambience.

Very bad service.
The pool was not cleaned well.
Had to wait for 5.30 Hours to clean the pool and yet the pool was not cleaned properly.
Had to cancel the booking.
Poor service and Bad experience overall.

The only food they serve is fried rice, porotta and curry. Poor service, very poor food. Just the ambience is good and the view.

It may be a 3-star resort some years back. However, right now, it’s a poorly maintained, high cost, dirty place with pathetic service. There were a lot of incidents that made our time there the worst experience. The pool was not at all clean, the color of the water was green. The room was not well cleaned, there was dust on the bed and floor, dead flies in the kettle, dirt in the towels, etc. We also had the worst dinner with rubberish parathas, poor beef fry, fried rice, chicken curry, fish fry, etc.

The place is awesome and budget friendly. Rooms are small, just enough for 2, but the wooden design and make feels great! The pool is of 4ft depth, so it's good for kids to play around and adults to stay afloat.

The only thing it lacked was bit more privacy. The area surrounding it is bit crowded, and many times you get a clean view to pool from road and public outside.

The condition of this resort is very pathetic. The room was not clean. I found a dead mosquito inside the kettle. The pool was not clean. The food and service was really bad. We just wasted our time and money. I don't know why this hotel has these much positive reviews. That all may be fake.

A nice place to hangout with friends/ family. Their service needs improvement and the area can surely come up, if there's an architect to it.

Beautiful property in kumbangi with a heritage building. Ideal for family get together. The vantage location gives a scenic view of the backwaters.

Can't call it as a resort, it's a kind of hotel with a pool. Staffs are really friendly and they are serving very well. If you are arranging any functions there make sure about the rate they had agreed. We arranged a function here and the bill was bit more from what they had agreed initially. A BAR is also available near to this, even though it's just a below 3 star one [ Facilities and how it maintained ].

The place is not as beautiful as is depicted in photos and the lake view they boast s not worth. Normal room, bathrooms are tidy. Not much as ambience we expect. Food taste average. And worst of all complimentary breakfast serves iddli and dosa. I jave never seen a 3 star hotel complimentary bf with this much minimal options. There is not an omlette otlr brrad in case one doesnt lik iddli dosa.
Disappointed. Never gonna visist again.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful heritage home. Nice hospitality too. Would definitely recommend this place!

Good Ambience. Food was good. Only thing is that surrounding the pool you should have given more importance like fencing. Since childrens & older people will fall in to the pool, when it is dark. Yesterday that is on 13 th February 2021 reception one of my relative fall into the pool. Luckily & by the grace of god nothing seriously happened. Hope you will do the needful.

The view from here is spectacular. But the quality of foods varies. I had both pleasant and worse experience from there. One day the food was very good but another day it was the worst.

The day before they had some function at the venue. We checked in for lunch, but there was t much food options available. Pool wasn't clean. Lawn chair and tables werent clean from the function day before. Rooms were well maintained. Overall below expectations

Beautiful place with good ambience as well as a good mannered staff. Food was delicious and the rates are affordable. Overall a must visit if you are nearby. Kids will love it too

Nice small resort in Kumbalangi Tourist Village- an old traditional residences converted to a homestay. Nice location, good food, courteous staff.

Two days before I had dinner there. And it was the best moment️ that I ever had! The server was so attentive to serve food. The quantity is worth enough for the money. It was an excellent place to spend with our family.

I attended a party arranged here and well it was great. The area is so soothing and calm.they have an open lawn leading out to a beautiful view of Chinese fishing nets and and a beautiful sunset.
The inner areas are that which really brings out the idea of heritage in to reality. The structures are natural and so good looking. The rooms are clean and different with all the necessary amenities. The food they served was also really great. The accessibility of the place might be a bit troublesome, but a good place to organize a private function.

Character and atmosphere here are beyond words.its has water front area, lawn, swimming pool and there is an AC/ NON AC Bar attached to the hotel.at night it make the area more spectacular with the lighting's.the cool breeze at evening and night time makes the day enough.chines fishing nets are abundant in the view.

Friendly mid-range hotel with a lovely family atmosphere and a very good restaurant. The Bazaar Street front is unprepossessing, but the jetty on the waterfront is a wonderful dining space.

You can enjoy the real taste of Kumbalangi karimeen paaal curry, kakkanad theeyal will take you on a matchless flavour treat, melt in mouth classics like grilled fish with fresh lime butter and chicken sizzler with green veggies make you want more.

Great place for a get away. The resort has 7 rooms adjacent to Chinese Fishing Nets. An ideal place to spend the weekend with the family. Good restaurant.

Excellent location to host parties and other functions. The road leading to this resort and the resort itself is completely covered under shades of trees. The resort looks like it’s made like both as a museum and modern kerala kettu type structure. With ample parking and a cleanly maintained swimming pool beside the backwaters do add to it’s beauty. An overall good experience. We were invited to the baptism reception of one of our relative. The food and drinks were arranged from outside. I am not sure whether the resort hosts food for parties.

I've stayed in Heritage Methanam on both of my visit to Kochi, Kerala and if I do travel back to Kochi, definitely will stay here again. Beside being authentic as a traditional home in Kerala, I found this boutique hotel to be charming on everything.

The staffs are superbly nice & accommodating, very very helpful in many ways. They even let us have our breakfast in our rooms and at any time too! We're not morning people so when i say breakfast, it's more they let us have brunch in our rooms.

The rooms are quite spacious & charming. Though a tip, if you travel with many things to plug, better bring an extension electrical sockets as switches are not that many.

The garden facing the backwaters is a very nice spot to enjoy beers & watching the sunset, despite the mosquitos (as expected as it is just by the backwaters - carry a repellent or ask the friendly staff to burn the mosquitos repellents).

But most of all, we will always remember the food. It's excellent.very authentic, superbly delicious, nice portion and definitely fresh.

I'm a very happy camper while staying at Heritage Methanam, totally recommend it and by far, this is one of my most favourite hotel in Kochi.

I'm a returning customer, definitely.
