Holiday Vagamon

Location and layout of resort is good. But lack of maintenance is evident at every touch points and where ever you look at. Every handle ie from door handles to buffet container handles need urgent attention.

We were three couples and our kids. Very pleasant stay. Spacious rooms with balcony. Plenty area to explore. Very good food too.

Nice place, stay worth for the money, good service. But food was very substandard, if you don't have a chef to make Chinese please have the courtesy to tell, fried rice and noodles ordered was yucky.

I did not stay at the place. But visited it and checked the rooms. The deluxe rooms were good. But found it a bit overpriced at 4800/-. The standard rooms were really cramped. It smelled really mushy and had maroon discolored bed sheets.

Staffs response is very superb.standard rooms are little small and not very good.especially standard room S1 is very old it has no balcony.it is better to book other than standard room and it's better to avoid S1 in standard room.mosquitoe is also there but they provide mosquito repellent when we ask. Room also smells bad but they provide room spreay when we ask.

Nestled in the beautiful Vagamon hill station amidst tea plantations, a good and safe place to stay.cottages with breathtaking views. Well appointed rooms. Friendly staff. Pleasant experience overall!

Its a good place to stay if you are looking to stay here and relax.
There is a pool and free wifi. The staff is friendly and parking is available (but no sheds, its an open parking. Vehicles will get wet).

The rooms in the 3.8 thousand range (for 3 people) are basic. Not too spacious but still okay. The furniture is also good (the bed, pillows and other things).

The nearest shop is around 3.5 KMs away. The roads infront are not lit so when its night, you will only see the Logo of the resort.

P. S. Do not take the Todupuzha road (from Kakkanad) to get to Wagamon, the road is horrible I almost died!

Had stay at their tree house. Good hospitality and cleanliness. We had dinner from there and it was not too expensive. The boy who delivered food was also polite and friendly. Will recommend the tree house.

Good Ambience, Good staff, Affordable price. Only two people can stay inTree house.

Who can prefer this resort: Who would like to stay a quiet place, away from the rush of vagamon town can prefer here.

Good for One night stay. For children, activities are less but can run around there.

Never opt for a standard room. Delux rooms are good which is pool facing. Break fast was Ok.

Location is beautiful
The place is not maintained and is very unclean. The sheets were stained, floors were damp and geyser doesn't work.we booked two deluxe rooms and later changed one to executive since the bathroom was dirty. For the price range there are better options, so I would suggest not to go here. Food was okay. I would not say anything against the staff but the place is nothing like the pictures since it is not well kept.

Such a wonderful Resort, beautiful ambiance, nice room, Room service is excellent, Pool is very good, I visited October 2nd 2021, we are stayed in executive room, Room is big and bathroom also big, full time hot water available.super cool and mist climate, cam and quite, Food is also good, Breakfast is super.
Some bad smell in room at the time of check in, with in half an hour they are cleared it. Some leech is disturbed my kids.
My kids are very happy
We are planning to come here in summer

Resortand food was good, room was also fine and there Staffs were nice also
The only drawback was night time there were no electricity and they didn’t rectify till morning.

We stayed in their tree house. The room was very poorly maintained and unhygienic. Bed linens were unclean with stains which we asked them to change and they did it promptly. Bathroom was pathetic. Only good thing was the vie w outside. But the room ruined our stay. If anyone planning, avoid tree house at any cost.

I have visited Holiday Vagamon with family this weekend. (Aug'21). The overall stay was Not Satisfactory. To begin with the good part, the reservation and check in process was easy for me and the staff were very friendly.
Food must say very tasty even though we don't have many options in the menu.
Quality of the rooms were very bad. Water heater was not functioning, the room lock was not functional and there was no remote for the TV and these were on the best and most expensive room which they claim. I wonder how the other room are: (.
There were many leaches and insects in the balcony area. This could be because it's rainy season but we expect some hygiene when we spend our holidays.
I will not recommend this place.

The appearance of this hotel is very nice.looks clean and everything.
REALLY PATHETIC HOSPITALITY IN THIS RESORT. When i reach the resort, poor behaviour from the side of receptionist.no orders are delivered, very rude behavior.
Cancelled booking after a day and left to another.

Resort and ambiance was good but service is very bad and no of staff compare with room is very less we adjusted it because of we visited the place after Corona they just reopened.please improve your staff strength and services quality

Had a very good time there. Nice spacious rooms. Beautiful location. Food not bad. No kettle was provoded. Have talked to the manager about this and he said it will be available in every room as soon as possible.

We had a night over there. It's an Amazing place in the middle of a tea plantation. Homely Food is available at nominal rate.

Very good place to stay in Vagamon. Well maintained. Good food, have to order little before. A view point is there around 500 metres from the property. Friendly staff. Mr Chris was helpful in planning our site seeing. Our heater was not working and when informed the reception they made arrangements to repair it promptly. Tea garden is there inside itself. Overall nice experience. Thanks to the entire team

Pathetic customer service. Due to death of a close relative, I had to cancel the trip during morning. I fully paid the amount through agoda. Citing various reasons they even denied a change of date. In the similar situation a few years back, Deshadhan resort changed my date. Not recommending this resort for anyone.

Exceptional.excellent service and good food.calm and tranquil atmosphere. Great rooms. Rates are also affordable. Altogether a wonderful experience.

Located in beautiful and calm spot in vagamon.cottages and swimming pool were good.there is a kids area for little ones.

Great place to relax! Fantastic setting in between tea plantations and forest. We spent five nights here with two young kids and had a great time. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Great experience overall!

Amazing place in the middle of a tea estate. Lovely staff. Very good food but you need to pre-order. Wished I stayed longer to absorb the beauty of the nature. Overall a superb place to quieten the mind.

One of the best resort to stay. The rooms are good. Deluxe rooms are good. Staffs are courteous enough. Service is very good. Rooms are neat and maintained well. Property is maintained well. They have tea garden inside the property. Swimming pool is too good. Breakfast served was good. Limited items but the taste is good. Restaurant has limited dishes and they all tasted good. Price is reasonable. Good place to stay with family and kids. If you are looking for a place to relax then this is the place.

It's a very good place to spend your holidays. The resort was an awesome experience and the staff's behaviour was outstanding.

Somewhat liked it. The only thing is that the restaurant's food is awful. Told the service guys that we would eat at the restaurant but they served the food to our cottage. In the cottage, the pillows have lots of stains in it. Please try to improve the above things.

Beautiful place.great swimming pool. Great view and decent rooms. Service is average to good. For the one day we stayed we had to ask for water three times. The rooms to the right from reception towards the tea estate has a foul stench like that of a man hole emanate.during the rains please do wear footwear and look out for leeches it's got thick vegetation around. Points solely go for the view, place and the rooms.

A quiet place for a perfect getaway. Travellers who seek for a peaceful place to relax without much disturbance can visit this place. Not much shops or tourist spots nearby and this makes it perfect for travelers who love to be away from their routine. If you are looking for adventure and if you think you are good at driving, then a drive by night will challenge you. Driving between mist & rain with 1m visibility alone will test your nerves. Again, try this at your own risk.

A good facility will good food. Nice place to spend a weekend. Pool experience was awesome (need to Improve the water quality)

Holiday Vagamon is a great weekend getaway. The rooms are clean and well kept. The pool is also well maintained. You could also book a tree house based on the availability. BBQ needs to be booked in advance. Complementary breakfast is available. Power backup is there, so no worries on that front either. The awesome hospitality adds to all this.
