Hotel Abad

Had conducted my son's holy communion function at Abad and the services they rendered was outstanding.very much satisfied with the arrangements and coordination of staff.food was also appreciated by guests.

Had visited this place few days ago. The food is absolutely good, and worth.but when it comes to the service, the food takes quite a lot of time.rest everything is awesome! Thanku Abad hotel!

We went looking for non veg food. But they had only sadya as it was Onam. Good parking is available. Staff also courteous.

This hotel is good place to stay if you are looking for budget hotel. Amenities are basic not five star type but are adequate. AC, TV are available. Rooms are clean. Bed sheets are clean and nice so is restroom. Bathroom gives good hot water for refreshing bath. Service is excellent. People look after you. Morning breakfast is also very good and tasty. Specially I loved meduwada and sambhar.

For TV channels, please include some business, entertainment channels in Hindi and English language also. Not all customers are from Kerala only.and keep in list above.

Rest all is good.

Food is not that good tried fried rice veg it was good but gobi Manjurain is bad and also caramel custard sucks

There is a lot of progress to be made in terms of food quality. Care of suppliers is average. Actually my family and I are not very satisfied.

THERE IS NO PARKING IN THIS HOTEL I CAME FOR RECEPTION AND STAFS WHERE FRIENDLY AND FREE WIFI BUT TOILET IS VERY LIMITED ONE PERSON AT A TIME

Present review-

I don't use the rooms anymore. But this is my third time visiting the restaurant. To be honest the food and place is not so nice. Are they overpriced, it depends on person to person. Abad has a wonderful catering. I don't want to be harsh when it comes to this review, but Chulikal definitely needs some changes I belive.
Food to the inside need many changes. I think if these issues are sorted this will be as good as it was before.

The first time when I came I ordered biriyani, myself and the friend who came alone. They were really bad. This time when I came back I never went for biriyani instead opted fish curry meals, they were also not upto what I hoped for, my colleague ordered biriyani it was bad aswell. I did mention him that my last visit was not a good one with Biriyani.
He got a chance to experience.

Just one request you need a revamp on everything. Hope it will as good as what it was.

Cozy surrounding, lovely place. Situated in a commercial area, hotel Abad is a restaurant we visit very often. The head Biju sir is very kind along with all other staff members.

Decent place for a budget stay. Buffet breakfast was good. Room was ok. Bathroom was also neat and clean.

This place used to be a regular stop for tea when we went to Fort Kochi. Recently we went after a long time and decided to stop for tea. Things have changed drastically over the years. Service is bad. We ordered a pastry and that was stale. Atleast two days old. Snack options were less and what was available was not good.
Overall it turned out to be quite a disappointment.

Spent 2 days in Abad Plaza recently. The place isn't new and it shows. But the staff are wonderful, ever ready to help to make your stay comfortable. Manager was so thoughtful that he instructed the staff to take care everything and to place some waters in our car when we left the hotel at the end of our stay.

Excellent restaurant for fresh sea animals.
Enjoyed the hospitality and uncluttered vibe inside. Would recommend for a family or business both alike.
Cost is quite reasonable too.
Would definitely recommend this place for sea food lovers and general Kerala cuisine as well

I've been here for marriage function and amneties were good though the hall wasn't big enough for the whole crowd.probably that could be an organizational fault. They served great food and surely consider to visit again their restaurant. Unfortunately no photos this time will add soon later. That's all for hotel Abad

Stay is comfortable.buffet is filled with varities of seafood and others with cheap (truly affordable) rate. I love it.

The hotel has undergone a sea-change since it opened in mid-80's and is almost unrecognisable. My review is restricted to the restaurant. Golden Fried Prawns, omg, tiger prawns at their yummiest. Other items on the menu were good, but nothing could match those tiger prawns. Will go back any number of times for that one dish. Cash and Card payment. Parking is a problem though.

I've know this place for years good place to stay for a good price. The staff's are amazing and friendly. Mr Dipuraj Rajendran (unit Manager) was very friendly so is Mr Joseph. A good place for family and friends. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family

Here visit beach.clean beach and nice place to stay near beach and crafts, and spices on Synagogue Lane and Jew Town Road. Former colonial buildings mix with religious ones, including mosques, churches, Hindu shrines

This was a good hotel. Courteous reception. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Above average location. Didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant but it looks and smells delightful from the outside. I had one major issue though: there were just usable plug point in the room which was fine considering I spent enough time in the room to charge all my devices to a reasonable degree but I didn't get to charge them fully! Likewise, the rooms are not insulated too well, so one can hear the traffic noises outside to a certain extent, which is a minor inconvenience on the side of first world problems. Otherwise, great experience!

Nice sandwiches and ok Kerala coffee!

The fish and chips are as nice as their Royal club sandwich.

The gutters in the rear parking area could be cleaner but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food and its asking price!

Nice hotel and ambience. Tried meen pozhichadhu and it was amazing. Also chicken biryani was nice.

We ordered vegetarian dishes. Kulcha and paneer curry to be precise. Took a while to get our order because the place was unusually crowded. The food was delicious and was hygienic. The waiter was enthusiastic and served the food without making us ask for it. Overall a good hotel nothing over the top but a good place to get good food.

Hotel Abad.its a old and good helpful destination for kochiers.eapecialy attending marriages and stay.but i request they shoyld renovate the hotel.as i felt the same old furnitures.u should accesorie it newly way.

And now i dnt feel to go and stay there.

But i love to.so pls renovate ur building and rooms.

Excellent budget hotel in Fort Cochin. Very good ambiance. Friendly staffs. This hotel has an excellent restaurant named as Pavilion. The Hotel has a Very good banquet hall and attended a meeting. Food is awesome. I hope to visit again in future.

The restaurant is right beside the main road but is still peaceful inside. A nice place to have a small talk in the morning or evenings. Had went in for a morning tea and took a lime tea and a coffee which went in for 95rupees which I consider to be on the expensive side and thus it ate up a star. Neither of the beverages were something I'd visit the place again for. The service was laid back. Altogether settling for an okay experience.

The hotel is grand. It's the place to go for a more private dinner. The ambience is worth mentioning.

It's centrally located for the town of Kochi and mattanchery. Even though service is average though acceptable, there is a consistancy of service and food.
