Hotel Annapoorna

One of the best vegetarian hotels at Kottayam. Curd vada is very nice there and it's my personal favorite. Tried poori masala, Batoora and mushroom masala dosa over there. Very good parking space. I need to have a little more good atmosphere. The baby swing is not at all clean. It should have been considered to be clean.

Over priced and Unhealthy food. Smelly environment especially the wash area with open door offer direct view to closet.

We had our breakfast from here while traveling to Kottayam. Good breakfast poori masala and masala dosa with coffee. They are serving 6 rules of cheriya with poori as a side dish and in masala dosa also and all are really good.

The waiter is behaving like he owns us.
Very bad and he even dont know how to respect customers.
When i ordered Chilly Porotta at 9am, he said " you go &come at 1pm. "
Thats my incident.

Honestly I and my family always had the best experience here. The service here calls for special recognition, they are caring and polite. All the staff here are so pleasant and welcoming. A special mention to "Amir" such a kind man, my grandparents love him so do we, each time he ensured we were comfortable and satisfied. Keep up the good work! Your staff definitely deserves recognition and a good raise

We had our breakfast on 11th. Sep.idli, vada and coffee were homely, tasty, fine and on par with the quality of our Coimbatore Annapoorna.kudos to the management. We purchased fried cashew nut which was good. We also purchased chakkai varuthathu.the taste of which is not up to the level we expected.

Had sadhya from here. Cost per person is rs 400. Not worthy and tasty. Normal meals would have better taste than this. Total disappointment.

One of the best Vegetarian Restaurants in Kottayam. Amazing! A must! This casual dining restaurant has something for everyone! I had the 3 taste mini masala dosa, the dish was to die for! It was a generous portion, served piping hot, paper thin and the all 3 dosa were incredible. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, the dosas here are crisp, aromatic and delicious. Thanks for a wonderful meal!
They have ample space for parking and even the interior design is so damn good. We can be completely comfortable and dine with our food.

An excellent place to break journey and have a cuppa if you are on the road. Plenty of parking place. Reasonably clean washroom. Masala Dosa and Vadas are an all time favourite. Plenty of Dosa varieties though. Due to COVID there are some restrictions in dining in but they allow some open air dining. Closed on certain festival days. Very courteous staff.

Update. Dec 2021
Just revisited the place today. It is back to it's normal functioning. The menu is the same. The place was almost full.
Has not lost its charm at all despite the COVID woes and loss of business.

A hotel (vegetarian) which is located in the main road side from kottayam to ettumanoor. This hotel offers very good parking space to the customers. The staffs who engaged in delivering the orders are friendly and having good etiquettes. Very tasty and delicious food items are served here. There is a bakery also attached with the hotel. Nice ambience and nice rooms. AC room is available.

Excellent foods! And the way predented in plater feels satisfied. Also, The customer service was appreciatable. Will surely love to go again if again passes by.

Tasty food and spacious parking area.

After a long time i had a good and tasty vegetarian food. Has enough parking and is best for families also. Feels like this place should be visited again for having food. There is a small bakery nearby. Has ac seating and non ac seating. Price is affordable. The taste of chutney and sambar is very much. Place is very neat and clean also.

Excellent vegetarian food, don't forget to eat the sweet payasam they give along with lunch. Yummy lunch you will never forget. For all those who are visiting carithas hospital near by walkable distance

Good hotel for dining after Kottayam. A good parking space is available. Food is also yummy. Ambience is good. There are some variety combinations with some items. Onion pickle with Poori is excellent combo. Happy Eating

Vegetarian restaurant with huge parking space and great menu. Tried most of their items and everything is delicious. Dry fruits are also available there. It is opposite to Adaminte chayakkada and Thellakom church. I tried the triple masala dosa where you get 3 masaladosas (1 regular, 1 paneer, 1 mushroom). Batoora is delicious too.

Went for breakfast. Budget friendly hotel. They had variety of options which is unlikely in other restaurants spec for breakfast. Big parking space. Good place for vegetarian food.

Hotel is having nice ambiance.and neat too. It is ownerd by Sri. Noby Skaria. Several Masala dosa varities available here.at present they are having issues with online payment system.need to carry your ATM card for swiping.
As far as my knowledge is concerned. Same management is having the franchisee of Aadamminte Chayakkada just opposite to the other side of the road. These hotels on the two sides of State highway.

Super tasty food and nice service. Located at MC road just opposite to Aadaminte Chayakkada. 2.5 km from Ettumanoor towards Kottayam. Ample parking lot and God restrooms

Food is ok. The surroundings, especially the entrance area could be kept a bit more neat and clean.

You know, if you don't have fresh food, intimate the customer that we should go for better options. We just need to taste the better dishes. Not the below average rated ones.

People buying a masala dosa or any dosa items or even batura beware, they put each uzhunnu vada in the parcel and charge 16 each per vada excluding gst! Feeling pity at this way of cheating customer Never buying parcel from here again!

Aha! At last found the best (during the time of review) pure vegetarian hotel! Parking Space? Good. Hygienic condition? Excellent. Service? Great. Last but not the least, Food? PERFECT!
A food enthusuast's must go place.

I visited the hotel at morning while going on a trip. I ate Appam with Kadala and Veg. Stew and was amazed that everything was great. Appam was very soft and well cooked, Kadala with the perfect masalas and Veg. Stew with natural taste.
I asked for Idli Vada. Got more than I asked for. It came with variety of Chammanthis, with Red Chilli and Onion combination. The Sambar couldn't be better! And the Vada, oh wasn't that a treat. So crisp, so hot as it was taken just out of the stove.
Every dish I tried was cooked right away, the rest of my family tried Puttu and Idiyappam, I tried it and was very tasty beyond imagination.

I just want to say that if you go by the hotel, try it. You will never regret it in your life.

If you want to have authentic Kerala veg food this restaurant is best in the area.
They serve food in banana leaves. Lot of variety, don't know each dishes name. But it was tasty.

Parking lot available. Food is fine. Even you can getvery expensive good quality chocolates available. Plus bakery items too. We had breakfast and serving was too fast. No delay.

Had the best porotta in town. I ordered a porotta and kadala Curry and it came with a lot of sides including two types of chutneys, gravy, vegetable stew. I ordered a tea and it was great too. It was a great combo and turned out to be very soft and crisp porottas that were consodery sized. My only complaint is that the service was bad in that I waited a good 15 minites before I decided to take thing singo my own hands and get a waiters attention. Food is great, service may not be.

This restaurant was decent in its overall appearance and feel on their initial stages. But recently been their the whole look is different now and even the quality of food is bad, doesn’t taste the same as before.

Parking space neatness service etc are good little high rate and average taste of food. (veg Lunch is best over there expect sambaar)

Please don't go to this hotel. Last week i booked room on this hotel through Oyo rooms. I reached hotel at 10 pm with my 3 months pregnant wife. They gave me a wonderful and unforgettable welcoming. They informed that they were having 100% occupancy, they were no more rooms to provide me. I showed them my booking conformation message from oyo, but they were not ready to listen also. They didn't have any reception executive there, i guess security guy acted as receptionist. What a pathetic situation. I told him that i came with my wife, she was going to have 3 rd month scanning by tomorrow. He was not listing, behaved like a gunda.very very cheep service.

We had the 3 taste mini masala dosa.it was horrible.we left a feedback with the staff which was not received well.never going back.

One of the very few Pure vegetarian hotel between kottayam and Ettumanoor just before caritas Junction The other one is a namboodiris which is near neelimangalam bridge close to samkranthi. Food is reasonably good. Don't expect exceptional or authentic veg food. Nearly always crowded.

Very good nice place to eat. Vegetarian. Good for lunches and dinners. Staff are very helping and tasty food. If you are looking for some place to eat around medical college. This place is for you.

Food was served on time and some burnt cabbage thoran was provided and all curry was tasteless. I would not recommend anyone and the behaviour of the staff is really horrible. They were in a hurry so that they can provide the seats to others. We ordered juice and the staff told to have it in the front counter and delay in serving also. Full of flies and felt not hygienic. This shows they are only business minded.

Have come here on multiple occassions and I must say I have never been disappointed. Their food is of a superior quality.which justifies the price. Paneer/Mushroom Dosa highly recommended. The thali is another must have. In short a veg lovers paradise.

Food is also really tasty and we used to visit this restaurant frequently. It's situated on the sides of the main road, hence it's easily accessible.

Stuff wise is ok, but service needs to be improved, apart from that it's ok for my side due to waiter interaction all the things. I had puttu kadalai is one which feels filled.

Well usually it's a 4.5 star rating pure veg sadhya lunch that I get here. However, this time there was a fried cockroach too in the masala dosa. Eww.server was apologetic n discounted that dish from total bill. But still. Eww.

Annapoorna vegetarian restaurant is one of the best vegetarian restaurant's in town. The restaurant has a wide variety of food items on their menu. Even though it is a vegan restaurant most the food items are mouthwatering which are crafted by the southindian chefs. The restaurant also provide different verities of dosa like masala dosa, Mysore masala dosa, paneer Butter masala dosa, mushroom masala dosa etc

Contour DOES NOT ROCK! There was a time wgen contour rock rocked.on jan 2019 when i visited there.there was hardly any staff.no supervisor.the manager was not even ready to look at our face.the process of menu handover was through a waiter boy after he came from inside.worst is they gave frozen chatni with our dosa.and when we asked to atleast reheat it they plainly refused. It was JUST NOT WORTH visiting.

Booked via oyo as corporate booking. Promised a deluxe room. But rooms was not even worth. Just an old bulding renowated. Staffs were not at all friendly. Refused to provide water and breakfast. Food is good.
