Every thing except Parking space was very poor. As far as the quantity of food is concerned, I think this is the hotel in trivandrum which gives the lowest quantity. Ordered chicken varattiyath and only 3 small pieces were there, but the price was ₹270 + GST. If we pay half of this price we can get more quantity than this. Then the beef dry fry costing ₹ 180+GST. At least 2 plates required for one person. Finally the Falooda. There were no dry fruits, only cornflakes were there and only fruit available in that was watermelon!
I recently visited Hotel Al Saj restaurant and had a poor experience with the food. I ordered a full plate shawarma, but upon observing the kitchen, I noticed that they did not have a shawarma machine. When I asked an employee about this, they informed me that they had temporarily stopped using the machine. Despite this, they said that my shawarma was ready. However, upon receiving it, I found that the shawarma was made by simply cutting up grilled chicken into pieces and adding a large amount of vegetables such as carrots, onions, and cabbage. For the quantity and quality of the food, I felt that the price of 170 rupees was not worth it. When I brought this to the attention of the owner, they simply ignored my complaint and told me they would improve next time. Overall, I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant and would not recommend it based on my experience.
I was there for the food. Honestly it was horrible. The staff were fighting in the kitchen. The food served was cold and the worst food I have ever had in my entire life.
Visited Al San twice during my visit to Cochin. I had opportunity to try both lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The restaurant setup is nice. Menu has lots and lots of varieties. But during dinner few items were not available. During lunch all food items are available. Key highlight is “Satti soru “. We tried mixed Satti soru. It had assortment of all meat like from sea food, chicken, mutton and beef. Food was worth. Quantity and quality was value for money.
Yup it's true that it made us a little late waiting for the food But the food was awesome in taste Especially chattichoru It's a little bit crowded But the staffs really care about us Service was very nice and also it's a nice location with a fabulous view
We had chattichoru from Al Saj and it was not at that level of good food as I heard it from other reviews. The place is really messed up and very crowd. It is not recommend for those who love to dine in quetly with their loved ones. Parking is also a tough job at their as the parking slots will get fully occupied even they have good number of parking slots. This is also make the traffic jam on that road. The hotel management peoples trying very hard to manage the crowd and it is really appreciatable. Personally I felt the good service but food and ambience was not at all good. But I really think it is place to have atleast a try and thats why we still see the over crowd there.
Beef biriyani was very sugary.gravy base added from another curry.and the bill was not fully printed.and bill amount total is wrongly calculated.staffs are very careless they did not even care about.customers.if we want something we have to wait for the staff for a long time.and prices are very high.and food are very low. I don't want to go there any more. Money and time are wasted
I ordered shawai chicken from hotal alsaj and we got salty chicken and maionise can't even eat a single piece.too much salt.if any fault happen dont give to customers it ruins you business
Very Bad Biriyani and alfaham. Too salty. Staff didn't even care when we reported it. Too much time taken to get food only to experience salty food and their attitude. Also Alfaham was smaller size than other restuarants.
